In my humble opinion, it‟s evident that reviewing all the time is far from satisfactory. We are obliged to find a more effective way to study.
To begin with, I consider it necessary to practise extra exercises. As the saying goes “Practice makes perfect”, cultivating a habit of practising diligently is of great value. As a matter of fact, sticking to doing exercises after school assists me to make a breakthrough.
Furthermore, not only can we do exercises but also we can turn to friends and teachers for help. It does help me to clear up the majority of the obstacles in learning. I have a strong belief that if we fix our attention on learning in that way, we‟ll make great progress in studies.
Perhaps the endurance and perseverance are the keys to improving ourselves. So make your first move and try to follow my advice, and you‟ll be the winner of life. (185 words)

There is a more and more phenomenon in society that a great number of families raise dogs. When I am walking along the street, I usually see a person is waking a dog in the street or in the park. What a harmonious picture it is! But walking dogs also leads to some environmental problems. For instance, people with no environmental awareness often leave the dirty things dogs make behind in the park or on the streets, which leaves a negative influence of our city‟s appearance.
Therefore, I hold the view that when people are walking dogs, please be responsible for the environment around at the same time. Only in this way can we lead a harmonious and happy life with our dogs.

Guided Writing: (One possible version)
In recent years there has appeared such a phenomenon. Some students pass the College Entrance Examination and get enrolled in some colleges, but they don‟t attend them. Instead, they choose to return to senior high schools to study so as to get a better mark the next year.
Different people hold different attitudes towards the phenomenon. Some think it is worthwhile for them to learn for another year in order to be admitted to a better university. But in my opinion, this is not a wise decision or even it‟s a risky business to do so. Firstly, they will waist a lot of precious opportunities that are pursued by their fellow students. Secondly, the colleges they applied for may not get enough students as scheduled. Thirdly, it is obviously a waist of time and money for those students. Last but not least, chances are that they will fail the exam the next year.
Taking into account all these factors, it‟s no use spending another year on what we have learned.
