本课内容为新目标英语Go for it!九年级英语unit 6 Section B的阅读篇章,主要讲解篮球的发明、发展情况,话题贴近生活,能激发学生的学习兴趣。

通过本节课的学习能进一步掌握一般过去时被动语态的结构。

让学生通过阅读,能喜欢篮球,热爱运动,热爱生活。

教学重难点在于让学生学会用一般过去时的被动语态对事物进行描述,并能感知、理解、掌握课文内容,完成每个层次的阅读任务,并能用自己的话来表达自己的感受。

英语课堂教学是初中生学习英语的主要渠道,如果教师不遵循语言教学规律,全面贯彻英语教学原则,教法单一呆板,只注重知识传授,不注意能力培养,只注重讲解,不注重实践,这与“新课标英语教学知识建构主义”的理念是不相符的。

根据新课标的课改要求,开课杨老师通过与学生口头问答的形式引出话题;然后通过游戏情景设置,观看视频等,激发了学生学习的兴趣。

接着分别设置了读前-读中-读后不同层次的阅读任务,让学生学习和掌握速读、细读等不同的阅读方法,在阅读活动课中,对本课重点词汇和短语进行了处理,进行了适当的阅读方法的指导,为学生的阅读提供语言材料,减轻阅读难度。

在阅读活动中将学生分成小组,引入竞争机制,引导他们围绕着阅读任务分工合作交流。

在学习活动中还通过一系列的听说读写活动,培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的思维能力和提高他们的阅读水平。

本节课做得好的地方:1.游戏设置和视频导入较大地激发了学生学习兴趣。

2.所设置的任务活动符合阅读课的要求,围绕任务活动对学生进行跳读、快读、细读等阅读技巧的训练。

3.教学目标明确、教学思路清晰、教学各环节过渡自然。

4.最后出示格言谚语,引导学生热爱运动,热爱生活。
