from time to time,I felt my heart was pounding with excitement and nervousness.Eventually,it was my turn.Taking a deep breath,I calmed down.Confident,I went to the piano and began to play.Easy,so easy! Fun almost...right up to the coda at the end.I suddenly realized I should not be at the end! My heart jumped to my mouth.I had skipped a part.A huge part. How did that happen?Somehow my brain went to work and I continued playing.I tried to smile at the camera and played the rest smoothly as if no skipping had happened. After what seemed an eternity,I stopped playing. However,it turned out that my performance had probably lasted barely a minute.Surely the result was as expected—I wasn’t the winner. On my way home,I surprised myself by feeling more relieved than disappointed.I could not pretend that my performance was best.In truth, the other three were far superior. When I came back home to talk about “The Big Skip”,Daddy smiled,“It may not have been noticed by someone who doesn’t know Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’.Your movement was smooth. You didn’t fall apart. All in all,a worthwhile experience.”二、No sooner had I picked up my phone than Lisa called me.“Belle, how is it going? Do you still need my help?” Lisa asked.“Thanks,Lisa.Everything is OK.And I’d like to tell you about it,” I said.I told her exactly what had happened, and specifically described how I had solved the problem.Lisa praised me for my quick wit. Then I asked her to teach me German in case I needed it later. She promised.By the end of the holiday,I could have already communicated with her in some simple German words. So I was ready for the new term with confidence. When the German teacher entered the classroom in the new term,I felt I’d seen her somewhere before. What amazed me was that she came over to me,saying,“Glad to see you again!I’m Florence.” I was surprised to find that she was the daughter of the lady that I had helped during the holiday. What a fantastic fate! As our new foreign teacher,Florence was patient and considerate. We all respected her and took every lesson seriously.I even made friends with her mother,so I had more opportunities to practise speaking German.I was resolved to visit Germany the next summer holiday.三、Giving or keeping? I struggled with myself.Giving it? Hardly could I imagine life without the model car! After all,it was my most precious treasure, which I had been proud of.My heart kept aching at the prospect of giving it away.Nope! I shook my head determinedly.Glancing at mymother’s expectant eyes,I couldn’t help sobbing.Keeping it? Definitely,it would otherwise upset Alex.Torn between the two tough choices,I was totally at a loss.Nevertheless, deep down,I could feel my affection for Alex.Yep! I resolved to do the right thing. In the moment of parting,my model car went with Alex.Though I was crushed to see it go,my heart sang when I saw his beaming face as he tightly clutched it.Seeing the thumbsup from my mother and sister,I did swell with relief, pride and joy,for I knew it was not a gift;to some extent,it was our concern and love for him.Plus, sharing the model car also strengthened our bond, which,I was fully convinced, would always uplift him.An effort made for the happiness of others lifted us above ourselves as well.四、Then came the final testing day.The whole class gathered in the science classroom, watching breathlessly as Jeff carefully loaded their selfmade robotic hand onto Sergio’s right arm.It fitted quite well! So excited was Sergio that his arm trembled slightly.Having put a baseball on the desk,Jeff signed to Sergio to pick it up.Slowly,Sergio extended his right hand and reached for the ball.Successfully he caught hold of it and everyone present broke into cheers! Holding the ball,Sergio couldn’t contain his tears.Never in his life did he expect to catch something with his right hand! The lifechanging gift for Sergio drew huge attention.Jeff and his students became an instant hit and various media competed to cover the news. When interviewed about the intention of the project,Jeff said,“I intended Sergio’s robotic hand to show our support for him.Meanwhile,I hope to foster students’ scientific spirit through this handson operation.” His students stated that Jeff challenged them to transform abstract concepts into reality, from which they benefited greatly.Soon voluntary donations poured in,which would go to the school’s scientific research and help students develop better.五、Ruby walked over to my mother,we girls holding our breath. We waited to see who would shout first and what terrible things would be said.“We are sorry about the flowers. The girls will fix them and help weed the roses,” said Mom.My sisters and I looked at each other in horror, but Ruby smiled through her tears.“I know we’re particular about these roses, but they’re very special because they remind me of my mother.”Soon both women were down on their knees examining the damaged bushes together.A few weeks later, the plants all came back to life.My mother and Ruby worked together on the roses all summer and many summers to follow. So did my sisters and I.A friendship was formed between the families.Ruby became part of our family, spending many happy hours at our house, especially during countless birthdays, graduations and weddings. And the rose fence wasn’t a fence any longer. My mother had turned it into a bridge.六、Suddenly,I remembered the door to the basement.I dashed to the door and opened it withoutany hesitation. There she sat on the top step, quiet as a mouse, head down, ears hanging down. She had been following me,as she always did,and I had casually closed the door on her.So she had to wait quietly for me to find her.I don’t know whether she assumed that she was being punished, but it was clear that she was hurt, for she behaved differently this time.I held her in my arms tightly, telling her how sorry I was.I touched her head and rubbed her belly gently, telling her that she was not making trouble. She let me hold her for exactly one minute and then suddenly ran off, returning with a toy for me to throw. At that very moment,Dottie taught me a valuable lesson:Forgive quickly because forgiveness is to light a lamp not just for others but also for ourselves.Life is short. There is so much love to offer and receive and so many toys to chase.。

MASCHINE!MASCHINE is a groove production studio that implements the familiar working style of classi-cal groove boxes along with the advantages of a computer based system. MASCHINE is ideal for making music live, as well as in the studio. It’s the hands-on aspect of a dedicated instru-ment, the MASCHINE hardware controller, united with the advanced editing features of the MASCHINE software.Creating beats is often not very intuitive with a computer, but using the MASCHINE hardware controller to do it makes it easy and fun. You can tap in freely with the pads or use Note Re-peat to jam along. Alternatively, build your beats using the step sequencer just as in classic drum machines.Patterns can be intuitively combined and rearranged on the fly to form larger ideas. You can try out several different versions of a song without ever having to stop the music.Since you can integrate it into any sequencer that supports VST, AU, or AAX plug-ins, you can reap the benefits in almost any software setup, or use it as a stand-alone application. You can sample your own material, slice loops and rearrange them easily. However, MASCHINE is a lot more than an ordinary groovebox or sampler: it comes with an inspiring 7-gigabyte library, and a sophisticated, yet easy to use tag-based Browser to give you instant access to the sounds you are looking for. What’s more, MASCHINE provides lots of options for manipulating your sounds via internal ef-fects and other sound-shaping possibilities. You can also control external MIDI hardware and 3rd-party software with the MASCHINE hardware controller, while customizing the functions of the pads, knobs and buttons according to your needs utilizing the included Controller Editor application. We hope you enjoy this fantastic instrument as much as we do. Now let’s get go-ing!—The MASCHINE team at Native Instruments.MASCHINE Documentation1.1MASCHINE DocumentationNative Instruments provide many information sources regarding MASCHINE. The main docu-ments should be read in the following sequence:1.MASCHINE MIKRO Quick Start Guide: This animated online guide provides a practical ap-proach to help you learn the basic of MASCHINE MIKRO. The guide is available from theNative Instruments website: https:///maschine-mikro-quick-start/2.MASCHINE Manual (this document): The MASCHINE Manual provides you with a compre-hensive description of all MASCHINE software and hardware features.Additional documentation sources provide you with details on more specific topics:►Online Support Videos: You can find a number of support videos on The Official Native In-struments Support Channel under the following URL: https:///NIsupport-EN. We recommend that you follow along with these instructions while the respective ap-plication is running on your computer.Other Online Resources:If you are experiencing problems related to your Native Instruments product that the supplied documentation does not cover, there are several ways of getting help:▪Knowledge Base▪User Forum▪Technical Support▪Registration SupportYou will find more information on these subjects in the chapter Troubleshooting.Document Conventions1.2Document ConventionsThis section introduces you to the signage and text highlighting used in this manual. This man-ual uses particular formatting to point out special facts and to warn you of potential issues. The icons introducing these notes let you see what kind of information is to be expected:This document uses particular formatting to point out special facts and to warn you of poten-tial issues. The icons introducing the following notes let you see what kind of information canbe expected:Furthermore, the following formatting is used:▪Text appearing in (drop-down) menus (such as Open…, Save as… etc.) in the software andpaths to locations on your hard disk or other storage devices is printed in italics.▪Text appearing elsewhere (labels of buttons, controls, text next to checkboxes etc.) in thesoftware is printed in blue. Whenever you see this formatting applied, you will find thesame text appearing somewhere on the screen.▪Text appearing on the displays of the controller is printed in light grey. Whenever you seethis formatting applied, you will find the same text on a controller display.▪Text appearing on labels of the hardware controller is printed in orange. Whenever you seethis formatting applied, you will find the same text on the controller.▪Important names and concepts are printed in bold.▪References to keys on your computer’s keyboard you’ll find put in square brackets (e.g.,“Press [Shift] + [Enter]”).►Single instructions are introduced by this play button type arrow.→Results of actions are introduced by this smaller arrow.Naming ConventionThroughout the documentation we will refer to MASCHINE controller (or just controller) as the hardware controller and MASCHINE software as the software installed on your computer. The term “effect” will sometimes be abbreviated as “FX” when referring to elements in the MA-SCHINE software and hardware. These terms have the same meaning.Button Combinations and Shortcuts on Your ControllerMost instructions will use the “+” sign to indicate buttons (or buttons and pads) that must be pressed simultaneously, starting with the button indicated first. E.g., an instruction such as:“Press SHIFT + PLAY”means:1.Press and hold SHIFT.2.While holding SHIFT, press PLAY and release it.3.Release SHIFT.1.3New Features in MASCHINE2.8The following new features have been added to MASCHINE: Integration▪Browse on , create your own collections of loops and one-shots and send them directly to the MASCHINE browser.Improvements to the Browser▪Samples are now cataloged in separate Loops and One-shots tabs in the Browser.▪Previews of loops selected in the Browser will be played in sync with the current project. When a loop is selected with Prehear turned on, it will begin playing immediately in-sync with the project if transport is running. If a loop preview starts part-way through the loop, the loop will play once more for its full length to ensure you get to hear the entire loop once in context with your project.▪Filters and product selections will be remembered when switching between content types and Factory/User Libraries in the Browser.▪Browser content synchronization between multiple running instances. When running multi-ple instances of MASCHINE, either as Standalone and/or as a plug-in, updates to the Li-brary will be synced across the instances. For example, if you delete a sample from your User Library in one instance, the sample will no longer be present in the other instances.Similarly, if you save a preset in one instance, that preset will then be available in the oth-er instances, too.▪Edits made to samples in the Factory Libraries will be saved to the Standard User Directo-ry.For more information on these new features, refer to the following chapter ↑4, Browser. Improvements to the MASCHINE MIKRO MK3 Controller▪You can now set sample Start and End points using the controller. For more information refer to ↑17.3.1, Using the Edit Page.Improved Support for A-Series Keyboards▪When Browsing with A-Series keyboards, you can now jump quickly to the results list by holding SHIFT and pushing right on the 4D Encoder.▪When Browsing with A-Series keyboards, you can fast scroll through the Browser results list by holding SHIFT and twisting the 4D Encoder.▪Mute and Solo Sounds and Groups from A-Series keyboards. Sounds are muted in TRACK mode while Groups are muted in IDEAS.。

In this era of information overload, accurate and efficient communication has become especially important. I firmly believe that good communication can build bridges between people, playing an indispensable role in academia, career, and daily life. Therefore, I decided to invest my knowledge and skills into creating valuable documents to help people find inspiration and direction when needed.正文:写话我的好朋友教我跆拳道的英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Good Friend Taught Me TaekwondoEver since I was a little kid, I've been fascinated by martial arts. I loved watching kung fu movies and trying to imitate the awesome kicks and punches. Of course, my pathetic attempts atfighting usually just ended up with me kicking the air and punching my pillow. Still, I dreamed of one day becoming a real martial artist, with the skill and discipline to defend myself and others. That dream started to become a reality when I met Jin, my best friend, in the 6th grade. Jin had been practicing taekwondo, a Korean martial art, since he was 5 years old. Even at 11 years old, he was already a red belt and could do all kinds of incredible moves. The first time I saw him demonstrate a flying kick, I was in awe. How could someone so young have that kind of athleticism and power?Jin and I hit it off right away, bonding over our shared love of video games and trick yo-yo skills. But I also constantly peppered him with questions about taekwondo. What did the different belts mean? How did he learn to kick so high? Did he ever get to break wooden boards? Jin was always patient with my endless curiosity, explaining the history and philosophy behind the martial art. After months of me badgering him, Jin finally agreed to teach me some basic taekwondo moves and forms. We'd go to the park after school and he'd run me through warmups and stances. At first, I could barely hold a horse stance for 30 secondswithout my thighs burning like crazy. Doing simple punch combinations made my shoulders ache. But Jin encouraged me to keep practicing, reminding me that martial arts were as much about discipline as physical ability.Slowly but surely, I started improving. The stances became more natural, and I could make it through warmups without feeling like I was going to die. Jin taught me my first form, a series of blocks, kicks, and strikes choreographed into a pattern. It was incredibly difficult to memorize and execute with proper technique. But Jin's coaching and my stubborn refusal to give up ultimately helped me nail it.Once I had demonstrated proficiency with that first form, Jin introduced me to practice sparring. We'd put on padding and protective gear, then take turns attacking and defending. Those first few sessions were pretty one-sided, with Jin scoring hits on me over and over while I flailed around wildly. But sparring was incredible practice for reflexes, distancing, and reacting to unpredictable attacks. With each session, I got a tiny bit better at blocking, slipping, and countering Jin's strikes.By the start of 8th grade, I was finally ready to join the taekwondo school where Jin had been training since he was a kid. With my friend by my side, I stepped onto the mats for my firstreal class, equal parts excited and terrified. The instructor was incredibly strict, barking out orders in Korean and demanding perfect form and attention. But having Jin as my training partner made the transition so much easier. He helped me learn the etiquette, customs, andTerminologyTerminology of the dojang.Over the next few years, Jin and I became taekwondo brothers, coming up through the ranks together. We spent countless hours practicing forms, conditioning exercises, and sparring drills. There was something special about having a close friend also be your practice partner. We could give each other honest feedback without hurt feelings. We pushed each other to work harder and improve. And we helped keep each other's spirits up when the grind of mastering new techniques got frustrating. Some of my favorite memories from that time were the moments of celebration when one of us would test for our next belt rank. In taekwondo, you have to demonstrate your skills and knowledge by performing forms, breaking boards, and sparring for a panel of judges. It's incredibly stressful but so rewarding when they call out your name and award you a new belt.I'll never forget the time Jin and I both tested for our black belts on the same day. We had been training so intensively formonths, going over every possible detail and scenario. When they read our names and tied those black belts around our waists, it was the culmination of over 7 years of hard work and dedication. I gave Jin a gigantic hug, trying not to cry from the overwhelming pride and sense of achievement. All those grueling hours of practice and pushing each other were worth it in that moment.Throughout high school, taekwondo was my passion and refuge. No matter how stressful classes, social drama, or family issues got, I could always hit the mats and find peace through martial arts practice. Performing forms and getting some healthy aggression out through sparring was incredibly therapeutic. And Jin was my constant companion through it all, my friend and training partner.Even after we graduated high school and went our separate ways for college, taekwondo remained a major part of our lives. We'd get together over breaks to train and catch up. No matter how long it had been, we could always pick up our old rhythms and patterns together. Our bond was forged through countless hours of sweat, discipline, and shared pursuit of greatness. Now, over 10 years after Jin first stepped onto the mats as a 5-year-old kid, he's getting ready to test for his 4th degree blackbelt. I'm incredibly proud of him for sticking with taekwondo through adolescence, college, and adulthood. His commitment and passion for the martial art is truly inspiring. I've decided to test for my 3rd degree black belt around the same time, so we can once again share that accomplishment together as lifelong friends.Looking back, I'm so grateful that my good friend Jin taught me taekwondo all those years ago. It's been so much more than just learning kicks and punches. Taekwondo has given me confidence, discipline, stress relief, and an unwavering friendship. Jin pushed me to challenge myself, to respect the journey of martial arts mastery, and to never give up when things got difficult. The lessons I've learned on and off the mats have shaped me into the person I am today. So thanks, Jin, for taking that hyper, kung fu movie-obsessed kid under your wing and introducing me to the way of the foot and fist. You'll always be my taekwondo brother, and our bond forged through this incredible martial art will last a lifetime.篇2My Best Friend Taught Me TaekwondoI'll never forget the day my best friend Danny introduced me to taekwondo. It was a hot summer afternoon and we were hanging out at the park bored out of our minds. Danny had been taking taekwondo lessons for a few years already and was really good at it. I had seen some of the kicks and moves he could do and it looked so cool."Hey, you want to learn some taekwondo?" Danny asked out of the blue. My eyes lit up at the invitation."For real? You'd teach me? That would be awesome!" I excitedly replied. Danny smiled and stood up, motioning for me to join him on the grass. And just like that, my journey into the world of taekwondo began. At first, Danny went over some of the basic stances with me - things like ap-sogui, ap-goguryo-sogui, and ap-seogi. I felt pretty silly trying to hold these tight, focused stances but Danny was patient and kept correcting my foot positioning and weight distribution."Solid stances are the foundation for everything in taekwondo," he explained. "You have to nail these before we can move on."Once I got my stances down somewhat decently, Danny started teaching me some basic hand strikes like an ap-joomuk and a baro joomuk. Throwing punches didn't feel too unnatural but Danny insisted I tuck in my thumbs so I didn't break them on impact. He also drilled into me the importance of making loud kihaps (yelling from the diaphragm) when executing techniques to focus power and breath control. From hand strikes we progressed to basic blocks like anap-makgi, olgul-makgi, and momtong-bakkat-palmok-makgi. Memorizing all the Korean terminology was tough at first but Danny explained what each one meant in English so it slowly started making sense. Blocks felt awkward and kind of silly when Danny first had me practicing them, but he assured me they would become more natural over time. Finally, after a couple weeks of going over basics, Danny started teaching me my first kicking techniques. This was the part I had been most eager for - I loved the idea of being able to do flashy kicks like Danny could. We started with some basic introduction kicks like an ap-chagi, ap-cha-olligi, and dwit-chagi. Danny made me practice each kick slowly at first, with him holding a kicking pad in place for me. My kicks felt sloppy and uncoordinated compared to Danny's but he just said "Don'tworry, it takes a ton of practice to get your flexibility and technique down. You're doing great so far."As the weeks went on, Danny started incorporating more dynamic kicking combinations and fancier techniques for me to try, like dwit-chagi, bandal-chagi, and tornado kicks. I never knew how incredibly physical and demanding taekwondo practice could be. There were many times when my legs felt like jello and I was completely gassed just from going through kicking drills and sets. But no matter how tired I was, Danny wouldn't let me slack off."Pain is temporary, but the black belt is forever," he would say, channeling the mantra of our taekwondo instructor. In addition to all the physical training of strikes, blocks, kicks, and combinations, Danny also made sure to teach me about the philosophy and mental discipline behind taekwondo. We would sit and meditate before practice, working on breath control and clearing our minds. Danny explained how having an indomitable spirit, living with humility, and never misusing taekwondo skills for anything other than self-defense were core tenets of the martial art. After several grueling months of regular park training sessions with Danny, I finally felt I had developed a solid base ofskills in taekwondo. My stamina, flexibility and technique had come a very long way, even if I still had so much more to learn. Danny told me I was ready to start taking actual classes at the taekwondo dojang where he trained. I was both excited and nervous to officially join the school. My first day at the dojang was incredibly intimidating. The senior students and black belts looked so skilled and powerful as they went through their forms and sparring. I felt like the smallest fish in a very big pond. But Danny stuck by my side, introducing me to the instructors and helping me get settled into the beginner's class. Having Danny there as my friend and mentor made me feel much more at ease.In the years since then, Danny and I have continued training together at the dojang, pushing each other to get better with every class. He's now a brown belt, well on his way to becoming a black belt himself. I'm just a green belt still with so much more to learn, but I know I never would have come this far without Danny's patient guidance and friendship.Looking back, I'm so grateful Danny took the time that summer day in the park to introduce the art of taekwondo to me. It's brought us even closer as best friends, given me incredible confidence and discipline, and taught me self-defense skills Ihope I'll never need to use. But most importantly, taekwondo has shown me that with perseverance, grit and the support of great friends, you can accomplish amazing things you never thought possible.篇3My Best Friend Taught Me TaekwondoIt all started one day after school when my best friend Sam invited me over to his house. I didn't know it at the time, but that simple invitation would lead to me discovering a passion and dedication for a sport that would become a huge part of my life - Taekwondo. When I arrived at Sam's, he was bouncing around energetically in his backyard, throwing kicks and punches at the air. I stood there bewildered, my backpack slung over one shoulder."What are you doing?" I asked with a confused chuckle.Sam grinned widely, sweat beading on his forehead. "Practicing my Taekwondo forms! You've got to see this, it's so cool."Taekwondo was something I had heard of before but didn't know much about beyond it being some kind of martial art. As Sam went through the motions, punching, kicking, yelling out with each movement, I was transfixed. The discipline, the power, the aesthetics of it all were mesmerizing."That looks awesome!" I admitted once he had finished. "You'll have to teach me sometime."Little did I know that Sam would take that request literally. The very next day, he showed up at my house in his flat-fronted pants and a crisp white uniform top, grinning from ear to ear."Get changed! I'm going to teach you Taekwondo."That first lesson involved Sam showing me the most basic stances and blocks. We practiced simple punching and kicking combinations over and over again in my backyard until I thought my muscles would give out. But I didn't care - I was hooked.Sam became a strict but effective teacher, pushing me to give my all and holding me accountable when I slacked off. He would show up at my house with fresh cut targets to hold up for me to practice kicking and punching, never letting me take the easy way out."Eyes up! Stance lower! Put your hip into it!" he would shout as I worked through the basic forms and techniques. Sweat would pour off me, my legs would shake from exhaustion, but I kept pushing because I didn't want to let Sam down.As the weeks and months went by, I progressed more and more rapidly under Sam's tutelage. We would head to the park to practice walking stances, sprinting back and forth as Sam critiqued my arm and leg positioning. We bought boxing gloves and padded foot covers to spar, taking turns holding targets and pads for each other to strike. My endurance, flexibility, and overall strength improved dramatically. But just as importantly, so did my discipline, focus, and respect for the art of Taekwondo. Sam instilled in me the core tenets and principles, teaching me not just the physical skills but the mental ones too."Taekwondo is as much a philosophy as it is a martial art," he would say, wrapping my hands to prevent burns from all the repetitive striking. "It's about more than just learning to fight. It's about learning to take impacts in life and keep pushing forward, with integrity and an indomitable spirit."With each lesson, I felt myself improving bit by bit, hungering to get better. I would imagine myself performing attournaments, showing off my kaleidoscopic array of kicks and strikes with robotic precision. Sam helped me set goals to work towards and cheered me on like the invested coach he had become. After several months of consistent backyard training sessions, I finally worked up the courage to ask the question that had been nagging at the back of my mind."Sam...do you think I'm ready to start taking actual Taekwondo classes? At a real dojang?"He studied me carefully for a moment before breaking out into a proud smile. "You know what? I really do. I've taken you as far as I can as your teacher. It's time for you to learn from the professionals."With Sam's blessing, I signed up for my first official Taekwondo program at our local martial arts academy. Walking into the dojang on that first evening, clad in my pristine new uniform with my白帶(white belt) tied tightly around my waist, I felt waves of nervous anticipation. But I also felt ready, prepared by the many lessons Sam had drilled into me so diligently. The classes were challenging, pushing me out of my comfort zone with advanced kicking and striking combinations, throws, grappling, and overhead strikes that Sam and I had not covered much in our backyard sessions. My new instructors were intense, their piercing eyes scrutinizing every subtle motion of my blocks and stances. But I drank it all in, relishing the chance to take my Taekwondo journey to the next level. As the weeks and months progressed, I found my endurance, discipline, and technical prowess elevating exponentially under the tutelage of the trained masters and instructors. I practiced diligently, spending hours watching video lessons and drilling the same combinations over and over in my room at night. At last, the day came for my first belt test - the opportunity to earn my first coloured belt and progress along the belt ranking system. It was an intense experience, being watched like a hawk by the unsmiling panel of black belt instructors as I performed all my forms, strikes, blocks and required combinations in rapid succession. When it was over, I could barely stand from exhaustion. But the hard work paid off - I received my yellow belt.I can still remember the immense sense of pride I felt looking at that belt, my first tangible sign of progress in this new passionof mine. I couldn't wait to show Sam, knowing he would be just as proud of me as I was of myself.Sure enough, when I showed him the belt, Sam's grin stretched from ear to ear. "I knew you could do it! I'm so proud of you, buddy."We celebrated by getting ice cream and talking all about my Taekwondo journey so far. Sam had played such a pivotal role in getting me to that point. If not for his initial invitation into his backyard and his dedicated self-taught lessons, who knows if I would have ever discovered Taekwondo at all? This ancient martial art was becoming my passion, my obsession, my way of centering myself and growing as a person. And it was all thanks to my best friend. The belt tests kept coming, each one more gruelling than the last. Every few months, I found myself performing in front of the panel of harsh-eyed judges, my muscles straining and burning as I worked through form after form under their scrutiny. Some tests I passed with ease, earning my new belt. Others were agonizingly difficult, and I had to wait and retest again in a couple months. But I never gave up, never got discouraged. Sam was there every step of the way, letting me practice my forms on him andholding targets for me to strike. He never stopped being my coach, seamlessly integrating as my training partner alongside my formal Taekwondo classes. Finally, after years of dedicated hard work and perseverance, it was time for the biggest belt test of all - the one to earn me the coveted 黒帶色(black belt). This test was by far the most comprehensive and demanding of any exam I had taken before. It lasted a gruelling four hours, drilling me on every single aspect of my Taekwondo training from stances to strikes, blocks to grappling, form memorization to choreographed sparring. My body was drenched in sweat, my muscles feeling like jelly by the time the panel of black belt masters called for the test to stop.I don't know how, but I passed. I can still remember the immense wave of relief, pride, and accomplishment crashing over me when the head master called my name and awarded me with that sleek new black belt.I immediately rushed out of the dojang and called Sam, breathless with excitement."I did it! I finally earned my black belt!"His joyful whoop of pride and congratulations on the other end of the line is something I'll never forget. When I think about everything Taekwondo has given me - incredible physical fitness, unshakable discipline and focus, deeper confidence and self-respect - I can't help but look back on that fateful day Sam first showed me those kicking forms in his backyard. My best friend, my first true Taekwondo trainer and mentor, set me on this path of passion and growth. To this day, I continue to train and practice religiously, always working to elevate my skills and get my next belt, my next accomplishment under the ever-watchful eyes of my Taekwondo masters. And no matter how far I go, I'll never forget that it all started with my best friend choosing to share his love of the martial arts with me, and selflessly teaching me those first foundational lessons in his own backyard. Thanks to Sam, I discovered Taek。

Though more and more companies built, management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China, so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England. The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of Chinas new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl,it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures, and meetingthe varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant, helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I,also, would someday be able to enter the realm of business. With the time of growing up,I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly. As a high school student in China, I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE),even so,books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June, 20__, I was so nervous that I didnt score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms, I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment, I lost my direction and objectives. My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American, and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting:Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties? With the questions in my mind, I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book Jack:Straight from the Gutby Jack Welch,in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that themanagement is important for a company. When I was a junior,I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this, my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed, definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December,20__,I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT.To accumulate more relevant knowledge, I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies. Fortunately, as a senior, I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months, I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system, which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation, I continued my work in this company. In May, 20__, the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes, they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned. During the short period of training, I realized that pursuing a higher degree in management is a wise choice for me now. Lancaster, with its excellence in management, represents the perfect fit for my needs. In your challenging environment,I can build therequired foundation of knowledge related to management to achieve my goals. I am firmly convinced that your admission will be my first step of success. With this in mind, I hereby submit my application, and await your favorable reply.学期英文留学申请书范文三Dear Sir,I am writing in the hope that I may obtain an opportunity to further my study in Applied Physics toward Master degree in your university. My name is Li Jin, an undergraduate student of the Department of Applied Physics, Huabei University. The unknowing recipient of my undying love for two years, Tim had been everything a girl could ever ask for: smart, handsome, witty, and athletic, with a voice that could make angels weep. Everyone knew his name. To a shy little country mouse, nearly invisible in our student body, he was the epitomeof manliness. I sat in my corner of room C-119 and gazed adoringly at his profile as he amazed the class of Modern World History with his dashing style. Carefully planning the routes to my classes to coincide with his, I was his silent shadow. After fourteen months, contrary to my hopes, Tim still was not aware of my existence. Determined to bring myself to his attention, I staged my entrance to his heart with all the flair I could muster. I would breach his defenses at the next history oral presentation in the guise of the dashing Cardinal Richelieu. It was now or never! Striding into the classroom, my head raised, eyes flashing, I stood proudly, the colors of my eighteenth-century costume catching the light and giving me courage. My opening line shook with tight emotion. "Gentlemen, I am disgusted!" My voice alternately lashed out in rage and purred in soft persuasion. I gloried in my elocution. Each word was power. My voice rose to a brilliant conclusion, and I stood with my arms outstretched and my head bowed in submission.学期英文留学申请书范文五Dead silence. My left knee trembled uncontrollably. Why did no one speak? My hands began to shake so I pulled them behind me-like one condemned. My eyes gauged the distance to the door. Then someone began to clap. More joined in. Tim looked into my eyes and smiled. He smiled!Joy, oh joy. My soul overflowed with rapture. I had done it! He noticed me! All the shame, all the worry, and all the castigation melted away in that moment. I knew how to make him love me. I simply had to speak better, sing better, act better, and write better than anyone else. Determined, I joined competitions, played in concerts, and wrote essays that wereread in class. When Tim transferred to the A.P. class, so did I. I threw myself into class discussions, attempting to dazzle him with my intelligence and intrepidity. Making friends with his friends, I dogged his steps. The next summer Tim moved away. I never heard from him again. But the transformation in me had taken place. Now I was involved for the simple pleasure of being involved. Challenging people surrounded me. Biff taught me to love. Dave taught me to laugh. Ramez taught me to break my limits. Alit gave me confidence. Whenever I was in danger of reverting to a wallflower, one of my new friends would drag me into another club or activity.。
