Although he is young, he knows a lot.尽管他很年轻,但是他知道很多东西。

I did not know that then, although I learned it later.当时我不知道那件事,但我后来知道了。

注意:按照英语习惯,although不能与but 连用,如不可说although…, but…。

但为了加强前后两句的对比意义,在主句前可以加yet。

【用法辨析】although , though这两个词都作从属连词,引导让步状语从句,可以通用,但although比though的语气强,也比较正式。
