Lesson Plan
Objective: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to use the present continuous tense to talk about actions happening at the moment of speaking.
Materials:
- Whiteboard and markers
- Worksheets
Warm-up (5 minutes):
- The teacher starts the lesson by asking the students how they are feeling at the moment. For example, "How are you feeling right now?"
- The teacher writes the question on the board and elicits responses from the students.
Presentation (10 minutes):
- The teacher introduces the present continuous tense and its usage. For example, "We use the present continuous tense to talk about actions happening at the moment of speaking."
- The teacher writes examples on the board, such as "I am eating lunch" and "They are playing soccer."
Practice (15 minutes):

- The teacher assigns homework for the students to practice using the present continuous tense. For example, they may be asked to write five sentences describing what they and their family members are doing at home.
