一、教材分析
1. 单元及课文分析
本单元的日常用语主要围绕游览“丝绸之路〞的话题编排教材为学生提供日常生活中的场景,帮助学习理解并掌握常用的英语表达方式。

在教学过程中,教师应创设情景,引导学生学习。

2. 教学目标

Step 1 Class opening (1 minute)

T: Today we will know another stop along the Silk Road
(课件演示:展示一张“丝绸之路〞的地图,Danny 的团体出现并乘火车到达敦煌。

) Step 2 Learn new words (5 minutes)
T: We see the group again. Where do they arrive
Ss: The group arrives in Dunhuang.
T: So great! This is an amazing city. It’s one of the main stops on the Silk Road. Let’s visit someplace with the group. Oh, Look! There is the Mogao Cave s in the City of Sand s. The group can’t believe it! They are walking on the same road as Marco Polo. It is safe to ride a camel. You will not fall off. Look! Danny and Jenny onto the camels! Yay! This is fun!

Step 3 Listening (6 minutes)
T: After we visit Dunhuang, let’s listen what Li Ming, Jenny and Danny did in detail in Dunhuang Then you will answer questions. Listen and tell true (T) or false
(F). 找学生先读问题,再播放录音,让师友组讨论问题后答复。

Sentences
1〕Grandpa, did people go fishing a long time ago 爷爷,在很久以前人们钓鱼吗?
go fishing 意为“去钓鱼〞,其构成形式为 go+doing
常见的词组还有:go swimming 去游泳; go skiing 去滑雪;
go skating 去滑冰;go climbing mountain 去爬山
2〕At that time, there were no supermarkets. 那时候还没有超市。

at that time 意为“在那时〞,常用于过去时。

例句:At that time, I didn’t know how to turn on the computer. 那时候我还不知道怎样开电脑。

3) They spent a lot of time outdoors. 他们在户外花费很多时间。

spent 意为“度过,花费〞,主语只能是“人〞,
常用结构为:spend+时间/金钱/精力+on sth./(in)doing sth.
例句:I usually spend a lot of time on computer games. 我通常花很多的时间在电脑游戏上。

4〕And they ate good, natural food like fish and vegetables. 他们吃天然美食,比方鱼和蔬菜。

Natural 是形容词,意为“自然的〞,其名词是nature
