Early one morning,more than a hundred years ago, an American inventor called Elias Howe finally fell asleep. He had been working all night on

Last spring, I was fortunate to be chosen to participate in an exchange study program. In my application letter, I was careful to 1 how much I wanted to see France; evidently, my excitement really came through in my words. The concept of solitude(独处) in the digital world is almost non-existent . In the world of digital technology , e-mail , social networking and online video games , information is meant to be 1 . The Homeless Hero
For many, finding an unattended wallet filled with £400 in cash would be a source(来源)of temptation(诱惑). But the 1 would no doubt be greater if you were living on the streets with little food and money. All of this makes the actions of the homeless Tom Smith 2 more remarkable.

"Wanted: Violin. Can't pay much. Call ..."

Scientists have announced the cause 1 death for a man who died five-thousand-three-hundred years ago. The scientists say the man was killed by an

Two weeks earlier, my son, Ben, had got in touch. He'd moved to England with his mum when he was three and it had been 13 years since I'd 1 seen him. So imagine my 2 when he emailed me saying he wanted to come to visit me.

A young English teacher saved the lives of 30 students when he
took 1 of a bus after its driver suffered a serious heart attack.
