Step 1：Warming up and lead－in
1．Show some pictures，ask the students to look at the pictures，and then talk something about the pictures to review the text in Unit 1.
2．Ask students to discuss the questions：

(2)What do you often do on the eve of the new year?
(3)What do you often do during Spring Festical?
3．Introduce and teach the new words and phrases.

1．Play the recording and listen to the tape carefully.
2．Play the tape.Let students listen and repeat，and answer the questions.

3．Ask students to read the passage，work in pairs and find out the difficulties in the passage，and offer help.
