只有这样，汉字才能在现代社会中继续发光发热，为世界文化的发展做出更加重要的贡献。

Abstract:
Chinese characters are not only a precious cultural heritage of Chinese civilization, but also the unique writing system of Han Chinese. This paper aims to explore the origin, development, and influence of Chinese characters, as well as their current status and future prospects in modern society. Through literature research and empirical analysis, we found that Chinese characters have a long history and rich connotations, representing the wisdom of Chinese people. The pictographic meaning, structural features, and connections with other languages make Chinese characters
fascinating. However, with the development of technology and increased international communication, Chinese characters face challenges and pressures. In order to better protect and inherit Chinese character culture, we need to learn from the experiences of other languages, promote the modernization and internationalization of Chinese characters. At the same time, we need to strengthen research on Chinese character education and standardization, and improve people's awareness and proficiency in using Chinese characters. Only in this way can Chinese characters continue to shine in modern society and make more significant contributions to the development of world culture.
