Hearing that you're going back to your country, I think it's a good idea to choose some items typical of Chinese cul ture to take with you.
The first item coming into my mind is the Chinese kite, one of the cultural symbols of the country. Kites, mostly made of paper, are often designed into diverse shapes, some with adorable animal images like butterflies or eagles. People often fly kites in an open area, whic h is a popular form of entertainment. Besides, a pen container with the Chinese ink painting on it is also a nice choice.
