Almost every day we see fire engines rushing through the streets. Fires have not only resulted in heavy economic losses but also injured and killed many people. What are the causes of fire accidents? Most of the fires are brought about by carelessness and violation of fire safety regulations. Others are due to the poor quality of home electrical appliances. By the way, some people dont know how to use them properly. Besides, there are quite a few businesses which focus so much of their attention on profits that they tend to neglect and even ignore fire precautions. In my opinion, in order to prevent fires we should first of all foster peoples sense of fire prevention. The second thing we have to do is to increase the number of professional fire fighters, to whom regular training courses should be offered. Finally, we are to improve the existing fire engines and add more fire facilities to high-rise buildings. In this way, a reliable fire prevention system will be formed.保护环境英语作文篇2People plant a great number of young trees in the mountains. When the trees grow big and tall enough, they are cutdown by workers and carried out of the mountains to the paper mill where fine paper is made from wood. Then it is taken to every corner of the country and used for different purposes. Some people use paper to copy writing, others use it to write something such as letters, reports and articles. When paper turns out to be of no use,the waste paper is collected and retreated in the recycling factory before being put into use again.保护环境英语作文篇3Man is the product of nature, people rely on natural and survival, it is known. 约翰·克里在民主党全国代表大会上的演讲

约翰·克里在民主党全国代表大会上的演讲

John Kerry ' speech at 2004 Democratic National Convention

Senator John Kerry: I am John Kerry, and I am reporting for duties. We are here tonight because we love our country. We are proud what American is and what can become. My fellow American, we are here tonight united in one simple purpose: to make America stronger at home and respected in the world. A great American novelist wrote that you can't go home again. He could not have imagined this evening. Tonight, I am home. Home where my public life began and those who made it possible live. Home where our nation's history was written in blood, idealism, and hope. Home where my parents showed me the values of family, faith, and country. Thank you, all of you, for a welcome home I will never forget. I wish my parents could share this moment. They went to their rest in the last few years, but their example, their inspiration, their gift of open eyes, open mind, and endless world are bigger and more lasting than any words. I was born in Colorado, in Fitzsimmons Army Hospital, when my dad was a pilot in World War II. Now, I'm not one to read into things, but guess which wing of the hospital the maternity ward was in? I'm not making this up. I was born in the West Wing! My mother was the rock of our family as so many mothers are. She stayed up late to help me do my homework. She sat by my bed when I was sick, and she answered the questions of a child who, like all children, found the world full of wonders and mysteries. She was my den mother when I was a Cub Scout and she was so proud of her fifty year pin as a Girl Scout leader. She gave me her passion for the environment. She taught me to see trees as the cathedrals of nature. And by the power of her example, she showed me that we can and must finish the march toward full equality for all women in our country. My dad did the things that a boy remembers. He gave me my first model airplane, my first baseball mitt and my first bicycle. He also taught me that we are here for something bigger than ourselves; he lived out the responsibilities and sacrifices of the greatest generation to whom we owe so much. When I was a young man, he was in the State Department, stationed in Berlin when it and the world were divided between democracy and communism. I have unforgettable memories of being a kid mesmerized by the British, French, and American troops, each of them guarding their own part of the city, and Russians standing guard on the stark line separating East from West. On one occasion, I rode my bike into Soviet East Berlin. And when I proudly told my dad, he promptly grounded me. But what I learned has stayed with me for a lifetime. I saw how different life was on different sides of the same city. I saw the fear in the eyes of people who were not free. I saw the gratitude of people toward the United States for all that we had done. I felt goose bumps as I got off a military train and heard the Army band strike up "Stars and Stripes Forever." I learned what it meant to be America at our best. I learned the pride of our freedom. And I am determined now to restore that pride to all who look to America. Mine were greatest generation parents. And as I thank them, we all join together to thank that whole generation for making America strong, for winning World War II, winning the Cold War, and for the great gift of service which brought America fifty years of peace and prosperity. My parents inspired me to serve, and when I was a junior in high school, John Kennedy called my generation to service. It was the beginning of a great journey – a time to march for civil rights, for voting rights, for the environment, for women, and for peace. We believed we could change the world. And you know what? We did. But we're not finished. The journey isn't complete. The march isn't over. The promise isn't perfected. Tonight, we're setting out again. And together, we're going to write the next great chapter of America's story. We have it in our power to change the world again. But only if we're true to our ideals – and that starts by telling the truth to the American people. That is my first pledge to you tonight. As President, I will restore trust and credibility to the White House. I ask you to judge me by my record: As a young prosecutor, I fought for victim's rights and made prosecuting violence against women a priority. When I came to the Senate, I broke with many in my own party to vote for a balanced budget, because I thought it was the right thing to do. I fought to put a 100,000 cops on the street. And then I reached across the aisle to work with John McCain, to find the truth about our POW's and missing in action, and to finally make peace with Vietnam. I will be a commander in chief who will never mislead us into war. I will have a Vice President who will not conduct secret meetings with polluters to rewrite our environmental laws. I will have a Secretary of Defense who will listen to the best advice of our military leaders. And I will appoint an Attorney General who actually upholds the Constitution of the United States. My fellow Americans, this is the most important election of our lifetime. The stakes are high. We are a nation at war 每 a global war on terror against an enemy unlike any we have ever known before. And here at home, wages are falling, health care costs are rising, and our great middle class is shrinking. People are working weekends; they're working two jobs, three jobs, and they're still not getting ahead. We're told that outsourcing jobs is good for America. We're told that new jobs that pay $9,000 less than the jobs that have been lost is the best we can do. They say this is the best economy we've ever had. And they say that anyone who thinks otherwise is a pessimist. Well, here is our answer: There is nothing more pessimistic than saying America can't do better. We can do better and we will. We're the optimists. For us, this is a country of the future. We're the can do people. Andlet's not forget what we did in the 1990s. We balanced the budget. We paid down the debt. We created 23 million new jobs. We lifted millions out of poverty and we lifted the standard of living for the middle class. We just need to believe in ourselves 每 and we can do it again. So tonight, in the city where America's freedom began, only a few blocks from where the sons and daughters of liberty gave birth to our nation 每 here tonight, on behalf of a new birth of freedom 每 on behalf of the middle class who deserve a champion, and those struggling to join it who deserve a fair shot 每 for the brave men and women in uniform who risk their lives every day and the families who pray for their return 每 for all those who believe our best days are ahead of us 每 for all of you 每 with great faith in the American people, I accept your nomination for President of the United States. I am proud that at my side will be a running mate whose life is the story of the American dream and who's worked every day to make that dream real for all Americans 每 Senator John Edwards of North Carolina. And his wonderful wife Elizabeth and their family. This son of a mill worker is ready to lead 每 and next January, Americans will be proud to have a fighter for the middle class to succeed Dick Cheney as Vice President of the United States. And what can I say about Teresa? She has the strongest moral compass of anyone I know. She's down to earth, nurturing, courageous, wise and smart. She speaks her mind and she speaks the truth, and I love her for that, too. And that's why America will embrace her as the next First Lady of the United States. For Teresa and me, no matter what the future holds or the past has given us, nothing will ever mean as much as our children. We love them not just for who they are and what they've become, but for being themselves, making us laugh, holding our feet to the fire, and never letting me get away with anything. Thank you, Andre, Alex, Chris, Vanessa, and John. And in this journey, I am accompanied by an extraordinary band of brothers led by that American hero, a patriot named Max Cleland. Our band of brothers doesn't march together because of who we are as veterans, but because of what we learned as soldiers. We fought for this nation because we loved it and we came back with the deep belief that every day is extra. We may be a little older now, we may be a little grayer, but we still know how to fight for our country. And standing with us in that fight are those who shared with me the long season of the primary campaign: Carol Moseley Braun, General Wesley Clark, Howard Dean, Dick Gephardt, Bob Graham, Dennis Kucinich, Joe Lieberman and Al Sharpton. To all of you, I say thank you for teaching me and testing me 每 but mostly, we say thank you for standing up for our country and giving us the unity to move America forward. My fellow Americans, the world tonight is very different from the world of four years ago. But I believe the American people are more than equal to the challenge. Remember the hours after September 11th, when we came together as one to answer the attack against our homeland. We drew strength when our firefighters ran up the stairs and risked their lives, so that others might live. When rescuers rushed into smoke and fire at the Pentagon. When the men and women of Flight 93 sacrificed themselves to save our nation's Capitol. When flags were hanging from front porches all across America, and strangers became friends. It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us. I am proud that after September 11th all our people rallied to President Bush's call for unity to meet the danger. There were no Democrats. There were no Republicans. There were only Americans. How we wish it had stayed that way. Now I know there are those who criticize me for seeing complexities 每 and I do 每 because some issues just aren't all that simple. Saying there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq doesn't make it so. Saying we can fight a war on the cheap doesn*t make it so. And proclaiming mission accomplished certainly doesn't make it so. As President, I will ask hard questions and demand hard evidence. I will immediately reform the intelligence system 每so policy is guided by facts, and facts are never distorted by pol i t i c s . What life will be like in 2050 2050年的生活

What life will be like in 2050 2050年的生活

What will the life be like in 2050? I believe our life will be quite different from today.First of all, in 2050, with the help of the people all over the world, we will enjoy a better life. The sky will be bluer. The air will be fresher. The water will be cleaner. There won’t be any pollution any longer. There will be more trees and flowers around us. When you go outside you will see small animals running around your house. How nice the life will be.At that time the roads will be wider. There will be less traffic in the street. Cars will run on new, clean fuels and they will go very fast. Maybe we will take a quick airplane to the place we want to go in a short time. I can’t wait to try this kind of life.In 2050 students won’t need to go to school. They will learn all the subjects on the computer by themselves instead. They won’t do a lot of homework. They will have plenty of spare time to do whatever they really like.Of course in 2050 there will be robots everywhere with a lot high-tech facilities. Maybe there will be one in your home and serve you at anytime. Of course robots will make our lives easier and more convenient. We won’t need to do anything boring or dangerous.I am sure computers will be more widely used. People won’t need to go shopping in the mall. They just press the butten on the computer and get the things they want. People will use the computer screen to try on the clothes they like. I can’t imagine how wonderful the life will be.All in all, life in 2050 will be more convenient and more colorful. We will have more fun in life。

英语作文我在未来是什么样子的40词

英语作文我在未来是什么样子的40词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1What Will I Be Like in the Future?Thinking about the future makes me really excited! When I imagine myself all grown up, I see a world of amazing possibilities. Will I be an astronaut exploring strange new planets?A famous athlete breaking world records? Or maybe a brilliant scientist discovering a cure for cancer? There's just so many awesome things I could end up doing! One future I can picture is becoming a professional basketball player. I'm already the tallest kid in my grade and I love playing hoops during recess. I practice dribbling and shooting every day, working on my skills. In the future, I imagine being able to dunk over anybody! I'll be shattering backboards left and right. The crowd will go wild every time I step onto the court. People will be chanting my name as I lead my team to victory after victory. We'll win so many championships thatthey'll have to build a whole new trophy room just for me! How cool would that be?Another possibility is that I become a video game designer when I grow up. I'm obsessed with games and am always coming up with ideas for new adventures and worlds. Maybe I'll create the next big blockbuster game that everybody goes totally crazy over. They'll be lining up around the block at midnight just to get their hands on my game! I'll put in super awesome graphics and gameplay that blows everything else away. There will be incredible levels, power-ups, vehicles, and loot. And ridiculous secret areas and cheats that take forever to find. Gaming magazines will give my game perfect scores and say it's a masterpiece! I'll be rolling in money and everyone will be jealous of my success. But you know what? Forget basketball and video games - I'm going to be an astronaut! That's the dream career. I'll get to travel into outer space and walk on the moon for real. While all my friends are stuck on boring old Earth, I'll be flying by in a rocket ship. I'll be the first person to set foot on Mars and plant the flag there. Alien civilizations will welcome me to their planets as an ambassador for humanity. We'll exchange profound wisdom and philosophies. I'll get to experience the wonders of the cosmos up close - nebulae, supernovas, wormholes! Everything! NASA will have museums dedicated entirely to my accomplishments. I'll be like a real-life Buzz Lightyear!Heck, maybe I'll do it all - be an all-star basketballplayer/astronaut video game tycoon! With my brains and athletic ability, I can conquer any field. The future is whatever I decide to make of it. I have my whole life ahead of me to make my dreams come true. The possibilities are endless when you're a kid!No matter what path I take, one thing is for sure - I'm going to be wildly rich and famously successful. Duh. With my skills and ambition, how could I not be? I'll be able to buy anything I want - a ginormous mansion, exotic sports cars, my own personal jet, you name it. I'll share my fortune with my family and make sure they never have to worry about money again. We'll take luxurious vacations to Hawaii, Paris, anywhere our hearts desire. And of course, I'll give tons of money to important causes too. I'll build libraries and schools all over the world to help kids get a quality education like I had. Giving back is important whenyou've made it big.Sometimes I imagine my face will be everywhere - TV, magazines, viral videos. The paparazzi will follow me around snapping pictures 24/7, desperate to catch a glimpse into my thrilling life of fame and fortune. I'll grant exclusive interviews to the most prestigious media outlets. They'll ask me what hair products I use to get my gorgeous locks. If I have a girlfriend (I'lldefinitely have a super hot girlfriend who's a model or celebrity, duh). And of course, they'll want to know - what's the secret to my astonishing success? I'll just smile that signature smile and say, "Stay hungry, stay humble, stay champions."Basically, the future is looking pretty bright for me. Greatness and glory are inevitable. Anywhere I go, crowds will form just to get a peek at me. Little kids will see me and be like, "Mommy, mommy! There goes the greatest person who ever lived!" I'll basically be a real-life superhero that everybody idolizes and wants to grow up to be like. My accomplishments will be studied for centuries to come. Monuments, schools, parks and awards will be named after me worldwide. I'll be a role model for kids everywhere and an inspiration to millions. The things I achieve are going to completely revolutionize multiple fields and change the world in awesome ways.So yeah, just your typical, run-of-the-mill megastar life in my future. Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary at all!篇2What Will I Be Like in the Future?Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about what I think I'll be like in the future. It's so much fun to imagine!First of all, I hope that when I grow up, I'll be really tall. Like, super duper tall! Maybe even taller than a basketball player. That would be so awesome. I'd be able to reach things on the highest shelves and dunk a basketball no problem. Although, I guess being too tall could make it hard to fit through doorways and find clothes that fit. Hmm, maybe just being average height is better after all.As an adult, I really want to have an exciting job. Something adventurous and different every day, like being a explorer or scientist who travels all around the world studying cool stuff. Can you imagine going on expeditions to the rainforest or Antarctic? Exploring uncharted territories and making amazing discoveries? That would be a dream come true! Although, I'm not so sure about the snakes, bugs, and extreme cold I might have to deal with. Maybe something less outdoorsy would be ok too. Then again, if I became a famous athlete or celebrity, that could be pretty exciting as well. I'd get to play sports professionally in front of huge crowds of cheering fans. Or be in movies and go to fancy Hollywood parties and awards shows. Can't you just picture me doing interviews on the red carpet? "Thank you, thank you! You like my outfit? It's vintage Gucci." Although, I'm not sure I'd want paparazzi following me around all the time. That could get really annoying after a while. You know what might be really cool? Becoming a brilliant inventor! I'd get to design and create all sorts of new robots, gadgets, and crazy futuristic technology that no one has ever seen before. Like a flying car or jet pack shoes. How awesome would that be? I'd be famous and probably get crazy rich too. I could buy an enormous mansion with a gigantic pool, waterslide, and ice cream sundae machine that never runs out of sprinkles! The only downside is all the years of hard work and studying I'd have to do first. Being an inventor is probably really difficult.Honestly though, I'm not 100% sure what I'll end up doing or what I'll be like when I'm an adult. I could be a teacher, police officer, chef, or something completely different than what I imagined. I'll just have to wait and see! No matter what though, I hope I end up being a kind, generous, and caring person who tries to make the world a better place. Someone who is a good friend, works hard, and follows their dreams. Oh, and I really hope I have an awesome mullet hairstyle and a cool pair of sunglasses too. How rad would that be?Those are just some of my thoughts on how I might turn out in the future. A regular kid can dream, right? I've got my whole life ahead of me, so who knows whatcool and amazing things could happen. I'll just have to be patient and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. The future is looking bright! Thanks for reading all about my ideas. Until next time, stay awesome!篇3What Will I Be Like in the Future?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about what I think I'll be like when I'm older in the future. It's really fun to imagine!First of all, when I grow up I hope I'll be really tall, like 6 feet or more! I'm kind of short right now so it would be awesome to be a tall grown-up. I think tall people seem very impressive. Maybe I'll even be taller than my dad, who is 6 foot 2 inches. How crazy would that be?I'm also hoping I'll have an amazing job when I'm older. Something super cool like being an astronaut and going to space. Or maybe I could be a scientist and invent an awesome new technology that helps make the world better. I'm reallygood at science and math in school so I bet I could do either of those jobs great. If not those, then perhaps I'll be a famous athlete and play professional sports like basketball or soccer. I'm really fast and good at running and kicking balls. No matter what though, I want my future job to be something exciting where I get to travel a lot and have adventures! As an adult, I think I'll probably live in a big city like New York or Los Angeles. Somewhere with super tall skyscrapers and lots of people around. Living in a quiet small town seems kind of boring to me. The big cities have so many restaurants, museums, sports teams, and fun stuff to do. I could never get bored living in an awesome place like that! Although I do worry a bit about the cost of living being really expensive in those cities. Maybe I'll be really rich from my cool job though so it won't matter, haha!Speaking of being rich, I really hope I'll have a ton of money when I'm older. Then I could buy anything I want like video games, toys, candy, you name it! I could have an enormous house or maybe even a mansion with like 20 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. A personal home movie theater would be pretty sweet too. Oh and I'd definitely get myself a Ferrari or Lamborghini sports car to drive around in. Those things are awesome! I could also take my family on vacation wherever wewant like Hawaii, Paris, or Tokyo. If I'm rich I'm going to spoil my parents rotten to make up for having to take care of me all these years when I was a kid.As for what I'll actually look like, I'm envisioning having tan skin, bulging muscles, and being really handsome. Like a male model mixed with a body builder kind of look. I better start working out a lot now to get ready for that! My hairstyle will probably be either shaved bald or super long flowing locks going down past my shoulders. Maybe I'll even dye it a crazy color like bright blue or green. For my clothes, I think I'll dress in stylish designer outfits made of silk, velvet, leather, you know - fancy stuff. No more cheap t-shirts and jeans for me!My personality will likely stay pretty similar to how I am now - friendly, funny, adventurous, and always up for trying new things. Although maybe I'll be a bit more serious and responsible too since I'll be an adult. One thing I hope never changes is how close I am with my family and friends. We'll still hang out all the time, even when I'm grown up and maybe have a family of my own one day. Family is everything!Well, those are some of my thoughts about what I'll be like in the future when I'm older! Of course, a lot could change between now and then. Maybe I'll end up being completelydifferent than I imagined here. Like a shy, boring accountant who lives alone or something, haha! I sure hope not though. Only time will tell what life has in store for me. But I'm excited to find out and to go on that journey. Being a kid is fun, but I can't wait to eventually grow up into my best future self. It's going to be amazing!篇4What Will I Be Like in the Future?Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. My teacher asked us to write about what we think we'll be like when we're all grown up in the future. I've been thinking really hard about it and here's what I imagine!First off, I hope I'll be really tall when I'm an adult. All the grown-ups I know are way taller than me. My dad is 6 feet tall! That seems so huge to me right now. I'm only 4 feet right now so I still have a long way to go to catch up. Maybe I'll end up being even taller than 6 feet? That would be so cool. I could reach all the top shelves and never need a step-stool again.I also really hope I'll be strong when I'm older. Not just bodybuilder strong, but strong in my mind and heart too. I want to be brave enough to always stand up for what's right, even ifit's hard. And I hope I'm wise enough to make good choices, unlike the dumb choices I make sometimes now as a kid. Like that time I jumped off the shed roof because I thought I could fly. That was definitely not my wisest moment! In the future, I dream of having an amazing job that I really love. Something exciting and different every day. Maybe I'll be a scientist who gets to make incredible discoveries and invent new things to help make the world better. Or a wildly successful artist or author creating beautifully paintings and books that inspire millions. Wouldn't that be awesome? I have so many big dreams - I just don't know which one I'll end up picking yet!One thing I really want is to be surrounded by people I love when I'm older. I already have the greatest family and friends. My parents are the best, always supporting me and teaching me right from wrong. And my buddies at school crack me up every day with their goofy jokes and games at recess. In the future, I hope I'm just as close with my family, and that I've made a ton more amazing friends too. I can't imagine anything better than being around the people who make you smile.I think when I'm grown up, I'll probably live in a really cool place. Maybe a huge city like New York with giant skyscrapers and tons of people everywhere you look. Or possibly somewherebeautiful in nature, like a log cabin up in the mountains. Somewhere I can go on hiking adventures and see incredible wildlife like bears and eagles! As long as I have the people I love with me, I'll be happy wherever I end up.One last thing - I really hope that in the future, I'll have travelled to some fascinating places all around the world. I want to see the pyramids in Egypt, the canals in Venice, Italy, and the rainforests of the Amazon. Everywhere looks so amazing in the pictures and movies I've seen. I can't wait to get out there and explore it all for myself one day! Who knows what other crazy adventures and places await me?Well, those are some of the biggest hopes and dreams I have for what my future will look like. Tall, strong, brave, wise, living my passion, surrounded by loved ones, maybe in an awesome city or beautiful nature, and seeing the entire world. It sounds perfect, doesn't it? I may only be 8 years old now, but I'm already so excited to grow up and make that future a reality. Bring it on, adulthood - I'll be ready!篇5What Will I Be Like in the Future?Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm a 4th grader. Today, my teacher asked us to write about what we think we'll be like when we grow up in the future. I'm really excited to share my ideas with you!First off, I hope I'll be really tall when I'm older. I'm one of the shortest kids in my class right now, and all the big kids seem so cool and grown up. I can't wait until I hit my growth spurt and shoot way up high! Maybe I'll even be over 6 feet tall. That would be awesome. I'd be able to reach all the high shelves and dunk a basketball without even jumping. How cool would that be?I also really hope I'll be super smart and good at school when I'm older. Learning is hard for me sometimes now, especially math. Those big multiplication problems make my head spin! But I'm going to keep studying really hard so that by the time I'm an adult, I'll be a total brainiac. I'll know all about science, history, literature, you name it. I'll be like one of those professors you see on TV who seem to know absolutely everything. Maybe I'll even get to wear a cool tweed jacket with elbow patches like they do!Speaking of jobs, I'm not totally sure what I want to be when I grow up yet. But I have a few ideas I'm tossing around. For a little while, I really wanted to be a astronaut and travel toouterspace. How amazing would it be to float around the rocket ship and look out at the stars? I could even walk on the moon! But then I remembered I'm a little scared of heights, so maybe that's not the best job for me after all.Another idea I had was to be a detective, like in those cool noir movies my dad loves. I'd walk around in a trench coat and fedora hat, smoking a pipe maybe, and solve all sorts of crazy mysteries. With my future super genius brain, I'd be able to piece together any clues and crack the case wide open. The bad guys wouldn't be able to pull a fast one on me, that's for sure!Or maybe I'll be a professional athlete when I'm older? I do love playing sports, especially baseball and soccer. Can you imagine if I made it all the way to the major leagues or joined a World Cup team? I'd be on TV every week and little kids would look up to me as their hero. That would be so incredible! I'd sign autographs, appear on cereal boxes, and of course, make tons of money to buy whatever toys and video games I wanted. Now that's living the dream! No matter what career I choose though, I just hope I'll be a good person who helps make the world a better place. Right now, there's a lot of problems in the world that need fixing - pollution, poverty, wars, and so much more. With my big futurebrain, maybe I'll discover some amazing new inventions or solutions that could solve some of those huge issues. Or I'll use my money and fame for good causes, like starting charities or funding science research. At the very least, I'll always try my hardest to be kind, honest, hard-working and a positive role model for young kids who look up to me, just like I look up to the cool older kids now.I also really hope I'll stay close with my family and childhood friends when I'm grown up too. My parents, siblings, grandparents and buddies from school mean the world to me. I can't imagine life without them! No matter how tall, smart or successful I become, I'll always make time to visit my folks, write letters to my old pals, and keep those connections strong. Maybe I'll even still live near my hometown so my kids can grow up around the same streets, parks and schools I did. Keeping those family ties will help make sure I never forget where I came from.Thinking about my future is so exciting! Of course, a lot could change between now and adulthood. Maybe I'll discover a new passion or dream job I haven't even thought of yet. Maybe some unexpected opportunities or challenges will come up that will completely alter my path. That's OK though - I'll be ready to adapt and roll with whatever life throws my way. With hard work, determination and a positive attitude, I'm confident I'll be able to achieve all my biggest hopes and dreams.I can't wait to see what the next few decades have in store and what amazing adventures await! The future is looking pretty bright from where I'm standing. Thanks for reading and stay tuned - you'll be hearing a lot more about Timmy, Future Superstar, before you know it!篇6What Will I Be Like in the Future?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today my teacher asked us to write about what we think we'll be like when we grow up in the future. I have to admit, I got pretty excited thinking about all the possibilities! I can picture my future self so clearly. Here's what I imagine:First off, I'll definitely be way taller - like at least 6 feet! All the boys in my class are obsessed with how tall they'll end up being. We all want to be giants. I'm going to drink tons of milk to help me grow. I'll probably be really strong too from playing all the sports I love like soccer, basketball and baseball. I'll have huge muscles from lifting weights at the gym.As an adult, I think my face will look kind of similar to how it does now, except way more handsome of course. I'm hoping I'll have nice tan skin from spending so much time outdoors. My hair will maybe be a little longer too instead of this silly buzzcut my mom makes me get. I'll definitely be rocking some cool clothes - who knows, maybe I'll even be a trendsetter!I can't wait until I'm old enough to get my driver's license. I'm going to save up all my allowance to buy the sickest car around. It'll be a super fast sports car that can go from 0 to 60 in like 2 seconds! Bright red with awesome fins and a sunroof. I'll trick it out with a crazy sound system that has speakers everywhere so I can blare music as I cruise around town.Speaking of town, I plan to live in a huge mansion on a big hill overlooking the entire city. My house will be absolutely gigantic - like 20 bedrooms at least! I'll have my own basketball court, bowling alley, home theater and video game room. And the backyard will have the most amazing pool with waterslides, a grotto, and a swim-up bar. I'll invite all my friends over all the time to hang out. With a sweet house like that, you know I'll be throwing the most epic parties every weekend. We'll eat all the junk food we want - pizza, burgers, ice cream, you name it! We'll play music attop volume, dance like crazy people, and just go totally nuts. My neighbors will probably get annoyed but oh well - we'll be having too much fun to care!Of course with a insane house and car like that, you're probably wondering what my job will be to afford it all. Well, I've got it all planned out - I'm going to be a famous professional athlete! I'll get paid zillions of dollars to play whatever sport I end up being the absolute best at. Maybe I'll be a basketball star who can dunk from half court. Or a baseball slugger who hits 100 home runs per season. Or a football quarterback who throws 80-yard touchdowns all day long.No matter what sport I master, I already know I'll be a total showoff on the field or court. I'll be doing crazy celebrations after I make an awesome play - backflips, dancing, pointing to the crowd to cheer louder. The fans will go wild for me! Little kids will beg their parents to buy my jersey with my super cool nickname on the back. I'll be signing autographs and taking pictures with my adoring public everywhere I go.When I'm not being a superstar athlete, I'll be traveling around the whole world to exotic places. I'll take my private jet to climb mountains, explore rainforests, swim in crystal clear tropical waters, and experience incredible cultures. I'll go ondaring adventures like skiing down treacherous slopes in the Alps or hiking up an active volcano. I'll make friends from every different country!Even when I'm home, my life will be nonstop excitement and fun. I already mentioned the outrageous parties, but I'll also have collections of sweet stuff I'm into, like limited edition sneakers and the latest video game systems and VR gear. Maybe I'll even get into collecting cool cars besides my dream sports car. I'll deck out another whole room as an arcade with all the newest games. No matter how awesome my house and possessions are though, the best part of being a grown up will be getting to eat and do whatever I want! Want ice cream at 2am? You got it. Feel like eating a whole pizza for breakfast before going to ride rollercoasters all day? Why not! I'll take vacations and call out of work anytime I feel like it with no rules or curfews. True complete freedom!Well, that's my vision of how amazing my life will be in the future when I'm an adult. A famous athlete with tons of money, nice cars, a gigantic house, the latest toys, traveling the globe, partying nonstop, eating as much junk food as I can handle - what more could a kid dream of?! I can't wait to grow up andstart living my absolute best life without any limits. Being a kid is fun, but adulthood is going to be even better! I've got so many awesome experiences and adventures awaiting me. The future is looking very bright!。

我认为在未来我会成为一个画家的英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Dream of Becoming an Artist When I Grow UpHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I absolutely LOVE drawing and painting and pretty much anything involving making art. That's why I really think I want to be an artist when I grow up!Ever since I was a tiny little kid, I've always loved coloring and scribbling with crayons and markers. My parents have boxes and boxes full of drawings I made when I was just a toddler. A lot of them are just crazy scribbles all over the paper, but my mom and dad would hang them up on the fridge anyway because they thought my artwork was just THE BEST.As I got a little older, maybe around 5 or 6 years old, I started actually trying to draw real things instead of just random scribbles. Trees, houses, animals, self-portraits...you name it, I gave it a shot! Some of them were pretty bad and didn't look much like what I was trying to draw at all. But my parents andteachers always encouraged me to keep practicing and trying my best. That's when I started to really fall in love with drawing and painting. There was just something so satisfying and fun about putting colors and shapes down on a blank sheet of paper and creating whatever my imagination could dream up. Magical unicorns, spooky haunted houses, outer space scenes...my crayons and markers could bring anything to life! When I was around 7, my parents got me a kid's art set full of colored pencils, pastels, watercolor paints, and other cool supplies. That's when I started getting a little more serious about art and paying more attention to details like shading, proportions, mixing colors, and so on. I discovered that I really, really loved working with oil pastels and watercolors the most. Now that I'm 10, art is just about my biggest passion and hobby. Sure, I still enjoy things like playing soccer, reading cool books, and hanging out with my friends. But there's nothing I love more than sitting down with a fresh canvas and letting my creativity run wild for a few hours.I can already kind of imagine what my life would be like as a professional artist when I grow up. I picture myself working in a bright, open studio space with huge windows to let in lots ofnatural light. Maybe I'd have an easel set up in one corner for big canvas paintings. And a drafting table for sketching in another area.I think a lot of my artwork would probably be landscape paintings of forests, mountains, beaches, and other beautiful outdoor scenery. That's because I absolutely love nature and being outside. Whenever my family goes camping or hiking, I always take a little sketchbook and try to capture some of the trees, rocks, clouds, and other amazing views. But I'd definitely paint other subjects too like people, animals, cityscapes, you name it. Maybe I'd get really good at painting portraits and do commissioned work for people who want me to paint their families. Or maybe I'd be an artist who does huge, colorful murals on the sides of city buildings. How cool would that be?!I can just imagine how fun and creative my job would be as an artist. No two days would ever be exactly the same. I'd get to wake up whenever I wanted (okay, maybe not TOO late!) instead of having to be at a boring office at 8am. Then I'd head to my studio, put on some chill music, and spend my day mixing paints, sketching out new ideas, and working on my latest masterpieces.Of course, being a professional artist isn't all just fun and games. I'd have to work really, really hard to keep improving my skills and techniques. I'd probably take lots of advanced art classes, read tons of books, and practice drawing and painting every single day. Creating beautiful artwork that people want to buy takes a ton of patience, discipline and dedication. There would probably be some stressful times too, like dealing with deadlines for big projects and commissions. Or working really hard on a painting for weeks only to feel unsatisfied with how it turned out in the end. Every artist has to deal with criticism, rejections, and setbacks from time to time. That's just part of the job.But you know what? Even with the challenges, I honestly can't picture myself doing anything else as a career. The thought of having to get dressed up in a suit and work at a boring desk job makes me want to cry! I was just made to be an artist, plain and simple. My ultimate dream is to get so good at painting that someday MY artwork could be hanging in big museums and art galleries for everybody to see and enjoy. Can you imagine how mind-blowingly awesome that would be?! People coming from all over the world to admire my landscapes, portraits, murals andsketches. Writing about my work in books and magazines. Maybe even making documentaries about my life and career. Ahh, that would just be the best!Of course, it's going to take a whole lot of hard work, practice, and dedication to my craft to make that dream a reality. But if I stay focused and pour my heart and soul into my art, I really think there's a chance it could happen someday. An artistic genius has to start somewhere, right?Even if I never get to be a world-famous, museum-level kind of artist, I know I'll always continue to paint and draw just for the pure love and joy of it. Making art is just one of those things that makes me feel truly happy and alive inside. As long as I get to wake up every morning and spend my days being creative and making new works of art, I'll feel like the luckiest kid on the planet. So yeah, you can probably tell by now that I'm 100000% sure I want to be an artist when I grow up! It's my biggest dream and driving passion in life. Sure, it'll be a long, tricky road to make that dream happen. But if I follow my heart and not let anything stop me from doing what I love, I really do think I can become a painter when I'm older. Here's to lots of late nights hunched over canvases, spending way too much on art supplies, getting covered in paint splatter on a daily basis, and most importantly - creating beautiful works of art that WOW the world! Being an artist is my destiny, and I honestly can't wait to start living it. Thanks for reading, and get ready world...this little artist is coming for you!篇2I Think I Will Become a Painter When I Grow UpHi, my name is Alex and I'm 10 years old. I really, really love painting and drawing pictures. That's why I think when I'm an adult, I'm going to be a professional painter! Let me tell you all about it.Ever since I was a tiny little kid, I've always loved coloring and scribbling with crayons and markers. I would color for hours and hours, until the crayons were tiny little stubs! My parents had to keep buying me new boxes of crayons all the time because I would use them up so fast. I just loved making bright, colorful pictures. When I was around 5 years old, my mom got me my first real paints and a big sketchpad for my birthday. I remember being so excited! From that day on, I started painting all the time insteadof just coloring. I would make big messy paintings of animals, landscapes with trees and flowers, self-portraits, and anything else I could think of.At first, my paintings didn't look like much. They were just big blobs of color really. But I kept practicing over and over, and eventually I got better and better at it. Now I can actually paint things that look pretty realistic! My parents are always so impressed with my paintings. They hang them up all over the house.I just love everything about painting. I love squeezing the tubes of colorful paint out onto my palette. I love mixing different colors of paint together to make new colors. I love the way the brush feels gliding across the canvas. And I really love when I'm totally in the zone, so focused on what I'm painting that I barely notice anything else around me. It's like I get lost in my own little colorful world.Painting makes me so happy and proud when I step back and see the final result after working really hard on a piece. Even if a painting doesn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to, I still enjoy the process of creating it so much. Art class is definitely my favorite subject in school. When I get older, I want to keep studying different painting techniques, styles, and mediums like oil paints and watercolors. I'll practice as much as I can so I get amazing at it. Then I want to become a professional painter! I'll set up my own art studio and spend all day painting beautiful masterpieces that people will hang in galleries and museums. How cool would that be?I know being an artist isn't necessarily the easiest job, but I don't mind. As long as I get to spend my days doing what I love most, which is painting, then I'll be happy. Making money isn't my biggest goal - I just want to create amazing works of art that make people say "Wow!" I hope people will appreciate my paintings and the hard work I'll put into each one.Who knows, maybe I'll even get super famous one day like Picasso or Van Gogh! Can you imagine having one of my paintings hang in a museum? That would be a dream come true. Whether I get famous or not though, I'll keep painting no matter what because it's my biggest passion in life.I have such a strong feeling deep down that painting is just what I was meant to do as a career. Whenever I try to imagine my future self, I picture me as an adult, standing in front of an easel with a painter's smock on, working diligently on my next masterpiece painting. That's why I'm absolutely certain I'llbecome a painter when I grow up! So you'd all better start collecting my artwork now before I become the next big thing!篇3My Dream to Become a PainterHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my big dream for the future. Are you ready? I'm going to become a famous painter one day! That's right, I'll be an amazing artist whose paintings hang in big museums and galleries all around the world. How cool is that?Ever since I was a tiny little kid, I've loved painting and drawing more than anything else in the whole wide world. I was pretty much born with a paintbrush in my hand! While other kids were playing video games or watching TV, I could always be found coloring, sketching, or painting away. My parents have kept practically every scribble I've ever made.My very first "masterpiece" was a finger painting I did when I was 3 years old in preschool. It was just a big mess of different color paints all smooshed together. But you know what? I was incredibly proud of that painting! I can still remember the huge smile on my face when I showed it to my mom and dad. They put it up on the fridge and everything. As I got a little older, my art skills got a lot better. These days, I love painting realistic pictures of animals, landscapes, people's faces, you name it! I'm a total natural if I do say so myself. My bedroom walls are practically covered with my latest paintings. Whenever I get some free time, you'll find me hunched over my easel working away.I take special art classes after school a few times a week too. The teachers are always saying stuff like "Jamie has a true gift" and "This girl is going places with her talent." It makes me feel so proud and confident in my dream. I work really hard to get better and better at painting all the time.Lately, I've been super interested in learning different painting styles and techniques from famous artists throughout history. I check out tons of books from the library about painters like Picasso, Monet, van Gogh, and da Vinci. Then I try my best to imitate their unique styles and brush strokes. It's pretty tricky, but I'm getting there slowly but surely! My biggest role models, though, are contemporary painters like Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald. Their portraits are just mind-blowingly gorgeous with all the rich colors and intricate details. I've studied their masterpieces so closely. One day, I want to be able to capture light, emotions, and personalities on canvasjust like they do. I'll get there by practicing every single day without fail.Sometimes I get a little worried, though. What if I never get as breathtakingly good as those famous painters I look up to so much? What if my art isn't quite ground-breaking or unique enough? Those kinds of doubts and negative thoughts can really get me down in the dumps. But you know what? I shouldn't think that way at all! I'm only 10 years old and already a talented little painter. As long as I keep working harder than ever and never give up on my passion, I know I'll earn my place among the artistic greats. Discouragement just isn't an option for a girl with huge dreams like me!I have so many ideas for amazing paintings I want to create once I get a bit older too. I'm definitely going to do a portrait series celebrating fierce, powerful women throughout history and today. And get this - for my landscape paintings, I want to imagine what cosmic phenomena like black holes and nebulas would look like up close. Wouldn't that be the coolest thing ever? When I'm not painting, I like dreaming about what life will be like once I get super famous and successful. I'll split my timebetween a trendy city art studio and a peaceful country home Studio. My art will be displayed at the Museum of Modern Art, the Louvre, the Tate Modern, you name it! There will be documentaries about my life and inspirations on TV. Little kids all over the world will look up to me as a role model artist, just like I look up to today's great painters. How amazing is that?I can't wait to start earning money from my art too. Then I'll be able to travel the globe, soak up new cultures, and paint all the incredible sights I see. Paris, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, South Africa - I'll go literally everywhere and put it all on canvas! My art will introduce beauty into people's lives no matter where they come from.Of course, I'll have to be rolling in dough first to make my wildest travel dreams come true. That's why I'm going to work my absolute hardest on promoting myself and getting my name out there once I'm an adult painter. Maybe I'll start off selling my pieces at local art fairs and markets. Then I'll submit to bigger and bigger galleries until I get worldwide representation. The art world better watch out for me!I have a secret desire to get super famous too, not gonna lie. It would be so cool to have people recognize me on the street and ask for my autograph! I'll be a household name like Oprah orMichael Jordan. Anytime I attend a museum unveiling or art exhibition, there will be crowds of photographers snapping pictures of me. I'll make sure to always look stylish and fabulous on those red carpets too!Wow, thinking about my future as a world-renowned artist really gets me excited and motivated. It will take many years of hard work, creativity, and perseverance, but I know I have what it takes. Painting isn't just a hobby or talent for me - it's a life passion and driving force. My soul was destined to create beautiful art that inspires people! So that's why I'm 100% sure I'll make my dream happen one day. By the time I'm a grown-up, I'll be an artistic genius whose paintings blow people away. My art will hang in all the best museums, sell for millions of dollars, and get appreciated by critics and regular folks alike. Just you wait and see - Jamie is going to take the art world by storm!Alright, well that's my story for now. Thanks for listening! I need to get back to my latest painting. An artist's work is never done, ya know? I'll talk to you all again once I'm a famous painter living my best life. Stay cool, okay? Bye!篇4My Dream to Become a Painter When I Grow UpHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 8 years old. I love drawing and painting more than anything else in the whole wide world. That's why I want to tell you all about my big dream for when I'm a grown-up - I'm going to be a famous painter!Ever since I was a tiny little kid, I've always loved coloring and scribbling with crayons and markers. My parents have boxes full of my earliest art hanging on their fridge from when I was just 2 or 3 years old. Back then, I would just make crazy scribbly messes on the paper using every color of the rainbow. But as I got a little older, I started trying to actually draw specific things I could see around me, like my dog Rufus or the flower vase on our kitchen table.Around the time I turned 5, my parents got me my first real artist paints and some nice thick brushes. That's when things really started to get serious with my painting skills! I practiced making my brush strokes nice and neat. I learned how to mix the primary colors to create new shades. And I studied real paintings from famous artists to try to copy their techniques.Nowadays, I'm always begging my parents to take me to the art museum so I can see the incredible paintings on display. My favorite artist is this lady named Georgia O'Keeffe who didamazing close-up paintings of flowers. Her pictures of big beautiful blooms capture all the tiny details so perfectly. I want to be able to paint things with naturalistic detail too when I grow up, just like her.But the style of art I absolutely LOVE the most is Impressionism. You know, those dreamy, romantic paintings with the tiny dabs of color blended together to capture the way light plays across objects? Works by masters like Monet and Renoir just take my breath away. I could get lost for hours in the beautiful ethereal scenes of water lilies and outdoor cafes that shimmer across their canvases. So when I get home from school every day, that's pretty much all I want to do - paint, paint, paint! I throw on one of my dad's old shirts as an art smock to keep from getting too messy. Then I set up my easel and paints in the garage and just lose myself in my own little creative world. Some days I'll try capturing the scenery from a photo or something around the house. Other days I just freestyle abstract designs in my favorite shades. No matter what, it's just pure peace and happiness for me.My biggest role model who inspires me to keep working hard on my painting skills is my uncle Marco. He's an amazingprofessional artist who creates the most photorealistic paintings you've ever seen in your life. Uncle Marco taught himself to paint when he was just a teenager growing up in Italy. After he moved to America, he worked a bunch of jobs to save up money to go to art school. And now in his 40s, he's insanely successful and owns his own art gallery in New York City! Getting to see his masterpieces in person is always the biggest treat.Uncle Marco tells me the most important things are to practice every single day, study the techniques of painters I admire, experiment with all different mediums like oils and watercolors, and most of all - just paint whatever I feel inspired to create from the heart. He swears that if I follow my passion for painting with total dedication while never giving up on my artistic dreams, then without a doubt I too can achieve a fantastic career as a world-renowned painter someday! And that's exactly what I intend to do. My ultimate goal is to become an incredibly skilled master painter who creates breathtakingly beautiful artworks that wow people from every corner of the world. I want my paintings to hang in museums and galleries everywhere so they can bring joy and inspiration to millions over many generations. I hope to make enough money from my art that I can travel the globe, capturing the lushlandscapes and fascinating cultures across every single continent with my brushes and paints. Basically, my dream life is to paint full-time while living a creative adventure!Picturing it now, I can see my future self as a famous painter so clearly in my mind's eye. I'll be one of those cool, eccentric artist types who wears funky hats and colorful scarves while I work. I'll have a huge sunny studio filled with half-finished canvases and the scent of oil paints hanging in the air. I'll split my time between whipping up masterpieces in my studio and seeking inspiration by traveling to exotic destinations to paint. And people from all over planet Earth will be able to enjoy the scenes and emotions I capture with every passionate stroke of my talented hand!So that's my epic life dream - to make painting my career and my whole lifestyle as a celebrated, world-renowned artist. Even though I'm still just a third-grader right now, I'm going to spend every spare minute continuously practicing, studying, and pouring my entire heart into developing my painting skills. I'll never let self-doubt, struggles or setbacks deter me from chasing this grand vision with all my might. Because I absolutely know that if I stay focused, determined and deeply devoted to my greatest passion for painting, then I'M GOING TO MAKE MYARTIST DREAMS COME TRUE NO MATTER WHAT! Just watch me, world - you're going to be wowed by Jamie, the greatest master painter you've ever seen!篇5My Dream to Become an ArtistHi, my name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my biggest dream for the future - I want to be an amazing artist when I grow up! Ever since I was a tiny kid, I've loved drawing, painting, coloring, and creating beautiful artworks. It all started when I was maybe 3 or 4 years old. My parents got me one of those big boxed sets of crayons with like a million colors in it. I remember sitting on the floor surrounded by crayon shavings, just scribbling away for hours on any paper or cardboard I could find. Mom had to keep giving me more and more paper because I'd fill it up so fast! I loved mixing all the colors together and seeing what crazy new shades I could make. Aquamarine and burnt sienna swirled together to make the most perfect brownie batter color. As I got a little older, I started trying to actually draw real things instead of just abstract scribbles. My parents hung all mylittle kid drawings up on the fridge and I was so proud of them! There were lopsided houses, dogs that looked more like seals, extremely sketchy looking trees, you name it. But to me, it was all beautiful art. I poured my heart into every crayon masterpiece. When I started elementary school, art class quickly became my favorite part of the day. I couldn't wait to go in and see what new fun project we'd get to create next. We did all sorts of crafty things - paintings, clay sculptures, paper mache, you name it. And of course, I always gave 100000% effort and made sure my projects were the most detailed, colorful, and creative ones in the class. In 3rd grade, we learned about the famous artists throughout history - Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O'Keeffe, and so many more. Studying their artwork and hearing their stories completely amazed me. I was in total awe that these ordinary people could create such extraordinary, breathtaking masterpieces just using a brush, some paints, and their extraordinary imaginations and talents. That's when I knew, without a doubt, that I wanted to grow up to be just like them someday. Some of my favorite artists that we learned about were the Impressionists, like Claude Monet. His swirly, dreamy paintingsof scenery and nature cast a spell over me. I found myself staring into his works for ages, getting completely lost in the vibrant colors and textures. His paintbrush somehow managed to capture light and movement in a way I'd never seen before. It was like magic! From that point on, I started teaching myself different painting and drawing techniques by watching YouTube tutorials and checking books out from the library. I'd spend my afternoons after school experimenting with watercolors, acrylics, oil pastels, you name it. My bedroom became my own little art studio, with an old hand-me-down easel tucked in the corner and artworks in progress covering every flat surface.Last summer, my parents signed me up for an art camp for kids. This was pretty much a dream come true! For two wonderful weeks, I got to immerse myself in art ALL day, every day. We learned all about color theory, different brush techniques, drawing proportions and perspective, sculpture, mixed media, and more. My frankensteined handmade paints using things like spices, fruit, and dirt looked crazy but were so fun to work with! By the end of camp, my artwork had improved so much and I felt like a true professional artist.Nowadays, I still spend pretty much all my free time drawing, painting, or brainstorming ideas for my next artsy adventures. For my latest project, I've been working on a gigantic mural for my bedroom wall. It's my own interpretation of Starry Night by Van Gogh, but set in space! The night sky is this vibrant swirly galaxy, with shooting stars and alien landscapes scattered throughout. I've been working on it little by little for months now, meticulously filling in every tiny detail and area.My ultimate dream is to have my artwork featured in a famous museum someday, just like all the great artists I admire. Or maybe even to paint something iconic on a massive wall or canvas that the whole world can see! I want millions of people to get a chance to see my creative visions and be transported into the imaginative worlds I've brought to life. If my art can evoke strong emotions in people and help them see the beauty in our world (or an imaginary one) in a new way, then I'll know I've truly made it.For now though, I'm just a 5th grader practicing my craft and following my passion. Who knows where my artistic journey will lead? Maybe I'll be a painter, or an illustrator for books or movies. Maybe I'll get into graphic design or photography. Or maybe I'll even get to put my artistic skills to work as an animator, bringingcartoon characters to life! The possibilities are endless when you're a creative person. No matter what though, one thing is for certain - I'm going to spend the rest of my life making beautiful art and showing it to the world. This isn't just a passing hobby or childhood phase for me. Creating is simply woven into every fiber of my being. I can't imagine myself being or doing anything else! So you can definitely count on seeing my artwork in galleries and museums one day. Just you wait and see!。

我喜欢住在安静的小镇英语作文

我喜欢住在安静的小镇英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1I Love Living in a Quiet Small TownWhen people ask me where I'm from, I proudly tell them the name of my tiny hometown - a place that most have never heard of and can't even pronounce. Rockville, a minuscule speck on the map, nestled in the heart of the countryside. To outsiders, it may seem like an unremarkable, even boring place to grow up. But to me, Rockville is a cherished haven, a place that has shaped who I am and instilled in me values that I will carry forever. In our fast-paced, technologically-driven world, the tranquility of a small town is becoming an increasingly rare commodity. The hustle and bustle of city life, with its endless traffic jams, towering skyscrapers, and crowds of people rushing from one place to the next, can be overwhelming. In Rockville, however, life moves at a more relaxed pace, allowing you to actually stop and smell the roses, as the old saying goes. One of the things I love most about my hometown is the sense of community that pervades every aspect of life here. In aplace where everyone knows everyone, you can't walk down Main Street without exchanging friendly waves and greetings with familiar faces. The local diner, a cherished institution that has been serving up mouth-watering comfort food for generations, is a gathering place where neighbors catch up on the latest news and gossip over cups of steaming coffee.Growing up in Rockville, I was fortunate to experience the kind of childhood that many city kids can only dream of. Instead of being cooped up in a cramped apartment building, I had the luxury of running free through vast, open fields and exploring the winding trails that crisscross the nearby woods. On warm summer evenings, my friends and I would gather in someone's backyard to play games of tag or kickball until the fireflies began to emerge and our parents called us inside for dinner. One of my fondest memories from those carefree days is the annual town fair, a celebration that brought the entire community together for a weekend of wholesome fun. The aroma of freshly-popped kettle corn and sizzling funnel cakes would waft through the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and the whirring of carnival rides. I can still picture the proud grins on my parents' faces as they watched me confidently leading my 4-H club's prize-winning cow around the show ring.Of course, like any small town, Rockville has its quaint quirks and idiosyncrasies. There's the local eccentric who can be seen wandering the streets at all hours, mumbling to himself and waving at invisible companions. Or the long-standing feuds between neighboring families that have been carried on for generations, with no one quite remembering what initially sparked the animosity. But these endearing peculiarities only add to Rockville's charm and character. As I've grown older and ventured out into the wider world, whether for educational pursuits or travel, I've gained a deeper appreciation for the unique upbringing that Rockville afforded me. In the often cutthroat environments of prestigious universities or bustling cities, I've found myself drawing strength from the values that were instilled in me from an early age –values like hard work, integrity, and treating others with kindness and respect. While some may scoff at the idea of willingly choosing to remain in a small town, deriding it as a surefire way to stunt one's personal and professional growth, I beg to differ. The skills and resilience I've developed by being raised in a close-knit, supportive community have proven invaluable time and time again. And at the end of the day, I can't imagine anything moregrounding or fulfilling than returning to the place that will always feel like home.In an increasingly globalized world, where cultures and traditions are becoming homogenized, there is something refreshingly authentic about the way of life in a town like Rockville. Here, age-old customs and values are still upheld and passed down from generation to generation. The local bakery still uses the same secret recipe for its legendary apple pies that it has for over a century. Neighbors still come together to raise funds for those in need or to lend a helping hand after a natural disaster. To me, Rockville represents a link to a simpler, more principled way of living that is rapidly disappearing from our modern society. It is a place where one's word still carries weight, and a firm handshake still seals an unwritten covenant between two people. A place where you can leave your front door unlocked without a second thought, secure in the knowledge that you are part of a tight-knit community that looks out for one another. As I stand on the cusp of adulthood, preparing to venture out into the great unknown of the "real world," I know that a piece of my heart will forever remain in Rockville. No matterwhere life takes me or what challenges and opportunities come my way, I will always carry the lessons and values instilled in me by this remarkable little town. And I can only hope that, someday, I will be able to provide my own children with an upbringing that is equally as enriching and character-building as the one I was so fortunate to experience. So, to anyone who has ever turned up their nose at the thought of life in a small town, I implore you to think again. Beyond the surface perceptions of boredom or provincial narrowness lies a richness of experience and a way of life that is rapidly vanishing from our fast-paced, impersonal modern world. In a quiet little place like Rockville, one can find a sense of community, tradition, and authenticity that is becoming increasingly elusive. And for me, that is something worth cherishing forever.篇2I Like Living in a Quiet TownThere's something incredibly special about growing up in a small, quiet town. While the bright lights and bustling energy of the big city can be alluring, I've always found solace in the slower pace and tight-knit community that defines my hometown. It's aplace where everyone knows your name, where the streets are lined with familiar faces, and where the simple joys of life are cherished above all else.As a kid, I remember the freedom of being able to roam the streets without a care in the world. My friends and I would spend endless summers riding our bikes, exploring the nearby woods, and playing pick-up games of basketball or baseball until the streetlights flickered on. There was a sense of safety and security that came with living in a place where everyone looked out for one another. One of the things I love most about my quiet town is the strong sense of community. It's the kind of place where neighbors aren't just people who live next door, but rather an extended family. Whether it's helping each other with yard work, organizing block parties, or rallying together during times of need, there's an unspoken bond that ties us all together.I'll never forget the annual town festival, a highlight of every summer. The main street would be closed off, and vendors would line the sidewalks, selling everything from homemade baked goods to handcrafted jewelry. The air was filled with the aroma of funnel cakes and the sound of live music drifting from the makeshift stage. It was a time when the entire town cametogether to celebrate our shared heritage and create lasting memories.Beyond the sense of community, there's something incredibly grounding about living in a quiet town. The hustle and bustle of city life can be overwhelming, but here, there's a stillness that allows you to truly appreciate the simple pleasures in life. It's the sound of crickets chirping on a warm summer night, the sight of a stunning sunset painting the sky in vibrant hues, or the feeling of cool grass beneath your bare feet.Of course, growing up in a small town isn't without its challenges. The lack of entertainment options or cultural diversity can sometimes feel stifling, and the rumor mill can be relentless. But for me, the positives have always outweighed the negatives. There's a sense of security and familiarity that comes with knowing your neighbors, walking the same streets your parents and grandparents did, and being part of a community that genuinely cares for one another. As I've grown older, I've come to appreciate the quiet town even more. It's a place where I can escape the chaos of the outside world and find solace in the familiar rhythms of daily life. Whether it's grabbing a cup of coffee at the local diner, taking a leisurely stroll through the park, or simply sitting on the frontporch and watching the world go by, there's a sense of peace and contentment that can't be found anywhere else.Don't get me wrong; I've had my fair share of adventures and have explored different parts of the world. But no matter where I go or what I do, there's always a part of me that longs for the comfort and familiarity of my quiet town. It's the place where I grew up, where I learned the values that have shaped me into the person I am today, and where I know I'll always have a home to return to.In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, my quiet town is a sanctuary – a place where time seems to move a little slower, where the simple pleasures of life are celebrated, and where the bonds of community run deep. It's a place that has shaped me in countless ways, and one that I'll always hold dear to my heart.篇3I Like Living in a Quiet TownWhen people ask me where I'm from, I'm always proud to say I grew up in the small town of Smithville. With a population of only around 5,000 people, it's the quintessential quiet little town. While some might find living in such a place boring orstifling, I have found it to be the perfect environment to grow up in. The peaceful atmosphere, tight-knit community, and slower pace of life have allowed me to really appreciate the simple things.Smithville is nestled in a valley surrounded by gently rolling hills and forests as far as the eye can see. With only a few main streets and no tall buildings to obscure the view, you can look out at any time and take in the natural beauty. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep love and respect for nature. I've spent countless hours hiking the trails, swimming in the creek, and just laying out on the grass watching the clouds drift by. The clean, fresh country air is a welcome reprieve from the smog and pollution of the cities.Because the town is so small, there is very little traffic or noise pollution. At night, it's quiet enough to hear frogs croaking and owls hooting in the distance. The tranquility is incredibly relaxing and makes for a great environment to concentrate on my schoolwork without distractions. Back when I was little, I always slept like a rock. Even now as a teenager, I have no problems drifting off to sleep on most nights. While some complain about the lack of entertainment options in a small town, I've never really felt that way. With thegreat outdoors at my doorstep, I have a vast playground to explore year-round through activities like hiking, fishing, camping, and more. The town itself also has its charms, from the historic movie theater that shows classic films to the annual Founders' Day festival. And let's not forget the Dairy Cream, where everyone goes to grab some ice cream and catch up with friends on summer nights. The simple pleasures are really what it's all about.Of course, the best part about a small town is the wonderful people and sense of community. Smithville is the kind of place where you know just about everyone, and they all know you. You go to school with the same kids from kindergarten through high school graduation. Your parents went to the same schools, shopped at the same stores, and know everyone in town too. It creates this real feeling of belonging, of having roots. When I go into town and walk down Main Street, I always wave and exchange hellos with the familiar faces, like old Mrs. Jenkins who has owned the bakery for as long as anyone can remember. People aren't anonymous strangers like they are in bigger cities, but rather neighbors and friends you've known your whole life. If your family ever hits a rough patch or needs help with something, you can be sure others in the communitywill be there to lend a hand without question. That's just how we look out for one another here.I'll admit, growing up in a small town definitely has its downsides too. With a limited number of shops and restaurants, you don't have as many options or varieties as in a city. If you want to go see a new movie that just came out or attend a major concert, sporting event, or other big attraction, you'll likely have to drive 45 minutes or more to get to the nearest big city. And for all the talk of a quieter life, sometimes the rumor mill and gossip travels fast, although I've learned to take that with a grain of salt. The biggest challenge of small town life has probably been the lack of diversity or opportunities to gain broader cultural perspectives and viewpoints. Pretty much everyone who lives in Smithville looks alike, comes from similar backgrounds, and holds similar beliefs and values. There's a sort of unspoken conformity that can develop in an insulated place like this. While that shared culture breeds a strong sense of community, it also means you don't get exposed to a variety of different ideas, customs, and ways of life like you might in a big city. It can create a bit of an echo chamber effect. With college on the horizon for me soon, I'm really looking forward to spreading my wings and getting my first real taste of life beyond Smithville. I want to experience new things, meet people from all different walks of life, and gain a more worldly perspective. At the same time, I know my small hometown will always have a special place in my heart and that I'll likely want to return and settle down there eventually when I'm older. You see, as excited as I am about future adventures and possibilities, I can't help but feel like life in the big city moves too fast sometimes. There's always this sense of hurry, of chasing after the next thing, without pausing to savor the simple joys found in the quiet moments. That constant noise, crowds, and activity can be overwhelming at times. The suburban sprawl and endless rows ofhouses, businesses, and concrete make it feel artificial, a world disconnected from the natural environment. In contrast, Smithville life is grounded, humble, and graced with an innate sense of calmness. You develop this relationship with the changing seasons, the circadian rhythms of sunrise and sunset, the ebb and flow of each new day lived at nature's pace. It gives you time to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of the world around you. That sort of mindfulness and connection to one's roots is invaluable. So while I enthusiastically embrace all the growth and broadening of horizons that lies ahead, a part of me will forever be that small town kid at heart who loves the familiarity and comforts of home. I like knowing that no matter how much I change and what kinds of experiences shape me from here on out, Smithville will always be there to return to, to be reminded of my core values and the simpler things that truly matter most in life. It's the town and community that made me who I am today.Yes, I like living in a quiet little town. It has allowed me to grow up in a safe, peaceful environment surrounded by natural beauty and wonderful people. The life lessons and strong moral foundation I've built here will stay with me for years to come, helping guide me through whatever future journeys await. So for now, I'll just keep enjoying these final days of my youth spent in my beloved Smithville before I move on to start the next exciting chapter of my story. Who knows, I may even find myself longing to return and raise my own family here someday, carrying on the tradition of small town living for the next generation.。

How life will be like in the next millennium? Many people would have think about it. But different person has different idea. As it is the same, I have my own view on the next millennium.
In my opinion, a thousand years later, there will be great changes in many areas. But, the future will not be utterly foreign, because human nature will not change. Taking education, new electronic equipments and new modes of education will be popularized, such as on line schools. All the revolution, however, will not make the schoolroom obsolete, for the interactions among students and teachers are essential to the students' forming characters. As for computer, it will be used in all kinds of fields to serve us-not control. Blooming virtual society, for instance
e-community, will increase communicating convenience and ways of entertainment. Yet, virtual reality will never make us permanent antisocial shut-ins. Because, being social species, humans have instincts to communicate by face-to-face contact.
All in all, People in the world of 3000, I think, will live in the world in which technology will enrich rather than dominate human lives.。
