Module 8说课稿一、说教材1.教学内容分析:本课的教材选自外研版九年级英语上册Module 8。

本单元阅读材料模拟体育年鉴的形式,从介绍X翔获得奥运110米跨栏冠军后的生活开始,一句“X翔非一夜成名”将话题转到介绍他的成长和成名经历。

这是一篇具有教育意义的文章,因此在教授语言的同时,还要培养学生健康向上的精神和顽强的意志力。

2.重点词组和短语:encourage, medal, record, represent, advertisement, sportsman, sportswoman, coach, ,regularly, skill, race, set up, now that,first of all, be pared with3.语法知识:一般过去时与一般将来时的被动语态。

4.重点和难点:本课的重点是(1)培养学生归纳段落大意的能力和记笔记的学习策略(词汇的学习与运用安排在第二课时进行);(2)拓宽学生英语阅读面,培养学生的阅读兴趣,提高学生的阅读理解能力。

本课的难点是培养学生篇章理解和提取信息的能力。

二、说教学方法与手段英语阅读课是引导学生综合运用所学语法、词汇和功能等知识,认真阅读文章,达到帮助其学习语言、文化等方面的知识,形成良好的阅读策略、提高阅读理解能力、书面表达能力、拓宽知识面,达到文化渗透的课型,同时在该课型中体现了学以致用的原则、考试中阅读领先的精神、新课程改革的要求。

《外语阅读教学的心理分析》指出:阅读课上,教师的作用不仅在于向学生传授语言知识和阅读技巧,还要指导学生有步骤、有顺序地操练,帮助学生掌握正确的学习方法,帮助学生挖掘潜力,开启智力,培养兴趣,使学生能顺利地完成阅读学习任务,迅速提高阅读能力。

阅读能力与阅读兴趣有关,学生阅读兴趣越高,动机愈强,越有利于广泛阅读,提高技能,培养和改善阅读习惯。

因此,在本节阅读课的设计上我注意了形式和内容的适当变换或穿插其他活动,使阅读教学保持新鲜感,学生乐于接受。

【教学过程】Step 1 Warming upT:Boys and girls,I have a bad news.I heard someone was hit by his father because of his homework.请学生说说此句的意思,教师再问,这句话里包含有我们刚学过的哪个知识点。

学生指出was hit为一般过去时的被动语态。

然后教师再解释:I have a joke on you.Y ou are all good students.T:Do you know Liu Xiang?What do you think of him?Let's learn about him today.活动小结:复习上一课的内容,并自然引入本课时的话题。

Step 2 Presentation1.学习新单词。

(1)教师出示跳高的图片,教学生学习“high jump”,并让学生跟读,对这个词进行操练。

Step 4 Reading1.Listen to and read after the tape,then understand the passage.教师播放教材上活动2中录音,让学生认真听录音两遍,然后让学生跟读课文。

再由学生领读,最后由学生分别读。

培养学生的诵读能力也是培养学生信心的一个方法。

2.听读完阅读文章,教师提出几个关于阅读部分的问题让学生带着问题来理解课文。

3.Let the students translate the text.教师给出几分钟的时间,让学生以组为单位来读文章并对文章进行逐句翻译,确定每句的最佳翻译。

4.教师读句子,让每组学生分别对句子进行翻译,给出自己的意见,选出最佳翻译方案,对翻译得最恰当的小组予以表扬。

当学生翻译课文遇到困难时,教师及时给予帮助和指导。

5.Language points教师把本单元的重点短语和句型写在黑板上,带领学生一起学习。

如:Liu Xiang was born in Shanghai in 1983.…2.教师让学生看活动6中的两个例句,关于张怡宁的句子变成被动语态在Step 6中已经完成。

让学生总结归纳含有一般过去时的句子主动语态变成被动语态的用法。

3.教师让学生把关于张怡宁的句子连成一篇短文,可用and,although和because等。

学生也可以借助以往对张怡宁了解的信息,对文章加以补充。

活动小结:让学生尝试写含有一般过去时的被动语态的作文,锻炼学生对语法的掌握程度,另一方面锻炼了学生的写作能力。
