section B Let’s talk&Let’s play教案Teaching aims and Key and difficult points:
Help the students to learn and practice the drills:Would you like a knife and fork. And the answer:No,I can use the chopsticks. (Key points)
Students can use the drills and make their own dialogue.
Try to learn the difference between the Chinese food and the westernfood.Help them to know the culture behind the different food and different tableware.(difficult points)
Teaching time:one period.
Teaching process:
Step1 Warm-up
1.Sing a song “What would you like?”.Help the students to sing after the video and then answer the questions : “What would Mike like to eat? What would WuYifan like to eat?” Help them to answer like this:”He ‘d like some fish.He’d like some beef.”
e some pictures to revise some words about the food:What would you like to eat? I’d like some beef/noodles/soup/vegetables...
3.Ask them to work in pairs and then check if they know how to ask their partners’ eating hobbies.
Step 2 presentation
1.Teacher support he is hungry.help students to say:I’d like some rice.And then ask : “Would you like some rice?” then help them to answer like this: “Yes, please./No, thanks.”
e some pictures to ask them to talk in pairs like this:
Would you like some beef?Yes,please./No,thanks.
Would you like some noodles?Yes, please./No,thanks.
• 3. Use a chant to revise the drills:
Would you,would you,would you like some noodles?
•Yes,please. Yes,please, Yes ,please.
•Would you, would you, would you like some beef?
•No,thanks. No, thanks. No,thanks
•Read and check.
Step 3 Practice
1.Lead the students to read and pracice: “Would you like some rice?” And answer;“Yes,please./No,thanks.” then use the pictures to learn the words : “I’d like some rice ,I can use the chopsticks. ”
2.After that ,help them use the drills to learn the words like:bowl,knife and fork,spoon.and learn to use them to eat rice,noodles,beef,soup and so on.
3.Help them to learn to say the new sentence:Help yourself....
4.At first,listen to the tape and read after it twice.Second,watch the video and answer the questions:
•Q1:What would Mike like ?
•“a knife and fork” or “a chopsticks”?
Q2:Would Mike and WuYi fan like some soup?
And check their answers.
e the headwear and wear them on the students’heads and help them to act the dialogues in “Let’s talk”.Then ask some teams to act in front of the class.
Step 4 Birthday party and dinner in the restaurant
1.Imagine today is ChenJie’s birthday,She invites her friends to her home and they have birthday party together.Make their own dialogues like :“What would you like to eat ?I’d like...
Would you like ...?Yes, please.Please pass me the ...”
2.To learn “Let’s play”.Try to know how to ask the spcials in the restaurant and how to order the food in it.
3.Act as the waiter and guest in the restaurant like that:
Waiter:Good evening!What would you like?
Guest:Er...I’d like some noodles and orange juice,please.
Waiter:Would you like some chopsticks?
Guest:Yes,please/No,thanks.
Waiter:OK,you dinner is ready.Help yourself.
Then make their own dialogues and act it out.
Step 5 Culture learning
e the pictures to learn the Chinese traditional food like:dumplings,Zongzi,mooncake....And learn the western food like :beef,pizza,hot dog....
2.Watch the videos to talk about the difference between the Chinese food and the Western food.To learn to know that our Chinese people use chopsticks and spoon to eat food.and put the food and soup in the bowl.And in western countries,the forginers eat beef,bread,with the knife and fork.And put the food in the plate.
e the video to learn how to use the knife and fork to eat western food and use the spoon to drink soup.
Step 6 Homework
1.Read the words in this unit twice and write them on the exercise book.
2.Read the dialogue in the “Let’s talk” and make their own dialogues.

Chinese food :Zongzi,Tangyuan,noodles,rice...
Western food:bread,hamburger,hot dog...

教学反思:
本课是以操练为主,主要是操练句型:“Would you like some...? Yes,please./No,thanks. ”然后就是讲述中外饮食文化和餐桌文化以及不同的餐具使用,并帮助学生使用餐具和在生日晚会上询问客人想吃什么,做好小主人,并学会在餐馆点餐,说出自己想要的食物。
内容较多,时间把握需要加强。
