第一课时

Teaching goals:

Ss master the words about building names and preposition.

Ss can talk about “Is there a …...near here?” and its answer.

Ss have a understanding of the preposition.

Step1: Lead-in.

Do you know the names of buildings in our school? Step2: 1.show some pictures about different buildings in our city.

Remember the building words and preposition words. Reflection:

1.在介词的理解与认识上,应重点强调两个词“on ”和“across

from”, on 虽然简单,但是表示建筑物在哪条街上时,用法比较陌生,而across from 对学生而言则是生词,所以关于这两个词的训

练可以加大一些。

2.在生词的教授上,还是感觉有一些局限,可以适当补充所有出现

在学校的建筑物名称,注重语言的实用性,同时练习的时候可以让学生根据所学进行语言上的输出。

第二课时

Teaching goals:

Ss can master the usge of prepositions.

Ss can get to a place they don’t know by asking others.

Ss can make up their own dialogue .

Teaching Important Points:

Train Ss’ listening skills.

Ss can describe a place they know and can find a place by asking others. Teaching Difficult Points:

Ss can make up a dialogue by using the words they have learned. Teaching Aids:

Teaching Procedures:

Step1: Pre-listening

Look at the pictures in 2a, and say the names of the buildings

and its preposition.

Step2: While-listening

1.Listen and match the sentences with the pictures.
