1.Ｗarm-up
Sing a song
Spelling game: Spell the words in teams
2.presentation
Set a scene. This is the weather report on TV. Please listen carefully and remember What is the weather like in each city?
Beijing-------Sunny, warm Shanghai----- Rainy, cool
Hainan-----Fine, hot Nanjing-----rainy, cool
Hefei------windy, cold Haerbin-----Snowy, cold
Present the flashcard for sunny cloudy rainy snowy fine windy weather report
cloud rain snow wind ride and Have the children read after to you.
3.Production:
Present some pictures and Have them to describe it in English. For example:
Today is Monday. It’s Sunny. I go to the zoo.
Today is Tuesday. It’s Cloudy. I go to school.
4.Practice:
Direct the childre n’s attention to the pictures at the bottom of the page 52.Have the children talk about the picture in pairs.
Explain to the children that they will hear a sentence on the tape and they must number the pictures.
5.Let’s sing
Explain to the children that they are going to learn a song about the weather.
Have the children look at the pictures. Ask them questions: “ What can you see in the pictures?〞“ Are they happy?〞“ Why?〞
Play the song and have the children touch the words as they listen.
Practice read and sing the song.
Listen and repeat the words at page52.
Copy the new words.
