Introduction
In the current education system, exams are used as a tool to measure the academic progress of students. English examination is one of the most sensitive and extensive subjects across the globe. A preparation for the exam necessitates proper planning, dedication, and a focused approach to be successful. This essay will evaluate the mid-term English exam that took place in the seventh grade in the autumn semester.

The mid-term English exam was held on October 9, 2021. The exam consisted of four sections, namely reading, writing, grammar, and listening comprehension. The exam lasted for two hours and was challenging, given the vast amount of content covered. The following is a summary of each section:
Reading comprehension: The reading comprehension section had four passages, each having twelve multiple-choice questions. The questions were designed to evaluate the student’s reading skills, comprehension, and interpretation of the textual material provided. The texts
covers a range of topics, including history, science, and language.
Writing: The second section of the exam was the writing section. The section had two parts: a short essay of about 150 words and fill-in-the-blank type questions. Both parts were designed to evaluate the student's grammar and vocabulary skills.
