A lot of people also like to go swimming in the Yellow River on super hot days. One of my favorite summer traditions is going to watch the dragon boat races for the Duan Wu Festival. These are huge boat races with teams rowing these sleek dragon-shaped boats across the river as everyone cheers them on from the banks. It's so much fun and there are always lots of delicious festival snacks to eat too!Those are some of the best things about my incredible hometown Nanyang!
