RoHS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
As of the date below, per the "best knowledge" definition below (Note 1), CyOptics certifies:
•RoHS "Prohibited substances" listed below are not intentionally added to CyOptics products and packing material, with the exception of lead (Pb)
where stated below
•Trace element impurity concentrations of the remaining banned substances are less than the RoHS regulatory limits of weight in the homogeneous
material
Note 1: CyOptics' "best knowledge" is based on knowledge of materials and technologies used in subcomponents, and may not include possession of certificates of compliance or materials analysis declarations of all subcomponents from every subcomponent vendor.

CyOptics “5/6” products which contain lead in solders, per exemption 7 (Notes 2, 4):

•R19x family of co-planar 10Gb/s receivers

Note 2: these "5/6" products contain lead-based solders exceeding 0.1% Pb by weight. They
may be eligible for use in qualifying network infrastructure equipment as allowed by the RoHS exemption (7) permitting lead-based solders and as determined by the system vendor. Additional exemptions may also be invoked, as described in Note 4.

Note 3: per the industry-standard nomenclature, “6/6” describes products which do not invoke exemption 7 (allowing lead in solders) but may invoke other exemptions.
Note 4: Lead >0.1% by weight may be present in glass or alloy materials, as allowed by exemptions 13 and 6.
Note 5: Lead >0.1% by weight may be present in isolator RIG mat erial used in A11x and A40x products only, as allowed by exemption 22, but subject to a phase-out plan. Product and customer specific phase-out details are available on request.
