课文讲解
1. I don’t like this pair anymore.
anymore 副词用于否定句中，再也不…
I don’t do it anymore. 我再也不做它了。

not…any more 不再；再也不……
no more不再；再也不……
not any longer 不再；再也不……
no longer不再；再也不……
他们均有不再的意思，前两者通常强调数量的不再增加，后两者强调时间的不再延续。

例如：
I have no more money. 我没有更多的钱了。

I don’t have money any more. He is no longer a student. 他不再是学生了。

He isn’t a student any longer.
典例1
The little girl _______ late for school anymore.
A. is
B. isn’t
C. aren’t
D. doesn’t
解析： B be late for school 上学迟到，anymore 副词用于否定句中，故选B。

句意：那个小女孩不再上学迟到了。

同意句He doesn’t have his childhood anymore.
2. Like you painted your arm green? 就象你把胳膊涂成绿色？
paint v. 油漆 n. 油漆，颜料
paint sth. + 颜色把……漆成
这个句式是接复合宾语的句式。

即后面表示颜色的形容词都作宾语的补足语。

Paint the blackboard black. 把这块黑板油成黑色。

the blackboard是宾语，black作宾补，合称复合宾语。

同义词 color v. 涂、染……
color sth. + 颜色把……涂成…
Paint the door red. 把这个门漆成红色。

Color the picture green. 把这个画涂成绿色。

典例2
Please_______ this room white. It will be more beautiful. A. paint B. paints C. to paint
解析： C 此题是祈使句，用动词原形，故选C。

句意：请把房间涂成白色，那它将更漂亮。

翻译句子：
我把脸涂成红色。

3. They look silly.
look silly 看起来可笑 ,
look 是系词，此句式是主系表结构。

系动词后的表语可以是名词、形容词等
常见的系动词：第一类：表示特征或状态的，有be, look, feel, seem, appear, smell, taste, sound, turn, out（结果是、证明是）等。

第二类：表示从一种状态到另一种状态的变化，有become, get, grow, turn, fall, go, come, run 等。

第三类：表示保持状态的，有keep, remain, continue等。

典例3
The little boy with the hat ______ beautiful. A. look B. looks C. looking D. look like
解析： B 此句是主系表结构，主语是 the little boy,故用look 的第三人称
单数形式，选B。

句意：戴着帽子的那个小男孩看起来很漂亮。

翻译：我们看起来很高兴。

4.Krista could not think of an answer. 克里丝特不能想出答案。

think 动词：想，考虑。

think of 想出；思考。

后常跟办法、答案、主意等。

典例4
He could think _____ an idea by himself.

解析： think about 意思：考虑，think over 意思：仔细考虑；think of 意思：想出；think with 没有这个短语，根据意思故选：C. 句意：他能自己想出办法。
