3）求职信（Job Application Letters）
用英文写求职信是向人才市场特别是向外其推销自己的有效方式。

求职信旨在让收信人了解写信人的工作经历、技能、成果、愿望等。

因此在信件中，写信人应尽力叙述自己的专长，以便给对方留下好的印象，获得面试机会。

求职信的内容一般包括：第一段为写信的缘由（purpose of the letter）；第二段为个人情况介绍，如年龄、性别、文化程度、工作经历、工作技能、个人专长等(Background Information)；推荐人或证明人姓名以供录用方查询, 约定面试时间(Request for an Interview)。
