3.Give some brief explanations about the key word to students and practice it repeatedly.
Teacher:This man is blind. He can’t see. (老师领学生再读一遍blind. 老师闭上眼睛作摸索状，一边说：Oh,no! I am blind. I can’t see! Then repeat the word. Now, the whole class, please show me “blind”.
3.Students follow the example and say:I am blind. I can’t see.
重复跟读单词blind，重复句子I can’t see.
Students:The special dog can help the blind man.
Students:The dog is useful and clever.(repeat the words in the song)

本册教材为外研社小学新标准英语一年级起点五年级上册。本课为第七模块第一单元新授课，以“Dogs”为主线，讲述了狗在日常生活各个方面的用途，以及如何用can和can’t表达人和动物等能做和不能做的事情。本课谈论的话题与学生的生活紧密联系，有很多可以谈论的素材。因此在课堂中，要积极鼓励学生大胆的使用英语表达。同时向学生输入保护动物的观念。

学情分析
五年级学生经过四年的英语学习，已经掌握了在动物话题中描述动物外貌，基本能力特征等相关的单词和句型，具有听懂简单的配图小故事、简单提问以及常用指令的能力，能在口头表达中做到发音清楚准确，能进行简短对话并在老师指导下讲述简单小故事，基本能获取信息和处理信息，能在老师的引导和启发下获取文本信息，能模仿写句子，且学生对于本科中的关键词can并不陌生，因此本课将特别关注学生的语言输出，通过课文跟读模仿，游戏活动，话题谈论等形式，让学生大量的使用英语表达。
4.能写标：
学生能做好课前预习，在课堂中充分发挥主观能动性，做好小组学习。能通过信息的获取，对比总结理解到special dog和pet dog的差异。
思维品质目标：
能对图文中的小细节进行思考提问，深入理解为何pet dog不能帮助人们，以及pet dog在日常生活中能做到的一些事。
