In Toronto in 1976, other disability groups were added and the idea of merging together different disability groups for international sport competitions was born. win:“赢,获胜”,常接的宾语有game, match, race, prize等.如:We won the football match just now. 我们刚才赢了足球比赛。

如:At first I thought he was a good person, but later I found out he was a jerk(混蛋).【易错点】first of all 与at first的意思混淆不清。

【易错点】错用介词。

【考查点】compare…with…与compare…to…的辨析及其被动结构。

compare…with…与compare…to…的区别:compare…with…:“把……和……作比较”,表示同类事物之间具体的比较或对照。

Parents often compare their children with others’. 父母常把自己的孩子同别人的作比较。
