cancer patients, and to analyze the effects of RBI gene expression and mutation on the prognosis. Methods A total of 25() patients with breast cancer received surgery in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2017 were selected. The expres­ sion of Kl)l in cancer and paracancerous tissues was detected by immunohistochemical staining. The coiTelations between Khl expression and clinical features and prognosis was analyzed. The effects of different Rl)l gene expression levels and Rbl genr mutation on the prognosis of breast cancer patients was analyzed. Results The expression level of Rbl in breast cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in normal adjacent tissues ( P V 0. 05 ) . The proportions of patients with tumor size M3 cm, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage HI 一 IV with in low Rbl expression patients were significantly higher than those in patients with high Rbl expression ( P < 0. 05 ). The Kaplan 一 Meier Plotter database showed that the recurrence - free survival rale of patients with high Rbl expression was significantly higher than those with low Rbl expres­ sion (P <0. 001 ). The cBioPortal database showed that the overall sun ival of breast cancer patients with Rbl mutation was significantly lower than that of non - mutant patients (P=0. 041 ). Cox multivariate model analysis showed that TNM stage and Rbl expression level in breast cancer patients significantly affected the prognosis of patients ( P < 0. 05 ) . Con­ clusion The expression of Rbl in breast cancer is closely correlated to tumor size, lymph node metastasis and clinical prognosis. The high expression of Rbl gene significantly improves the prognosis. The prognosis of breast cancer patients with Rbl gene mutation is poor.
