PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus for executing a match-up game between game devices, which further increases the interest of players in the game.
SOLUTION: The game apparatus includes: a game participation amount preliminarily required for performing one match-up game, game reference value data constituted by storing in a memory reference values related to a plurality of kinds of preset bet amounts for the bet amount to be bet in the match-up game; an inherent rate-setting means for allowing a player to set one rate from a plurality of preset rates before performing the match-up game; a bet amount-setting means for selecting one bet amount from a plurality of kinds of bet amounts as the reference value; and a means for calculating the allotment amount acquired when the player wins the match-up game, based on the bet amount set by the player and the rate selected by the player.
