【教学重点】能够运用There is ….句型来描述某地有某物。
【教学难点】正确读出并理解短语:over there。
1. 课前准备：调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等；2. 教具学具：光盘、大卡片等。
Step1. Warm-up1. 展示前一模块所学的句子，请学生说出句子。
教师指着单元插图问学生：how many animals can you see? 学生或许还不能回答问题由此导入活动一。
2. 教师告诉学生今天我们要观察图片，用there be句型熟悉图片内容。
开始之前，我们先学习课文，看看如何使用这一句型。

there后面要+is或者are，is后面跟着单数，ar e后面跟着复数。
There is a tiger in the tree. There are is two tigers in the tree.老师指出the re is/are 意思是“有，存在”，in tree 表示在树丛之中。
类似的方式，老师询问学生How many elephants are there under the tree?老师在过程中，指出under是在什么下面的意思。
