PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple configuration and smoothly achieve power savings.
SOLUTION: This electric power calculating apparatus 10 for calculating the electric power consumption of a building provided at least with air-conditioning equipment has an air-conditioning load calculating part 50 for calculating air-conditioning load in the building according to equipment information about the equipment provided in the building, building information about the building, and setting information about operating conditions set for the equipment. The air-conditioning load is calculated as the operating conditions are varied until they match the air-conditioning capability of the air-conditioning equipment. The electric power consumption at the air-conditioning load matching the air-conditioning capability is calculated.
