教学过程:
一、导入
1.Greetings:
T:Good afternoon, class.
Ss:Good afternoon, teacher.
T:How are you today?
Ss:We’re fine, thank you. And you?
T:I’m fine, too. Thank you. Let’s begin our lesson.
2.Warm-up:
T:Today, we’re going to learn a story about a boy and a tree. Before we start, let’s look at some pictures. Please tell me what you can see from the pictures.
(图1:一棵高大的树;图2:一个男孩坐在树下;图3:一个男人在坐在木板凳上)
S:I can see a big tree.
S:I can see a boy sitting under the tree.
S:I can see a man sitting on a bench.
T:Very good. Now, let’s read the story.
二、阅读故事
(故事用英语讲述,讲故事的时候,老师要注意语速和语调,让学生能听懂。
可以在讲故事的时候,放一些相关的图片或视频,帮助学生更好地理解。
)
Once upon a time, there was a boy who loved to play in the forest. He had a secret place where he would go and spend hours playing and talking to his favorite tree. The tree was very wise, and it would listen to all of the boy’s dreams and wish es. The boy loved the tree so much that he would hug it every time he arrived.
Years passed, and the boy grew into a man. He moved to the city and forgot all about the tree. The tree was very sad, but it never stopped waiting for the boy to come back. One day, the man returned to the forest and saw the tree, but it was not the same tree that he remembered. It was old and weak, and the branches were bare.
The man asked the tree, “What happened to you, my friend?”
The tree replied, “I have given everything to you. I have given you my shade, my fruit, my branches, and even my trunk. Now, I have nothing left to give.”
The man felt ashamed and regretful. He realized that he had taken
the tree for granted and had not appreciated its value. He decided
to spend the rest of his days taking care of the tree, making it strong and healthy again.
From that day on, the man would visit the tree every day. He would water it, talk to it, and even play music for it. The tree slowly started to grow new shoots, and its branches became strong once again. The man was happy to see the tree come back to life, and he knew that he had learned a valuable lesson – to appreciate what he had before it was too late.
三、讲解课文并学习重点单词和句子
1.让学生自己尝试读一遍课文,并鼓励他们说出学到的新词汇。
2.让学生读课文,并找出一些重点句子,然后讲解这些句子的意思、用法和语法。

四、阅读教材并开展讨论

五、合作讨论并展示

六、总结和复习
