摘要：The invention relates to a storage system for storing elongated articles, such as hoses or the like, which can be coiled to a certain coiling radius for the duration of storage. The storage system comprises a combination consisting of a storage unit (5), including holders (10) for receiving especially a particular size of an article (T) to be stored, and a carrier unit (7) whereby the articles (T) are adapted to be moved into contact with the storage unit (5) to be stored on a particular holder (10) or to be removed at least partially from a holder (10). The holders (10) are designed to be substantially cylindrical or the like and adapted to be rotatable around a medial axle (11) included in a preferably horizontal cylindrical element for winding the article (T) around the cylindrical element and vice versa. The carrier unit (7) is adapted to be freely movable on wheels (31) or the like according to an intended application for said carrier unit (7) and includes elements (18) for receiving the article upon a support provided by the carrier unit (7). The storage unit (5) and the carrier unit (7) are provided with mechanisms (14, 19) for providing a locking therebetween especially for the duration of transfer movements of the article (T) between these particular units (5, 7).
