所有的院系都有自己的图书馆，学院在南 肯星顿校区还有一个中心图书馆，其中包 含了科学博物馆的图书馆，面向登记的公 众开放。中心图书馆，24小时开放，每周 五晚23点关闭进行打扫，周六上午11点重 新开放。

All departments have their own library,school in South Kensington campus and a central library,which contains the science museum library,open to the public for registration.The central library,open 24 hours a day,every Friday night 23：00closed for cleaning,11 on Saturday moring to open.
◦ Imperial is an open university,composed of numerous scattered campuses,but most colleges in the South Kensington campus,located in the south of London have long enjoyed a good reputation of Hyde Park and the Royal Albert hall in London side,Xi Min temple and Chelsea area at the junction,an academic institution intensive regrsity lmperial College London

◦ 帝国理工学院（Imperial Collage）成立于1907年，曾是联 邦大学伦敦大学的一个加盟学院。2007年7月正式脱离伦敦大 学成为一所独立的大学，简称帝国理工，也称伦敦帝国学院， 罗素大学集团成员之一。帝国理工学院与牛津大学、剑桥大学、 伦敦政治经济学院、伦敦大学学院并成为“G5”精英大学。 “G5”精英大学，代表着英国大学的最高学术水平。作为一 个专精于科学技术和医学的大学，帝国理工和麻省理工在全世 界享有同等的声誉，研究水平被公认为是英国大学的三甲之列。
