A: The tsunami made a large number of people homeless.（海啸导致许多人无家可归）
C:Y es, it was terrible. Thousands of people were killed in the accident.（许多人员伤亡）
B: Well, I think the most terrifying is the nuclear leak in the nuclear power plant.（谈到核泄漏）
D: Why do people build so many nuclear power plants? （为什么人们要建核电站）
A: Energy, it is because of the need of energy. （因为能源缺乏）
C: Nuclear is a kind of dangerous power,I hear that the nuclear radiation is a great threaten to natural environment. （听说核辐射的威胁很大）
B: Y es, as the growth of economic and technology, people consume more energy than before, and there is not enough natural resources to supply for us.（随着经济增长，能源需求越来越大）
D: It is really a terrible thing. Many people were injured by the radiation in the accident. （许多人被辐射）
A:But with the nuclear power plants，we can save a lot of natural resources，such as coal and oil.
C: In my opinion, It all results from the developing of modern high technology, the nuclear technology!
B: I do not think so. It depends how we use the high technology.（不能完全归因于先进技术）
D: People abuse the high technology in all kind of ways to fulfil their greedy desire.
A: But I think it is benefit for people to introduce new technology. The more the better.（越发展越好）
C: I can not agree with you. There are more and more accident caused by new technology nowadays. Such as traffic accident, nuclear radiation and abnormal climate.（越来越的事故是因为先进科技，造成交通问题等）
B: But the high technology also bring us with great convenience.（科技给人们带来了方便）
D: Look at the students! Many of them consume a lot of time in front of computer to play games, or they play with the mobile phone. It is because of the high technology!（学生天天玩电脑，玩手机，是在浪费时间）
A:Obviously, If we do not have mobile phones, cars, computers and so on, what will be in our daily life！
C: That may be one facet of it. The weather become seriously abnormal, there are more flood in many countries and many rare wild animals become extinct.（那仅是一个方面，环境问题，洪灾，动物绝种）
B: Oh, I do not think it is because of the new technology. In the opposite, it indicates the insufficiency of high technology.（那是科技发展不充分的体现）
D: I think the pollution is really a big problem too. With the development of modern industry, the environment is uncomfortable for us. Energy crisis appears due to the endless of exploring of natural resources.
A: Y eah, the high technology makes us more efficient in work, more convenient to communicate. It ca n save a lot of natural resources, too.（先进技术使工作更高效，交流更方便，可以节约自然能源）
C: It appears everything have both two sides, including the new technology! (每件事都有两个方面)
B: Y ou are right. If we have mastered enough technology, and use it in a appropriate way, everything will be Ok. D: Great. In my opinion, the technology is like a double edged sword.（先进科技是一把双刃剑）。
