Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This frail vesselthou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with fresh life. This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new.At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable.Thy infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still thou pourest, and still there is room to fill.2当你命令我歌唱的时候,我的心似乎要因着骄傲而炸裂,我仰望着你的脸,眼泪涌上我的眶里。

泰戈尔诗集选——《流萤虫》中英版my fancies are fireflies, — specks of living light winkling in the dark.

the voice of wayside pansies, that do not attract the careless glance, murmurs in these desultory lines.

in the drowsy dark caves of the mind dreams build their nest with fragments dropped from day’s caravan.

spring scatters the petals of flowers that are not for the fruits of the future, but for the moment’s whim.

joy freed from the bond of earth’s slumber rushes into numberless leaves, and dances in the air for a day.

my words that are sl ight may lightly dance upon time’s waves, when my works heavy with import have gone down.

The objects of this hoard are so exquisite that they must not be produced by ordinary craftsmen, in which the wine vessels are similar to those from Liao and the most of jewelries are mainly the Song style melt with Liao’s patterns and techniques some how or they probably made by craftsmen from the Song. The reign dates of the silver ingots are 1116 CE,the sixth year of Zhenghe in the late Song dynasty. Based on the previous archaeological finds and historical records, it is inferred that the owner of these objects is not a Khitan, whose wife is probably a Han people.

1. Oh, my motherland! You are like a bright star in the sky. Just as the star guides the sailors at sea, you guide us in life. Your light shines far and wide, giving us hope and direction. In the darkest of times, we look up to you, just like the lost travelers look for that guiding star.2. My dear homeland! You're a magnificent garden full of diverse flowers. Each region is like a different kind of flower, with its own unique beauty. The bustling cities are like the showy roses, attracting attention with their energy. And the peaceful countryside is like the delicate daisies, quietly spreading their charm. How can one not be in love with such a wonderful "garden"?3. Oh, China! You are a mighty eagle in the world. When it spreads its wings, it shows great power and freedom. Just as the eagle soars above the mountains, you stand tall among the nations. No matter how strong the wind is, the eagle keeps flying, and so do you, facing all challenges bravely.4. My beloved country! You are a warm - hearted mother. You take care of every one of us, just like a mother takes care of herchildren. In times of trouble, you are there to comfort us. When we are hungry, you feed us; when we are cold, you clothe us. Who wouldn't praise such a kind "mother"?5. China, you are a never - ending song. The melody is so beautiful that it touches our hearts. Each historical event is like a note in this song. The great inventions are the high - pitched notes, showing your wisdom; and the stories of unity are the harmonious chords, making the song more complete. Isn't it a song worth singing forever?6. Oh, my motherland! You are a vast ocean. There are countless treasures hidden in you. The different ethnic groups are like the various fish and corals in the ocean. They all live together in harmony, creating a colorful and vibrant world. Just as the ocean is essential to the earth, you are essential to us.7. My great homeland! You are a huge and strong tree. The roots are deeply planted in the land, which represents your long - standing history. The branches are the different industries and fields, reaching out to the sky. And we, the people, are like the leaves on the tree, getting nourishment from you. How could wenot be proud of such a strong "tree"?8. China, you are a brilliant rainbow after the rain. The colors are so vivid and beautiful. Each color can be seen as a different aspect of your development. The red could be your passion for progress; the blue could be your calm and stable development. After every "rain" (difficulty), you always show this amazing "rainbow" of success.9. Oh, my dear motherland! You are like a magic book. Every page is filled with stories and knowledge. The ancient history is the beginning chapters, full of mystery and wisdom. And the modern development is the new pages, showing your continuous growth and innovation. Who wouldn't want to explore this amazing "book"?10. My homeland! You are a powerful locomotive. It's moving forward with great force. The tracks are the development plans, guiding you steadily. The passengers are the people, all going towards a better future with you. How exciting it is to be on this "locomotive"!In conclusion, my motherland, China, is an amazing and multi -faceted place that is worthy of all our praise. It has given us so much and will continue to shine brightly in the world.。
