（二）得金刚身，无限精勤“那罗延”是梵语，意思是金刚力士，这是指欲界一种具大力的天神，表示坚牢、有大力量。
“金刚那罗延身”，指佛菩萨的根身像金刚一样坚不可摧，像那罗延天神一样力大无穷，而且远远超过那罗延天神的力量。
金刚那罗延身的力量有多大呢？1、那罗延的力量经中说：一切四天王天天子的力量加起来，等于一个四天王天天王的力量；十个四天王天天王力量的总和，等于一个三十三天天子的力量；一切三十三天天子力量的总和，等于一个帝释天王的力量。
像这样，夜摩天子、夜摩天王、兜率天子、兜率天王、化乐天子、化乐天王、他化自在天子、他化自在天王、魔天子、魔王，倍倍辗转增上，乃至十个魔王的力量，等于半那罗延的力量；十个半那罗延的力量，等于一个那罗延的力量。
