3M SJ3572 Hook Fastener产品说明说明书

3M SJ3572 Hook Fastener产品说明说明书

ASK A 3M EXPERTApril, 20143M™ Hook Fastener SJ3572Product Description3M™ Hook and Loop Fasteners o er advanced closure alternatives to zippers, screws, snaps, hooks andmore. They o er greater design exibility, faster product assembly, smoother and cleaner exterior surfacesand improved product performance in many applications. 3M hook and loop fasteners consist of hooks andloops which engage to form a quick fastening attachment. Simply pull the strips apart by hand to disengage.Product FeaturesThe woven nylon hook has exible, self-supporting inverted j-hooks protruding up from the backing withapproximately 300 hooks per square inch (46 hooks/square cm). The woven nylon loop has thousands of soft, pliable napped loops protruding above the backing, providing for thousands of openings and closings (cycles). Both the hook and loop are preshrunk to insure maximum dimensional stability and atness. Standard colorsavailable are black, white and beige, with several custom colors available with extended delivery times andadditional costs.SJ3572 is coated with high performance acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive which has high temperatureresistance and resistant to many environmental and chemical conditions.Commonly paired with 3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3571, this hook fastener can also engage with other 3M™ LoopFasteners.Technical Information NoteThe following technical information and data should be considered representative or typical only and should not be used for speci cation purposes. System product performance depends upon a number of factors, including the fastener (material, adhesive and area), application method, surface characteristics (material, texture and cleanliness), environmental conditions (moisture, ultraviolet and temperature exposure) and the time it is expected to support a given load. Because many of these factors are uniquely within the user’s knowledge and control, it is required that the user evaluate 3M products to determine whether they are t for a particular purpose and are suitable for the user’s substrates, method of application and desired end use.Rounding the corners, slightly recessing the product into the substrate, or providing raised edges around the Reclosable fastener can reduce the possibility of edge lifting and improve the overall appearance of the fastener on the nished product. Mechanically securing the corners of the fastener with rivets, staples, screws, etc. may also reduce the possibility of edge lifting, but may reduce the closure performance. The two most common techniques for attaching these 3M hook and loop fasteners to various surfaces are summarized below.Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Attachment: The use of pressure sensitive adhesives eliminates or reduces the need for sewing, solvent activation, dielectric or ultrasonic bonding or bulk adhesive bonding. This can result in simplicity, improved safety and lower installation costs. Pressure sensitive adhesive products can be applied manually or automatically using a variety of equipment choices. Contact your 3M Sales Representative to discuss automated equipment options.Surface Preparation: Highly textured surfaces may reduce the ultimate adhesion levels and care should be given to minimize the surface texture or roughness. Adhesive backed fasteners should be applied to surfaces that are clean, dry and free of oil, grease, dust, mold release agents or surface contaminants that could reduce the adhesion. It is recommended to remove any surface contaminants that may reduce adhesion by using a method suited for the type and quantity of surface contaminants present. Isopropal alcohol is a good general use solvent for cleaning contaminants from surfaces for example. In exceptional cases, especially when removing silicone mold release agents or on rough, porous surfaces, it may be necessary to lightly abrade the surface, use an adhesion promoter, or surface sealer to optimize the adhesive bond to the substrate. The selection of abrasion, priming or sealing methods will depend upon the substrates and the environmental conditions the product will be exposed to during use.Attachment Procedure: To obtain optimum bond to any surface, both the fasteners and the target surfaces should have equilibrated for a minimum of one hour at temperatures between 68°F (20°C) to 100°F (38°C) before application. The liner protecting the adhesive is removed and preferably without touching the adhesive, the fastener is applied to the substrate. Exposure of the adhesive to ambient conditions without the protective liner, before applying to the surface, should be minimized as initial adhesive tack may decrease. Flexible materials should be lying on a hard at surface so as to permit uniform adhesive contact with the surface. Use of a rubber hand roller, press platen or similar device is recommended to ensure full adhesive contact or wet- out with the substrate surface. Approximately 4.5 pounds of force per square inch, (310 grams per square centimeter) is recommended to increase adhesive contact, improving bond strength. For all adhesive applications, it is important to ensure that the edges are rolled down to reduce the chance of edge lifting.Plain backedThe plain backed 3M hook and loop fasteners are most commonly sewn into their applications. Liquid or hot melt adhesives and staples are other forms of attachment that can be utilized.Sewing: Although the selvedge edge was initially developed for stitching on, customers often nd that they get better anchorage when stitching through the 3M hook and loop portions of the fastener – this may be application dependant. The type of thread and stitch type is also best determined based on individual application, however, the fastener should be stitched on all edges for the best seam strength. Typically, special machine adjustmentsare not necessary when using our 3M hook and loop fastenersStorage and Shelf LifeShelf Life when stored in original packaging at 72°F (22°C) and 50% RH is 24 months.Family GroupReferencesISO Statement Technical Information SJ3401SJ3522SJ3523SJ3526N SJ3527N SJ3402SJ3531SJ3571SJ3572SJ3532N SJ3533N SJ3530Thickness (mm)Test Condition: Unmatedwithout liner2 2.4 3.2 2.4 3.22 3.2 3.2 2.4 2.03 3.05 2.4Thickness (mm)Test Condition: Matedwithout liner3.10.330.330.330.33 3.10.330.330.33 3.3 3.30.33Material Loop-WovenNylon Hook-WovenNylonLoop-WovenNylonHook-WovenNylonLoop-WovenNylonHook-WovenNylonLoop-WovenNylonLoop-WovenNylonHook-WovenNylonHook-WovenNylonLoop-WovenNylonHook-WovenNylonBacking NoAdhesive Sewon Plasticizerresistant acrylicPSAPlasticizerresistant acrylicPSAHighPerformance rubberbased PSAHighPerformance rubberbased PSANoAdhesiveSewonGeneralPurposerubberbasedPSAHighPerformanceAcrylicPSAHighPerformanceAcrylicPSARubberbased PSARubberbased PSAGeneralPurposerubberbasedPSALiner None Nonprintedpolyolen lm Nonprintedpolyolen lmPolyethylene withredprintingPolyethylene withredprintingNone PolypropylenePolyolen withembossed 3MlogoPolyolen withembossed 3MlogoWhitePolypropyleneWhitePolypropylenePolypropyleneLiner Thickness (mm)0.0890.0890.080.080.080.10.10.080.080.08Liner Color Clear Clear White White White Clear Clear White1. Casting tape is easy to apply and remove for fast application and enhanced patient comfort. The soft, pliable cast edges improve patient comfort.Ideal for use in combination with rigid Scotchcast casting tape,as soft edges provide additional comfort.Suggested ApplicationsFor use in the construction of casts where support is needed but rigid immobilization is not required,or a limited range in motion is desired. Applications include:Sports Medicine:thumb, wrist and ankle sprains Pediatric Orthopaedics:serial casting for club foot treatmentGeneral Orthopaedics: secondary casting, hybrid casting, corsetsOccupational Therapy: removable splintsA fibreglass casting tape that does not setto a completely rigid state, but remainsflexible and soft even when it iscompletely cured.5Casting3M™Scotchcast™Soft Cast Casting Tape6Basic Dip TechniquesFor casting, select and apply the appropriate size 3M ™Synthetic Stockinet and 3M ™Synthetic Cast Padding. Then select the appropriate size roll of casting tape or splint material for your patient.Note:Gloves must be worn while handling the casting tape so resin doesn’t transfer to skin. No gloves are necessary for Scotchcast ™One-Step Splint.Immerse the roll of tape or splint material in room-temperature water (21-24°C). Give three firm squeezes of the roll or splint while it is submerged in water. For splints, blot on a towel to remove excess water. This will give a set time of approximately 3 minutes. For casting material, wrap the limb spirally and overlap by 50%. For splints, apply to the extremity with foam or felt against the skin and wrap with an elastic bandage.Mould and finish the cast or splint as desired. In areas of critical moulding, keep your hands in place for 30 seconds to speed setting.Specialty Dip TechniquesTo shorten set time, use warmer water and squeeze the roll. If the roll orsplint is immersed in water above 27°C,the roll will set more quickly and a slight increase in the amount of heat release may be noted. To lengthen the set time to about four minutes, immerse the roll or splint in cooler water and remove it immediately without squeezing.(If the casting material is not squeezed while submerged in water, there may be a decrease in slipperiness of the tape.)If maximum set time is desired, don’t dip the roll or splint at all. When you are ready to mould, you can use a spray bottle to moisten the cast or splint or simply dip your gloved hand in water. Do not moisten splint after it is wrapped.Note:Set Strength vs Functional StrengthCast or Splint moulding should be performed until materials set, approximately three minutes after activated in water. Cast material will continue to harden until it reaches functional strength, about 20 minutes from the time it’s activated in water. The Dip Application TechniqueXXXX773M Splinting ProductsSplintingProduct BenefitsLow-profile,one-sided felt padding is less bulky so it moulds more easily to the patient for a closer, more conformable fit.All-in-one splint allows for easyapplication and time savings.Faster application increases patient turnaround. When laminated to the front surface of electronic displays, ARMR220 NC reduces the first surface glare and protects the display from scratching and abrasion. The top surface has a anti-fingerprint layer, which allows some contaminants to be wiped off, making the surface easy to clean. ARMR220 NC is intended to be used for a period of time and replaced with a fresh piece of ARMR220 NC.3.0 MaterialARMR220 NC is a non-tacky elastomer adhesive coated onto anti-reflection film. The AR film is composed of polyester (PET) coated with a scratch resistant hardcoat on one side. The hardcoat is coated with an anti-reflective (AR) coating. The top surface is covered with a low surface energy polymer layer for easy fingerprint removal.4.0 Structure5.0 Optical Definitions5.1.1 Haze – In transmission, the scattering of light by a specimenresponsible for the reduction in contrast of objects viewed throughit. The percent of transmitted light that is scattered so that itsdirection deviates more than a specified angle (2.5°) from thedirection of the incident beam.5.1.2 Transmission – The ratio of radiant power transmitted by an objectto the incident radiant power, expressed in percent.5.1.3 Clarity – In transmission, the deviation of transmitted light fromthe incident angle by a specimen responsible for the distortion ofobjects viewed through it.5.2 Cosmetics5.2.1 Point defect: Dark or light colored, opaque, transparent ortranslucent spot. Size of defect is judged by “D” below.where D = average diameter or {(a+b)/2}5.2.2 Scratch: Any line-like defect. Size and shape defined as greaterthan 4:1 aspect ratio and a >10 mm, where “a” is defined in thedrawing above.5.2.3 Dimple/Dent/Impression: A change in the topography of the filmsurface that is visible in reflected light.5.2.4 If an anomaly causes the product to be unusable in its application,it will be considered a defect. If the anomaly is visible but doesnot affect the function or appearance of the product in its use (e.g.scratches on surface of release liner, etc.), it will not be considereda defect. Cosmetic defects in the release liners should not beconsidered as they are designed to protect the product duringshipping/handling/assembly and disposed prior to final use.6.0 Optical CharacteristicsCharacteristic SpecificationHaze < 3%Transmission > 93%Clarity > 75%7.0 Appearance7.1 InspectionThe film is inspected using reflected and transmitted light. The viewing distance from the part to the eye should be no less than 8” (200mm) and more than 18” (457mm).7.1.1 Transmitted Light Inspection:The inspection for defects in transmitted light is done by looking straightthrough the film. Inspection should be based on a display white state.7.1.2 Reflected Light Inspection:The inspection for defects in reflected light is done by positioning the film ata 30-degree angle from the inspector and looking for defects on the topsurface of the film. The light source is a light fixture that contains cool white fluorescent lamps with a light output of approximately 25-35 footcandles(250-375 Lux).7.1.3 Inspection flow:Use reflective light inspection as the preliminary judgment, and if defectscan be found then use transmitted light to judge point defect and linear defects. Defect count should be decided under same background display state(e.g.: turned on to the white mode).7.2 Defect LimitsNon-uniformities are identified using visual inspection in transmissionand reflection under typical room lighting. If an anomaly is observable but does not affect the function ofappearance of the product in its use (e.g.: scratches on the surface ofrelease liner, etc.), it will not be considered a defect.7.3 Defect Specifications7.3.1 Finished Cut – Equal to or larger than 7”Point Defects (transmitted and reflected light)Maximum Allowable Diameter/Equivalent Diameter(Using 3M Limit Gauge)> 0.40 mm 00.40 mm to 0.25 mm 10.25 mm to 0.15 mm Disregard unless 2 defects within a 10mm x 10 mm square.<0.15 mm Disregard7.3.2 Finished Cut – Size smaller than 7”Diameter/Equivalent DiameterMaximum Allowable (Using 3M Limit Gauge)> 0.40 mm 00.40 mm to 0.25 mm 00.25 mm to 0.15 mm Disregard unless 2 defects within a 10mm x 10 mm square.<0.15 mm Disregard7.3.3 Finished Cut Part – All sizesScratches and Similar (reflected light)Maximum Allowable Diameter/Equivalent Diameter(Using 3M Limit Gauge)Length > 2.5 mmORWidth > 0.1 mm1Length < 2.5 mm,AND0.05 mm < Width < 0.1 mmWidth < 0.05 mm Disregard7.3.4 Other defectDimples/Dents (Reflected light):Maximum AllowableDiameter/Equivalent Diameter(Using 3M Limit Gauge)> 0.8 mm 0>0.4 mm to < 0.8 mm1(for display >=7”)>0.4 mm to < 0.8 mm(for display <7”)< 0.4 mm DisregardColor Point:Point defect with colors other than black or white is also viewed as a point defect, thus is to be judged with point defect criteria.Color halo:If a color halo phenomenon contains a debris inside, adopt point defect criteria to judge. Otherwise use PAS with the defined 30-degree view angle.Surrounding air bubble:Judge based on lamination result to a substrate. If an air bubble is found then, it is counted unacceptable.Note: Excluding the edge unevenness and bumps due to cutting process.7.4 Lamination quality7.4.1 Delamination is not allowed in the usable area of the master sheet(5 mm from the edge of the sheet).7.4.2 No visible delamination along the edge of the part when laminatedto a smooth glass surface for the final cut part.7.4.3 Delamination specifications do not apply to the protective liners.7.5 Acceptance Criteria7.5.1 If a defect is visible, refer to the size requirement shown in thetable in section 7.3.7.5.2 If the defect is not visible per section 7.3, the part is acceptable.7.5.3 Air bubbles, with no debris between the release liner and adhesiveare acceptable if not observed after product lamination.7.5.4 Defects in release liner are acceptable if they do not affect filmquality after lamination of product to glass.7.5.5 Sheets shall be free of release liner wrinkles.7.5.6 If the defect can be removed by air-blowing the part with ionizedair, the part is acceptable.7.5.7 Final judgment on all defects not specifically covered here will befitness for use.7.6 New DefectIf a new defect type is found, a discussion will be held between thecustomer and 3M.8.0 MeasurementCharacteristic DescriptionThickness MicrometerSize Caliper or optical comparatorEdge Finish Visual.
