1、A Beautiful Rooster （rita）
Long long ago, there was a big rooster. He thought himself very beautiful. He sang all day happily. One day, Mr. Rooster had full breakfast. He came to a tall tree and met a bird. “good morning, miss bird.”said the rooster. “oh it's you, Mr. Rooster, good morning.”said the bird. “you have a long beak and grey feather. Please come down. Let’s see who is more beautiful, you or I? ”“sorry, Mr. Roo ster I have no time to do that.”said the bird. “what are you doing, Miss Bird?” “some worms are eating the big tree. I must kill them.” the rooster went away in shame.

2、The Monkeys and the Moon (vickey)
One day,a little monkey is playing by the well. He looks in the well and shouts , “Oh, My god!The moon has fallen into the well!”
An older monkey runs over, takes a look,and says, “Oh, My god!The moon is really in the water!” An olderly monkey comes over. He is very surprised as well, and cries out, “The moon is in the well.” A group of monkeys run over to the well . They look at the moon in the well and shout, “The moon did fall into the well!Come on!Let’get it out!” Then, they join each other one by one down to the moon in the well. Just before they reach the moon,the oldest monkey raises his head and happens to see the moon in the sky, He yells excitedly “Don’t be so foolish!The moon is still in the sky!”
猴子捞月
一天，有只小猴子在井边玩儿。

它往井里一瞧，高喊道：“噢！我的天！月亮掉到井里头啦！” 一只大猴子跑来一看，说“糟啦！月亮掉在井里头啦！” 老猴子也跑过来。

3、A Box of Apples (robert)
A man was going to the house of a rich person. As he went along the road, he saw a box of good apples. He said, "I do not want to eat those apples; for the rich man will give me much nice food to eat." Then he threw the apples away into the dust.He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river." So he went home, but he had nothing to eat that day. He felt hungry. He came to the apples, and he was glad to find them again to eat them. So do not throw good things away; you may be glad to have them at some other time.

The City Mouse and the Country Mouse
Once there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the city. After many years the City mouse went see the Country mouse. The City mouse said, "This food is not good, and your house is not good. Why do you live in a hole in the field? You should come and live in the city. You must come and see me at my house in the city." The Country mouse went to the house of the City mouse. It was a very good house. They had nice food to eat. Just as they began to eat they heard a great noise. The City mouse cried, " Run! Run! The cat is coming!" They ran away quickly and hid. After some time they came out. The Country mouse said, "I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. It is nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid."

6、小红帽的故事：(Cathy)
Once upon a time, there was a little girl, Her name was Little Red Hat. One day, her grandma was ill. Little Red Hat went to see her. On the way to grandmother's house, she met a wolf. The wolf had a plan to eat them all. So, he said, “Look, here are many beautiful flowers. 7、How a Colt Crossed the River(Andy)
One day, a colt took a bag of wheat to the mill. Then he came to a small river. The colt could not decide whether he could cross it. He asked a cow grazing nearby, “Aunt Cow, could you tell me if I can cross the river.” The cow told him that he could, because the river was not very deep, just knee high.The colt was crossing the river when a squirrel stopped him. The squirrel shouted, “Colt, stop! You'll drown! One of my friends drowned just yesterday in the river.” Not knowing what to do, the colt went home to consult his mom. His mom said, “My child, don't always listen to others. You'd better go and try yourself. Then you'll know what to do.”Later, the colt crossed the river carefully. The colt realized that the river was neither as shallow as the cow said nor as deep as the squirrel told him.

In the woods, an hunter, killed many wild animals. This frightened the rest so much that they ran into the bushes to hide. At last the tiger stood up, pretending to be very brave, told the other animals not to be afraid anymore, and he would attack the enemy on his own. While he was talking, and lashing his tail and tearing at the ground with his claws to impress the others, an arrow came and hurt him. The tiger howled with pain. While he was trying to draw out the arrow with his teeth，the Fox went up to him and asked, in surprise, “whoever had the strength and courage to wound such a brave and mighty beast as the Tiger?”"No," said the Tiger, "I misjudged my enemy. It was that unbeatable man over there!"

9、Two princesses（Aillen）
One day，two princesses go to have a picnic in the forest. Suddenly （突然）it begins to rain！The princesses take their basket and hide inside a big tree.The rain stops. A bunny hops by. "I have nowhere to go. （我无处可去）My house has too much rain water，" says Bunny. Just then a bird flies down. "It rained so hard，" he says. "My nest fell （跌落）out of the tree."The two princesses will help their friends. They dig a nice new hole （挖了新的树洞）for Bunny. "Thank you，" says Bunny. They build a new nest for Bird. This was a little stronger. The third little pig built stone house. One night a bad wolf came. He wanted to eat the little fat pigs. He came to the straw house. 11、The Fox and grape(Steven)
A hungry fox is hovering about a vineyard. “I want to eat the grapes!” But, he is so big that he can not go though the fence. The fox starves for three days and lose some weight. So, the fox can go though the fence then. “hahahaha, I’m so smart.” Then he eats all the yummy grapes, and becomes fat again. Then he wants to go out, but he can not. So he have to starve for three days again. Oh, how foolish the fox is!

13、A poor pig(Raymond)
Danny is a little pig. He is unhappy because he wants to leave home to see the world. It’s a sunny day. Danny goes away when his parents are sleeping. On his way he meets an elephant, a peacock and a rabbit. At last, he gets to a lake. He looks at his reflection in the water and says, “I wish I have an elephant’s nose, a peacock’s tail and a rabbit’s ears.” after a while, Danny’s wish comes true. He runs back excitedly. But hi s parents can’t recognize Danny, “Go away, you’r e not ou r son.” Danny goes to the lake again. “ I just want to be a pig .” He says sadly.Danny waits and waits. He becomes a pig again. Danny runs back qu ickly. His parents hug and say, “ This is our lovely baby.”

14、农夫和蛇(Leo)
It was a cold winter, an old man had done his work and was
going home from the fields. On his way he saw some thing on theground. He looked at it and found it was a snake. It was not dead,but it couldn't move because it was so cold. " Poor thing," the man said, "I must try to save your life." "He picked it up and looked for a warm place to put it in. But he find nothing. So he decided to put the snake inside his clothes, right nest to his heart. A few minutes later, the snake came back to life and bega n to move.
When it had become strong enough, it gave the man a deadly bite. So he killed it and we nt on. When he got back, he was very ill and had to lie down. He knew he was dying.

15、the wolf and the lamb(Alex)
Once upon a time a wolf was lapping at a stream. when he looked up, he saw a lamb drinking a little lower down. “there’s my supper,” he thought. “I will find some excuse to catch it.” Then he called out to the lamb, “How dare you muddle the water?” “No, master,”said the lamb. “I cannot muddle your water because it runs down from you to me.”“Well, then,”said the wolf. “Why did you call me bad names this time last year?” “It was impossible,” said the lamb.“I am only six months old.”“I don’t care,” shouted the wolf. “If it was not you, it must be your father.” After that he rushed at the poor little lamb and ate it up.
狼与小羊

16、The fox and the crow
One day, a crow found a piece of meat. She picked it up and flied to a tree. Then a smart fox saw the crow. He wanted to eat the meat. So he had a good idea. “ How beautiful you are!” he said to the crow, “ I am sure that you can sing very well too.” The crow was very happy. She opened her beak to sing a song. But the meat fell to the ground. The fox picked it up and ran away.

Spring comes. The tadpoles are missing their mummy. They want to look for her. Then, a duck comes. “Mummy, mummy, are you my mummy?”asked the tadpoles. “Sorry, I’m not your mummy. Your mummy has two big eyes.”The duck says. “Thank you! Goodbye.” Then, a fish comes. “Mummy, mummy, are you my mummy?” asked the tadpoles.“Sorry, I’m not your mummy. Your mummy has four legs.” The fish says.“Thank you! Goodbye.” Then a tortoise comes. “Mummy, mummy, are you my mummy?”asked the tadpoles.“Sorry, I’m not your mummy. Your mummy has white belly.” The tortoise says.“Thank you! Goodbye.”Then a frog comes. “Gua, gua.”“Mummy, mummy, you are my mummy!” The frog says, “yes, my babies, I love you!”
小蝌蚪找妈妈
春天来了。

小蝌蚪们想去找自己的妈妈。

这时，一只鸭子游过来。

“妈妈，妈妈，你是我们的妈妈吗？”小蝌蚪们问道。

你们的妈妈长着两只大眼睛。

你们的妈妈长着白肚皮。

”乌龟说道。

“谢谢你！再见。

”这时，一只青蛙游过来。

“呱呱。

”“妈妈，妈妈，你是我们的妈妈！”青蛙说道：“是的，我的孩子们。

我爱你们！”
18、The Lion and the Mouse 狮子与报恩的老鼠(Maggie)
A lion was awakened by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up angrily, he caught him and was about to kill him Then the Mouse said, "If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness." The Lion laughed and let him go. Later, the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar, came and gnawed the rope with his teeth and set him free, exclaiming: "I am the mouse you spared the life. Now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse can benefit on a Lion."
狮子睡着了，有只老鼠跳到了他身上。

狮子猛然站起来，把他抓住，准备吃掉。

老鼠请求饶命，并说如果保住性命，必将报恩，狮子轻蔑地笑了笑，便把他放走了。

不久，狮子真的被老鼠救了性命。

原来狮子被一个猎人抓获，并用绳索把他捆在地上。

老鼠听到了他的哀嚎，
走过去咬断绳索，放走了狮子，并说：
“你当时嘲笑我，不相信能得到我的报答，现在可清楚了，老鼠也能报恩。

” 这故事说明，
时运交替变更，强者也会有需要弱者的时候。

19. The shepherd boy and the wolf(Kenny)
Once there was a boy who lived on a farm. Every day he had to take his father’s sheep to a hill. One day he tried to play a trick on the other people. （He said to himself. I will call “wolf. wolf.” then everyone come to help me. It will be fun when they find out there is no wolf after all. So）he cried: “wolf .wolf.” and everyone ran to help him. When they came he just said: “there is no wolf. It was only a joke.” He did this three times. Then one day a wolf really came. “Help! Help! The wolf is here.” called the boy. But everyone said: “No, He is just joking.” So they did not go to help the boy. The wolf killed all the sheep then.
狼来了
从前，有一个住在农场里的孩子。

每天，他都要带他父亲的羊到山上去放。

一天，他想对其他人开一次玩笑。

22、三只蝴蝶the three butterflies
