这类词用来表示某一动作发生的频率，或某一状 态出现的频率，即在一定的时间内动作重复发生 或状态重复出现的次数。

★always
• always 意为“总是”，与进行时态连用 时，可以表示赞扬，也可以表示讨厌 等感情色彩。e.g. • （1）I shall always remember my fir st day at school. 我将永远记住我上 学的第一天。 • （2）He is always smoking. 他总是 抽烟。
类似every day，every weekevery Saturday或on saturdays 等等这样的频度副词短语通常放在句末，也可以放在句首。

Every Saturday，I go to the park. 每个周末，我都去逛公园。 Every Sartuday在这里等于On Sartudays。 因为every本身意思就是“每一”，为单数， 所以不用加s。而on Saturdays指所有的周六， “我”都去逛公园，为复数，所以要加 Saturday词尾要加s。其他短语同理。再比如： On Sundays, I go to the cinema with Jack. =Every Sunday，I go to the cinema with Jack.
★often • often是指经常性的动作，意思 为“常常, 经常”。e.g. • （1）Children don't often do homework. 孩子们经常不写作 业。 • （2）He is often late for sch ool. 他经常上学迟到。
★sometimes
• sometimes意思为“有时，不时”，表示次 数较少（低于often所表达的次数），常常 与一般现在时或一般过去时连用。e.g. • （1）Sometimes he goes to work by bik e, and sometimes he goes by bus. • 有时候他骑自行车上班，有时候他乘公 共汽车上班。 • （2）Sometimes I helped my parents in the house. 有时候我帮助父母做家务。
★usually
• usually可以指通常的动作，但是侧重 已经形成的习惯，它是从已经形成的 角度来说明动作。e.g. • （1）I usually do some shopping wi th my parents on Sundays. 我经常 在星期天和我的父母一起去买东西。 • （2）He usually goes to school by bike. 他通常骑自行车上学。
