The Internet is so common these days that many people couldn’t stop worrying about its disadventages.However,I think the Internet has more adventages than disadventages.
To begin with,the Internet can give students an easy access to necessary and vital information and materials they need for the lectures.Besides,it has greatly promoted the efficiency of our daily life.For example,we can go shopping and even compare the goods without going to the department stores.Furthermore,the Internet is able to shorten the distance,making it possible to learn about foreign countries without actually going there.What is the most important is that the Internet offers equal opportunities to its users.As long as they’re studious and open-minded,they can contact with the world whatever their ages,genders and colors.
The dark side of the Internet is quite apprent,such as getting addictive,being unhealthy and providing incorrect information.Yet these problems are not unsolvable.The scientists can design a programme which will cut the electronic equipments’power automaticlly after the setting time.In this way,people are forced to leave the screen for a break.And while searching information online,we shouldn’t depend on it merely.There are various tools we can use for more accurate knowledge,like books.We couldn’t and shouldn’t rely on everything online.And we have to count on our own
brains.Therefore,the key to managing to bring advantages of the Internet into full play and reducing the disadvantages is learning to gain self-control and self-descipline.
In short,the Internet has brought us incomparable convenience on our life and work as well as open a brend new chapter of communication.Of course it has disadvantages but we can minimize the drawbacks if we try our best to build a clean network world together and be the master of ourselves.。
