英语作为一门语言类的学科,其存在的价值和意义并非只具有进行口语交际、完成相关的交流活动等作用,通过应用英语语言对于人文价值和思想品德的熏陶,也是贯彻在小学英语教学课本当中的一大主题,所以,在立足于主题情景的背景之下,对学生进行单元式的统整教学,能够帮助学生更好地体悟单元内容背后蕴藏的人文价值,实现素质教育观念对于小学英语教学课堂的要求。
一、小学英语教学现状(一)教学效率低下如今的小学英语课堂教学虽然受到新课标教学要求的影响,但是在实际的教学过程当中,教学效率普遍处于一种低下的状态。
据调查和研究表明,在实际的英语教学过程当中,教师由于对于小学阶段学生的学习水平和学习状态的认知错误,所设计的教学环节并不符合学生在这一小学阶段对于相关英语知识的学习诉求,于是,学生在这种教学环境当中开展的相关学习活动就变得格外费力,而教师又由于缺少与学生之间的关联,仅把学生的考试成绩作为教学目标的评判标准,对于自身实际的教学环节也没有一种有力的干预和调整措施,久而久之就导致了英语实际的教学课程的教学效率越来越低下,教师与学生出现一种分离的状态。
