Abstract: The clinker sintering process is the core subsystem of the cement production line, whose coal consumption accounts for over 90%. Therefore, the research on process control of the subsystem is significant for energy saving of cement industry. But accompanied by various kinds of physical-chemical reaction, the clinker sintering process is one multi-variable, time-varying, nonlinear, large time-delay object. It brings large complexity to the process control. So, based on the operating status recognition to determine the steady-state operating point, the researches on the process control of rotary kiln and the calciner are described respectively. And then the research on multi-processes coordination of sintering subsystem is introduced. The applications proved the validity and practicality of the above researches. (17 refs.)

Abstract: Central air-conditioning energy saving under the control of the process of multi-parameter is a typical time-varying systems and nonlinear complex systems. In this paper, we analyzed and studied the process-oriented control system for central air-conditioning energy saving algorithm and architecture, and used evolutionary algorithm and PID control strategy to improve the existing control system. The new system makes the control system to achieve better function control and energy saving. (10 refs.)

Abstract: Energy saving is a crucial factor in industry. This paper discusses the energy saving of the tension system of a tensioner for a vessel. The tension system includes the hydraulic pressure clamping system and the AC servo motor. According to analysis, in the hydraulic pressure system the main energy consumption factor is the power source. So we have chosen the A7V.80.EL which is a kind of high-efficiency, energy saving, and high power variable capacity pump. Furthermore, we
adopted MCU to control the flow rate and pressure of the system. In the AC servo motor system, according to the characteristic of high-power motor, we route a start and stop control through the transducer and fuzzy control in the working process to reduce the energy consumption. The test results indicate the energy saving effects. © 2009 IEEE. (5 refs.)
