My Thoughts After Watching Mulan
Wow, the movie Mulan was so cool! It was all about this brave girl named Mulan who pretended to be a boy so she could join the army. Her dad was too old and sick to go fight the Huns, so Mulan went instead. She was super scared at first, but she learned how to use a sword and shoot arrows and everything!
The best part was when Mulan had to climb up this really really tall pole with two big weights attached to her arms. All the boy soldiers couldn't do it. But Mulan was so strong and didn't give up, and she made it all the way to the top! I was cheering for her. The other soldiers were so impressed and started to like her more after that.
Then there was this funny dragon sidekick named Mushu. He wasn't a real dragon, but he pretended he was to try to help Mulan. Mushu was always cracking jokes and getting Mulan into trouble accidentally. Like when he started this big fire when they
were camped out! But it was okay because Mulan put out the fire and didn't get caught.
My favorite characters were definitely Mulan and her lucky cricket Cri-Kee though. Cri-Kee was so tiny but so brave! He wasn't scared of anything. And Mulan was just the best - she was tough and fearless but also really kind and smart. She outsmarted the Hun army at the end by causing an avalanche! Girl power!
I felt really sad when Mulan's friends found out she was a girl and they were angry at first. They shouldn't have cared if she was a boy or girl. Mulan fought just as good as they did. I'm glad they realized that in the end and became friends again. The ending was so happy when Mulan returned home a hero!
This movie taught me that girls can do anything boys can do if we try hard and don't give up. We're just as strong, brave, and clever. Mulan went to fight for her family and her country, even though lots of people didn't think she could do it. But she proved them all wrong! If I ever doubt myself, I'll remember Mulan and how she saved China.
I really really loved Mulan and I can't wait to watch it again! I'm going to ask my mom to get me a Mulan doll and dress up like her for Halloween. Mulan is my new favorite princess
because she's not just a pretty face - she's a warrior princess! Girl power rules!

My Thoughts on the Movie Mulan
Hi! My name is Emily and I am 8 years old. Today I'm going to tell you about the movie Mulan that I watched last week. I really really liked it!
Mulan is about a brave girl in ancient China. When the evil Huns invade, one man from every family has to join the army. But Mulan's father is too old and sick to go fight. So Mulan gets an idea - she will dress up like a man and take her father's place in the army! Can you believe it? A girl going to fight as a soldier, pretending to be a boy. That's so crazy!
At first, Mulan is really bad at being a soldier. She can't do any of the training right and the other soldiers make fun of her. But she works super hard and gets a lot better. She makes friends with her dragon guardian Mushu who helps her out. My favorite part is when Mulan becomes the best soldier and is picked to be the hero who stops the Huns!
There is so much action and adventure. Mulan has to climb up a huge snowy mountain and battle the scary Huns on the roof tops. She is so fearless! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. When Mulan finally reveals she is a girl at the end, her friends don't care because they respect her bravery so much. It has a very happy ending when she gets to go home as a hero.
I loved how Mulan didn't listen when people told her she couldn't do things because she was a girl. She worked hard and proved she could be just as good as any man. Girls can be warriors too! The movie shows you should always believe in yourself.
Mulan is my new favorite Disney movie. It's so exciting with great characters and an inspiring message. I can't wait to watch it again! If you haven't seen Mulan yet, you absolutely have to. It will make you feel like you can accomplish anything, no matter what challenges you face. Two thumbs up!

Mulan Movie Reaction Essay
Hi! My name is Emily and I'm 8 years old. I just watched the movie Mulan and I really really liked it! It was so fun and exciting.
Mulan is about a brave girl named Mulan who lived in ancient China. The Hun army was attacking China and the Emperor said one man from each family had to join the army. But Mulan's dad was too old and sick to fight. So Mulan cut her hair short and dressed up like a man so she could take her dad's place in the army!
It was crazy that Mulan could fool everyone into thinking she was a man. She worked so hard and never gave up, even though being a soldier was really difficult for her at first. My favorite part was when she climbed up the pole with the weights while the other soldiers just hung off the sides. That was super impressive!
Mulan made some good friends in the army like Ling, Yao, and Chien-Po. They were all really funny. And her guardian dragon Mushu was hilarious too. He didn't actually breathe fire though, he just used fireworks and tricks. I laughed so hard at his jokes.
The Hun army was really scary, especially their leader Shan Yu. He had weird fur on his head and growled a lot. When the Hun army made it all the way to the Imperial City, I was on the edge of my seat wondering how Mulan could stop them. The battle scenes were epic!
Without giving away the ending, I'll just say Mulan saved the entire country from the Huns by being brave and smart. She's such an inspiring hero. Even though she's a girl, she was tougher than all the male soldiers and did better than any of them.
I loved seeing Mulan's relationships with her family too, especially her dog-friend Little Brother and her grandma who was really funny. Her love story with Li Shang was cute as well. He started off not liking Mulan when she was pretending to be a man, but then he fell for her after she saved his life.
The ending was my favorite part when Mulan chose not to be with the Emperor and went back home instead. She marched in front of him and all the people with her sword raised high while the cute flower petals fell down. So beautiful and empowering!
Overall, I give Mulan 10 out of 10 stars! It teaches that girls can be just as strong and capable as boys. The characters were all engaging, the humor was on point, and the storyline had me hooked the whole time. I'm definitely going to watch Mulan again soon. Thanks for reading my essay!

Mulan is a Really Cool Movie!
Mulan is one of my favorite movies ever! It's about this super brave girl named Mulan who lived in China a long long time ago. Her daddy was in the army and had to go fight the Hun bad guys, but he was too old and sick. So Mulan decided to dress up like a boy and go to war instead of her dad! That was really risky but she was very courageous.
She had to leave her family and her cute little dragon friend Mushu behind. Mushu is so funny and talks a lot. I wish I had a dragon guardian like that! Mulan cut off all her hair and joined the army guys. At first they didn't know she was actually a girl. The guys were really mean to her at the beginning because she wasn't strong enough. But she worked super hard and eventually became a talented soldier.
There was this one guy in the army named Shang who was very good at fighting. He was cute but also really strict with Mulan at first. He made them do lots of tough training like climbing up poles with heavy weights and fighting each other. That looked so hard! Mulan struggled but she never gave up. I was cheering for her the whole time.
The huns were the bad guys trying to take over China. Their leader was this really ugly guy named Shan Yu who didn't have any hair, not even eyebrows or eyelashes! He had yellow eyes
that looked scary. Shan Yu could have beat all the China soldiers easily but then Mulan was brave and started an avalanche that buried him and the Huns in snow. Yay Mulan saved the day!
After that, everybody figured out Mulan was a girl because she took off her soldier clothes. The army people got mad at first but then they all admired how courageous and strong she was. And the cute guy Shang fell in love with her! At the end they got to walk together through the crowd holding hands while flower petals fell all around them. It was such a romantic happy ending!
I really want to be just like the hero Mulan when I grow up. She taught that girls can be just as brave as boys, maybe even braver. You should never judge someone by how they look on the outside. And you have to have faith in yourself and work really hard to make your dreams come true, just like Mulan did. I'm so glad this movie exists to inspire young girls like me. Mulan is my role model!

Mulan is So Cool!
I just saw the movie Mulan and it was the best movie ever! Mulan is so awesome and brave. She is my new hero!
The movie is about a girl named Mulan who lives in ancient China. The Evil Hun army is trying to take over China. Mulan's dad has to go fight in the war but he is too old and sick. So Mulan puts on her dad's armor and goes to join the army instead of him! She cuts off all her hair and pretends to be a boy named Ping so the army will let her join.
At first, Mulan has a hard time because she doesn't know how to fight or be a soldier. The army captain thinks she is weak and wants to send her home. But Mulan works really hard and never gives up. She makes friends with the other soldiers like Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po. Her dragon guardian Mushu helps her too.
Slowly Mulan gets stronger and becomes a talented soldier. She uses her smarts to help defeat the Huns in some really cool battle scenes. Like when they have to get across the mountain ridge, she comes up with the idea to rocket shoot across using weights and canons! She is so clever.
My favorite part is when Mulan defeats the evil Hun leader Shan-Yu all by herself on top of the Imperial palace. He is so big and scary but she is not afraid. She uses his weight against him and disarms him. Then she disrobes and lets her hair down to show she is really a girl! It's an epic girl power moment. You go Mulan!
In the end, the Emperor honors Mulan as a national hero for saving all of China. She didn't have to get married, she could just be herself. I want to be brave and confident like Mulan when I grow up.
This movie has such an inspiring message about believing in yourself, working hard, and staying true to who you are - even if you are different from others. Mulan didn't let anyone stop her from doing the right thing and protecting her family and country. She showed that girls can be just as strong and heroic as any boy.
I loved seeing all the Chinese culture too - the clothing, festivals, ancestors, and values like honor, loyalty and filial piety were so interesting. My favorite was Mushu the funny dragon sidekick. The songs were catchy and the animation was beautiful, especially in the Mulan make-a-man sequence.
Mulan makes me proud to be a girl. I hope I can have her courage and spirit someday. She taught me that I don't have to be what others expect me to be - I can redefine who I am and what I am capable of, just like she did. Anytime I feel doubt or think I can't do something, I'll remember the words from the song - "A girl worth fighting for!" Because girls can do anything, just like Mulan!

Mulan Was The Best Movie Ever!
I just saw the movie Mulan and it was the best movie ever! It was all about this super brave girl named Mulan who pretended to be a boy so she could join the army instead of her old dad. Her dad was too old and sick to go fight the evil Huns who were trying to take over China.
Mulan was so cool! At first, she was really bad at being a soldier. She couldn't do any of the training and her friends in the army made fun of her. But then she became an amazing fighter and she even saved the whole China empire from the bad guy Shan Yu and the Huns! She was like a girl Superman or something.
My favorite part was when Mulan climbed up the pole using just her arm strength and did that crazy kick spinning move. That was so awesome! I also loved Mushu the little dragon who was so funny. He didn't breathe fire but he could crack jokes and give Mulan advice when she needed it.
The songs in Mulan were really catchy too. I've been singing "I'll Make a Man Out of You" and "A Girl Worth Fighting For" all day. The words are kind of hard to understand but the tunes are
so good. I even made up a dance to go along with "I'll Make a Man Out of You"!
At the end when Mulan reveals she's really a girl, I was so worried her friends and the handsome Captain Li Shang wouldn't like her anymore. But they all thought she was a hero instead! Li Shang looked like he had a little crush on Mulan too. I would have been so embarrassed if I had to admit I was a girl after hanging out with a bunch of boy soldiers that whole time!
Overall, I just absolutely loved Mulan. It was an exciting adventure movie but it also taught really good lessons about being brave and true to yourself. I want to grow up to be a fierce warrior princess just like Mulan! My mom and dad better watch out or I might use those cool kung fu moves on them. Just kidding! Maybe. Haha!
Mulan is my new favorite Disney movie. I could probably watch it a hundred times and never get bored. I'm definitely asking for the Mulan doll and lunchbox for my next birthday! Whoever hasn't seen this amazing film yet seriously needs to go watch it right now. I'm telling you, it's that good!。
