I love making dumplings with my family. It's a
tradition that we do every year during the Chinese New Year. We gather around the table, each with our own little station, and start wrapping the dumplings. It's messy, but
it's so much fun.
The best part about making dumplings is the filling. We mix together ground pork, cabbage, garlic, and ginger, and then season it with soy sauce and sesame oil. The smell of the filling is amazing, and it makes my mouth water every time.
When it comes to wrapping the dumplings, everyone has their own technique. Some of us are really good at making the pleats on the edges, while others just stick to the basic fold. It's funny to see how different they all look, but they all taste delicious in the end.
After we finish wrapping the dumplings, we boil them in
a big pot of water. The sound of the dumplings hitting the boiling water is so satisfying. And when they're cooked, we take them out and dip them in a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar. It's the perfect combination of flavors.
Eating the dumplings is the best part. We all sit around the table, chatting and laughing, while we stuff our faces with the delicious dumplings. It's a time for us to bond and enjoy each other's company. And of course, we always fight over who gets the last dumpling.。
