II. 难句剖析
1. While walking the dog, you were careless and it got loose and was hit by a car.在遛狗的时候,你不小心松了手,结果被一辆汽车撞了。
【经典考点】: 句中while walking the dog=while you were walking the dog.本句中while后面省略了主语you和be动词were. 英语中,由while,when,unless, though, as if, once, even if等引导的时间,条件,方式,让步状语从句中,若从句的主语和主句中的主语一致或从句的主语是it, 且从句谓语含有be动词,可省略从句中的主语和be动词。
While (he was) reading the book, he nodded from time to time. 阅读这本书时,他不时地点头。
I won’t go to her party, even if (I’m) invited. 即使受到邀请我也不去参加她的聚会。

【经典考点】: 本句中包含if引导的宾语从句,从句中的it’s…that…是一个强调句型结构,强调because引导的原因状语从句。
(1) 强调句的结构和用法:
It is/was +被强调部分+that\who+句子的其他部分…is 和was由后面句子时态确定。
e.g: It is Mr. Li who\that teaches us English. 是李老师教我们英语。
(除强调部分是人做主语或宾语时引导词可用who/whom之外,其余一律用that.)
(2) 强调结构的一般疑问句式为:Is/Was+ it +被强调部分+that+其他成分?
e.g: Was it in Beijing that we knew each other? 我们是在北京认识的吗?
(3)强调结构的特殊疑问句式为:特殊疑问词+ -is/was+ it +that+其他成分?
e.g: When was it that he left here? 他是什么时候离开这儿的?
(4)判断一个句子是不是强调句型的方法:把句中的it is/was 和that 去掉,看句子结构是否完整,若完整就是强调句型,否则就不是。

观察下列几组句子中直接引语和间接引语的变化规律,然后加以总结, 如①。
【观察分析】:1. A. He said, “I like it very much.”→He said that he liked it very much.
B. “You don’t tell me about it.” I said to him.
→I told him that he didn’t tell me about it.
2. A. “Are you ready?” The teacher asked Tom.
→T he teacher asked tom if\whether he was ready.
B. He asked Tom, “Were you reading at this time yesterday?”
→H e asked Tom if\whether he was reading at that time the day before.
3. A. She asked me, “Do you like the red or the yellow?”

【总结归纳】:①直接引语是陈述句,变为间接引语时,在多数情况下都构成一个由that 引导的宾语从句,引述动词通常是said等。
如第一组例句。
②直接引语是一般疑问句,变为间接引语时,常将它变成由连词______或
______引导的宾语从句,其主要动词常用______,wonder, want to know等。
如第二组例句。
③直接引语为__________,变为间接引语时,常将它改成由__________引
导的宾语从句。
如第三组例句。
④直接引语为________,变成间接引语时,就将其变成由疑问词引导的宾
语从句。
如第四组例句。
⑤直接引语变间接引语后,人称,时态,指示代词,时间状语,地点状语
等要做相应的变化。
此外,疑问句有直接引语变成间接引语时,原来的疑问语序要变为________________。
注意:*直接引语如果是客观真理,变为间接引语时,时态不变。

Neither\nor+助动词\情态动词\be动词+主语,用在否定句中表示“也不……”

I haven’t been to HongKong, neither has he. 我没有去过香港,他也没去过。
若两个动词的形式不一样时,用so it is with……..或so it is the same with…….
e.g.:---Jane is a good student and works hard. ---So it is with tom.

---汤姆也是一样。
注意:so表示“是的,确实”时,主谓语不倒装。
e.g: ---It is too hot. 天太热了。
