Life is like a shining gem, carefully carved by nature, precious and fragile, short-lived and eternal. Just as the grass will revive after the spring breeze every year, the flowers will bloom again after withering every year, and the dead leaves will grow again after falling every year, but human life is only once, and once lost, it can never be regained.
But there are always some people who turn a blind eye to our lives and regard them as a joke. They squander their lives wantonly, and at the same time, they inadvertently deprive others of their right to survive. Just a few days ago, a human tragedy occurred in the picturesque Taihu Lake Scenic Area.
A group of college students were visiting the Taihu Lake Scenic Area on a speedboat when an accident occurred. The speedboat driver was drunk, but he still took these college students out to sail, and eventually hit the cable between two cargo ships, causing many college students to fall into the w ater. After the other passengers got ashore by chance, they found that several people were missing. When the college students found that someone was missing, they begged the driver to return to look for them, but the driver insisted: "No, absolutely not, they are all ashore, not one less."
However, it was this sentence that quietly took away the young lives of four college students. Their bright future came to an end, and their life trajectories also came to an abrupt end. How much pain will their families endure! Where will their future go? The root of all this is that someone ignored their lives and deprived them of their right to live.
Did the driver and the older brothers and sisters do anything wrong? What was wrong with them visiting the beautiful Taihu Lake in the sunny spring? However, why did they have to take their lives, separate them from
their families forever, and isolate them from the world? The reason for all this is that someone ignored their lives, and it was you, the driver, who deprived them of their right to live.
Why didn't you go around and look for them again? Life is at stake, why not look for them a little longer? Your boat has capsized, so it's not difficult to find them now. If you had looked for them at the beginning, there migh t have been a glimmer of hope, but you insisted on not looking, causing all hopes to be shattered. Uncle driver, have you ever thought about the feelings of the families of those college students at this time? If your loved ones passed away, how would you feel?
If you could put yourself in other people's shoes, the tragedy might not have happened. When you found someone missing, you should have realized the seriousness of the problem instead of insisting on your own opinion. You could have avoided this tragedy, but because of your negligence and stubbornness, you led to irreversible consequences.
We only have one life, so we should respect it and cherish its value. We should always be vigilant and not do anything that may endanger our own and others' lives. We should strictly abide by traffic rules and avoid driving after drinking; we should pay attention to our own safety and avoid doing dangerous sports; we should protect the environment and not destroy the ecological balance. Only in this way can we truly cherish life and let the flower of life bloom more brilliantly.
