五下Unit 6 Work quietly 单元解读一、单元信息二、教材分析本单元学习的主题是询问并回答某人是否正在做某事,以及谈论在一些公共场所的行为规范。

分为主情景图和ABC三个部分。

主情景图本单元学习的主题是询问并回答某人是否正在做某事,以及谈论在一些公共场所的行为规范。

主情景图中通过孩子们分别在教室上课和在餐厅排队的情景,呈现出本单元要学习的核心词汇和句型,及其语用环境,拉开了本单元学习的序幕。

学生通过看图,了解单元话题及相关文化知识,了解核心词汇与句型出现的语用环境,为学习单元A、B部分的各个板块做好准备。

A部分L et's try:本部分通过Mike和陈杰参观动物园时的问答,呈现并帮助学生初步理解动词的现在进行时态,如:The birds are flying. It is running very fast!本部分要求学生听一段包含核心句型的对话,然后根据录音勾出听到的图画,让学生在听觉上初步感知核心句型。

本活动建议和A部分Let's talk在同一课时内进行。

Let's talk:本部分学习的核心句型是:What are they doing? They're eating lunch!What's the little monkey doing?It's playing with its mother!教材通过呈现Mike和陈杰等观看动物园影片的情景,让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。

活动Choose and tell部分要求学生能够根据辅助词表(word bank)自由选择造句,和同桌一起就日常生活中常做且正在做的动作展开问答。

Let's learn:本部分通过Amy和吴一凡谈论陈杰一天的日常生活的情景,呈现了要学习的五个词组doing morning exercises,having class,eating lunch,reading a book,listening to music。

Step 1:Warm up
(1)播放本单元歌曲“School days
(2)引导学生接龙说句子。

S3:They are having an English class. It’s 11:30 a.m. What is Chen Jie doing?

Step 2:Presentation
(1)背景介绍,学习“Let’s talk”部分。

Chen Jie and Mike are at the zoo. They are looking at the animals and talking about what
they are doing.让我们一起学习,有哪些动物都在干什么?
(2)播放“Let’s talk”部分,学习对话。

①学生边听边思考以下问题:
a.What are the pandas doing?
b.What\’s the little monkey doing?
c.What is the elephant doing?
②师生一起核对问题答案。

(3)教师提出重点句子,进行对比分析,让学生理解单复数句子。

学生分析,什么时候用is,什么时候用are。

教师指点,根据画

(4)学生戴上人物头饰,模仿正确的语音语调,进行合作表演对话。

Step 3:Consolidation and extension
(1)巩固复习be动词用法,is为单数be动词,are为复数be
动词,但特殊:I用am,you用are。

(3)完成“Let’s try”部分的听力。

(4)课堂小练习。

Step 4:Homework
有感情地将对话表演出来。
