Following the evacuation, we were given a demonstration by local firefighters. They showed us how to use a fire
extinguisher properly and explained the different types of fires and the appropriate responses to each. We also learned about the importance of having working smoke detectors at home and the necessity of having an escape plan in place.
The fire drill concluded with a debriefing session, where the school's safety officer highlighted the key points of the exercise and answered any questions we had.
