（一）重点词组

三．疑难解析。

(一) There be 句型
1.There be 句型表示存在句型,there 在这儿没有实际意义,只是一个引导词, 用来引出there be 句型。

2.There be + 某物 + 地点状语 +时间状语。

汉语意思：“某地某时存在某物。

”由于汉语习惯“存在”说成“有”，There be + 某物 + 地点状语 +时间状语，汉语意思：“某地某时有某物”，此时“有”并非“占有”“拥有”，而是“存在”。

例如：There is a book on the desk.译为“桌子上有一本书”汉语通常而不说成“桌子上存在一本书”。

3.There be 句型中的主语通常放在后面，动词be 为谓语。

如果主语为数，用There is; 如果主语为复数用There are ; 如果主语为不可数名词用There is。

例如：There is a book on the desk. There are two books on the desk.
There is some water in the cup .
4.There be 句型中be 的形式（is、are )应和be 后的主语保持一致，若主语有两个，谓语动词通常和靠近be动词的那一个保持一致，即采用“就近原则”。

例如：There is a book and two pens on the desk. There are two pens and a book on the desk. （二）across
1. across from 在….的对面;在….对过
The hospit al is across from the supermarket. 医院在超市的对面
2. across 和through的区别
across是指从表面穿过，如,across the Pacific Ocean 横渡太平洋
through是指从里面穿过，如, through the jungle 穿越热带雨林
（三）Where is ...?
这个句型是口语中最常用的句型之一。

它可以用单数形式，也可以用复数形式。

可以问人也可以问物。

例如：问物：单数形式：Where is the pen? 那支钢笔哪去了？
复数形式：Where are the keys? 那些钥匙哪去了？
问人：单数形式：Where is Miss Wu? 吴老师呢？
复数形式：Where are the students of Class One? 一班的学生哪去了？
在本课中, Where is the …?表示"某地方在哪儿？"
用来询问地方，也可以使用"Is there …?"询问时可加"Excuse me."以表示客气，有礼貌。

回答时可根据具体情况回答。

例如：
"Excuse me. Where is the post office?" "请问，邮局在什么地方？"
"It's next to a shop." "在一家商店的旁边。
