As a person who grew up in a multicultural environment, I find traditional English customs fascinating. There are so many unique and interesting customs in England that have been passed down from generation to generation.
One of my favorite traditions is the afternoon tea.
It's a time-honored custom that originated in the 19th century and is still popular today. It's a wonderful way to catch up with friends and family while enjoying a cup of tea and some delicious treats like scones, finger sandwiches, and pastries.
Another interesting tradition is the Morris dance. It's a type of folk dance that is performed by groups of dancers wearing bells, ribbons, and other colorful accessories. The dance is accompanied by live music and is often performed at festivals and other cultural events.
One of the most famous English traditions is the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. It's a ceremony that takes place daily during the summer months and every other day during the winter. It's a spectacular sight to
see the guards in their red tunics and bearskin hats marching in unison.
