思维导图在小学英语阅读课教学中的运用

以Animals in danger为例,该单元在Read and story该模块呈现了Joy and Elsa这篇小故事。

在阅读文本之前,学生对过去和现在的动物发展情况进行了分析,建立了对动物保护的初步认知。

在组织阅读教学之前,笔者首先立足这篇文章的主要内容,和之前学到的知识,向学生提出了这样的问题:“野生动物的生存情况如何呢?”借此,鼓励学生以小组为形式,进行头脑风暴,以过去和现在的野生动物的发展情况为中心,建构二级框架。

如此建构思维导图,可以使学生复习所学,获取知识储备。

在学生建构思维导图的过程中,笔者继续追问:“我们要如何保护野生动物呢?这节课要学习的文章为我们展现了保护野生动物的做法,你们觉得这篇文章会从哪些方面写如何保护野生动物呢?”在这样的问题驱动下,学生会自主地将旧知与新知建立联系,同时把握阅读方向,为继续建构思维导图、深入分析文本打下坚实的基础。

二、阅读中,自主探究阅读中,是小学英语阅读教学有效实施的关键阶段,教学目的是引导学生整体掌握文本内容,获取语言知识,积累阅读方法和策略,提升阅读质量。

小学生是英语阅读教学活动的参与主体,但是其阅读能力不足,教师在实施教学活动的过程中,要想引导学生自主阅读,需要围绕阅读文本。

为学生设计不同的任务,用任务为学生指明阅读方向,同时驱动学生发挥主观能动性,分析文本内容。

思维导图在英语阅读教学中的应用,除了组建文本,实现师生交流之外,还要辅助学生理解文本内容。

因此,笔者在组织阅读中教学活动的时候,会鼓励学生根据提出的任务建构思维导图,一步步地探寻文本内容,对文本进行有意义的建构,在可视化展现文本内容的过程中,深刻地理解文本内容。

具体做法是:1.初步阅读,绘制核心主题和一级分支。

即在组织阅读中教学活动之初,笔者首先会为学生提出一些具有引导性的问题,借此指导学生阅读,使学生带着任务,走进文本,建立思维导图核心主题和一级分支。

老师在教学中充分体现了“教师为主导,学生为主体”的新课改理念。

这节课,立足于“学生的发展”,这种发展不只是简单的教材知识的罗例,更多地是教材知识的重组和整合,把教材内容浓缩成几个问题,让学生紧紧围绕这几个问题去思考去总结,在自主合作中注重培养学生正确的学习方法和答题技巧。
