which意思是“(有限数量中)哪个人或哪个事物”
如:A: Which is your best friend?

(2)I’m good at it.
be good at 意思是“擅长于”,与do well in意思相近。

parents’为名词所有格,其可分两种情况,一种是单数名词的所有格,直接在后加’s;一种是复数名词的所有格,以s结尾的加’即可,不以s结尾的,仍然加’s。

look既可单独使用,不接介词,也可以后跟at, for, after, like等词;另外,look一词作联系动词,后可接形容词。

如:Look before you leap. (三思而后行。

show sb. around意思是“领某人去参观”,与“take sb. to visit”相近。

当你没听清楚对方说的话时,你可以用升调说pardon,让对方重复说一遍;若用降调,则是“原谅、宽恕”之意。

(3)I want to say hello to her.
want一词的意义及用法较多。

A: want sth. 想要某物; B: want to do sth. 想要做某事C: want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事
如:I want some water.
I like singing. I want to be a singer.
I don’t do well in my English. I want you to help me with it.

(1)How long does it take?
how long特殊疑问词,对时间段提问;除此之外,还有how often, how far, how old, how soon 等等。

take意为“花费”,可用于“It takes sb. some time to do sth.”一句子结构。

--- How soon will your dad come back? --- In about a month.
It takes me about fifteen minutes to drive to school every day.
(2)Do you borrow books from the library?
borrow 是(主语)借进,常用短语:borrow sth from sb.;lend是(主语)借出,常用短语:lend sth. to sb 或lend sb. sth.(通常跟双宾语)
试比较:He often borrows money from me.
Tom loves reading. Can you lend the book to him?
Tom loves reading. Can you lend him the book?
(3)There are all kinds of books in our library.
all kinds of意为“各种各样的”,类似的词组还有,a kind of…, many kinds of…, different kinds
of…; kind of 与以上不同,意思是“有点”。

如:There are many kinds of colours in the world.

few、a few、little、a little的区别和联系:few / a few用来修饰可数名词复数,few表示否定意义,没有,几乎没有;a few表示有肯定意思,有几个。

如:He has few friends here, he feels lonely.
There are a few eggs in the basket.
little / a little用来修饰不可数名词,little表示否定意思,没有,几乎没有。

a little 表示肯定意思,有一点儿。

如:There is little ink in my bottle, can you give me a little?
