When Jason and his elder sister Jamie walked closer to the car, they were worried: their dad was pinned(固定的)under the car, and he couldn’t even take a full breath!
One hour ago, their father was repairing their mum Brenda’s car. He used a forklift(叉车,铲车) to raise the car. When he was under it, the front tires (轮胎) of the car rolled forward off the forks, and he was pinned under the car. Jamie ran into the house and told her mother to call 911. They also tried to lift the car, but failed. Jamie screamed and Brenda cried. Jason had driven the forklift only once before, and he nearly smashed (撞击) it into another car. Ever since, he was afraid of driving it. But in order to save his father, Jason didn’t think too much. He climbed on and started it up. The first time, Jason failed to lift the car up.
