王兆飞:其实考试之前,包括我讲的各种班里,还有我的博客上,都是给大家很多模拟题、预测题,可是大家做完了之后在考完今天的考试会感到一点失望,因为没有押中,题目挺怪,讲的“姓名重不重要”。

以前我们关注的话题虽然不是最热门,但也是比较热门的,像食品安全、网上购物等等,但是这次考的竟然是一个跟时髦的东西没有关系的话题,但它却是一个常见的社会话题。

所以,我很佩服这次出题的人,就像我在博客上刚刚发表的文章所说的那样,新浪的博客,大家可以搜搜王兆飞就可以搜得到,我刚刚发表一篇博文,里面说在那么多模拟题、预测题的狂轰滥炸和围追堵截之下,出题人能够突破重围找到这么一个比较常见的社会话题,我挺佩服他们,他们挺能钻的。

但真的是万变不离其宗,就算考的话题不是我们所想到的那样,但也是属于它一贯的作风,因为我们说六级作文甚至四级作文也是这样,就是两个方面的内容,要么是常见社会话题,要么就是关于大学生的话题,其实四六级这回考的都应该是社会常见的社会话题,不会是那么难。

还有就是从形式上来说,这次的六级挺给面子,属于第一大类,我讲课的时候会讲到六级写作的第一大类特别典型的对立观点型,关于名字的看法,第一段有人说名字很重要,第二段是名字不重要,最后是说你的看法,其实四级跟这个也很相象,四级主要是说博物馆现在免费开放,目的是什么。

阅卷老师最重视的是语言,考生最需要提高的也是语言。

有的同学以为使用一些高难词汇就能取得高分,其实不然。

丰富多变体现在词汇和句型两方面。

同一词语在一句话、一个段落乃至一篇文章中最好不要重复出现,应尽量使用同、近义词替换(无法替换的关键词除外)。

例如:think可以替换为reckon, assume, argue 等词。

如果想不到同、近义词,可以使用上义词进行替换。

此外,句型也应考试.大富于变化,不要拘泥于主谓宾句型,可以使用主系表、过去分词和现在分词短语作状语、不定式短语作状语、状语从句等多种句型。

“功能段落”突破CET写作。

冲刺阶段,背模板还是不背?我的答案:背,但绝不是盲目的背。

整篇背诵模板不是最有效的方法,因为模板的写作思路是固定的,然而很多时候试题的命题思路可能与所背模板思路不同。

因此,可能导致“所背非所考”,甚至导致文不对题,生搬硬套。

但是,无论四六级写作话题如何变化,一般都对应三个或两个汉语提纲。

只要按提纲要求去写相应的内容段落,就做到了紧扣主题。

历年写作提纲可以总结为六种功能段落:现象描述、危害分析(弊)、原因分析、建议措施、观点阐述(观点的本质为利弊:支持方观点等于分析“利”,反方观点等于分析“弊”)、意义阐述(利)。

严格说来,即使对学习英语多年的人来说,在写作时想做到完全用英文思索都是极难达到的一种近乎神话的抱负境界。

关键是中文思索的程度——英文修养极高的人在写作时可能已经很少意识到自己是在用那种语言、很难区分自己在什么时候正在使用什么语言,他已经到了“天人合一”的境界;英文很好的人可能只是在整体构思时用汉语,到详细写作段落或句子时用英语;英文一般的人会将每句的意思大致用汉语想好,但写作时还是要用英文的习惯句型和固定搭配来表达;初学英语基础又很不扎实的人在不仅每句用汉语想好,还基本每字严格对译,这就是中式英文的产生缘由了。

要想少些一点中式英文,就要多积累习惯句型和固定搭配,在“翻译”时尽可能多用这些模式化的句型,少一些逐字对译。

2.经常想不起想用的一个词的英语说法,该如何解决?汪老师:这是考试时任何一个人都会遇到的问题,即使他的词汇量很大。

其实就算一个人的词汇量再大,大到把握全部英文单词,也还是会遇到一些无法用已有单词表达的状况。

由于世界在变化,每时每刻总会有新的事物消失。

遇到不会表达的思想可以用以下几招:第一,模糊化即用上义词表达。

如不会说“手提电脑”,可以用它的上义词“machine”, “gadget”, “invention”, “instrument” 等。

其次,可以解释说明。

近日,浙大城市学院等11所高校的上万名大学生,提前模拟操练,参加了由杭州新东方组织的英语四六级模拟考试。

考试流程完全仿照四六级真实考试环境,帮助学生提前熟悉考试程序和时间安排,并在考试中发现问题并及时加以修正,受到考生欢迎。

考试结束后,学校对模考试卷进行了讲解并抽样批改,谢侃老师还针对模考中出现的问题,对广大考生就如何正确处理进行了点拨。

作文花5分钟列提纲很多考生拿到作文题目之后直接就动笔开写。

这是一个误区。

其实,作文考试的时间(30分钟)对大部分考生还是充裕的,有的考生直接开写,造成结果了跑题,有的写到一半发现无话可说,这样会打乱考试节奏,对心情也是一个重大打击。

建议考生利用前5分钟,用精要的词在试卷上列出提纲,所谓“磨刀不误砍柴工”。

听力听懂最后三句话很多同学发现听力中的选择题比较容易把握,但是最后的复合式听写成为考生“心腹大患”。

建议你熟记大纲词汇中字母数超过10个的长词,以及容易拼错的词,而且一边背,一边熟悉它的正确英语发音。

最后三句话的建议还是努力去听懂大意,不要急着去写听出来的词。

综合花10分钟改错很多考生问题在不能很好地分配时间,建议做改错题起码留出10分钟,翻译5分钟。

对改错,出现频率最高的是主谓不一致、名词单复数、词义的正反用错、非谓语动词、词组搭配等等,考生只要把历年的真题改错都做好总结,掌握了这些错误点,做起题来也会容易很多。

针对翻译,考生们只要读懂中文大意,选用学过最简单的单词和词组,串连成句,注意时态和单词拼写问题后一般不会有太大差错。

快速阅读先看问题再阅读很多同学还是全文阅读之后再做题,浪费很多时间。

其实应该学会“跳读”,因为即使看懂了全文,所考的内容才占10%,所以先看问题,再到文中找答案的“定位”能力比较重要。

仔细阅读跳读全文,抓住中心仔细阅读部分是考试中的重头戏。

很多同学读完一篇不知所云,或者被干扰选项打乱了阵脚。

离6月份的英语四、六级考试还有一个月左右的时间,在这段短暂而又宝贵的时间里,如何有效而又合理地准备四、六级写作,如何在考场上最好地临场发挥,对于四、六级考生们来说是至关重要的。

复习策略
笔者列举几种能有效提高考生们英语写作水平的方法,供大家参考。

背诵
四、六级写作需要在30分钟内完成一篇短文,共计120或150余字,这对很多考生来说颇有难度。

但试想若将其改为中文作文,大家就会觉得易如反掌。

原因何在?俗话说:“熟读唐诗三百首,不会做诗也会吟。

”很多考生从小到大背诵了大量中文佳作,因而可以将其随意组合,自由输出。

然而,在英语学习中,很多人却只沉溺于记单词、抠语法、做阅读,很少有人背诵英文文章,殊不知背诵是提高英语综合能力的法宝,因而考生平时应注意多积累经典的英文词汇、句型和范文。

也有些考生反映自己背过很多英文文章,但上了考场大脑还是一片空白,什么都想不起来。

这种情况很常见,主要有两个原因:一是没有进行造句的工作,只是盲目背诵;二是背得不够熟练。

学习任何东西都讲究先求“质”,再求“量”。

大家英语学了很多年,文章看了很多,为什么写作还是学不好?主要原因是只“量”,没重“质”。

一篇文章应背到脱口而出的程度,如果还需要过脑子,就证明背得不够熟练。

若只是半生不熟,背得再多也是徒劳。

默写
背完经典范文后,还要进行默写,然后对照原文纠错,弄清楚错在什么地方。

默写的好处在于它让你发现常被自己忽略的一些容易犯错的小地方,如拼写、单复数、大小写等。

这些错误正是考生们写作中的弱点,也是阅卷老师最不能容忍的地方。

培根说过:“写作使人精确”。

只有默写下来,你才会发现自己常犯哪些错误。

中译英
中译英练习也是提高写作的好方法,也就是根据范文的中文译文,将其按照自己的理解译成英文。

译完后,你就会发现自己的翻译和原文有很大的出入,这些差距就是取得写作高分的关键。

这时,对照范文,看看原作者是怎么写的,思考为什么这么写;同样的一句中文,范文中使用了哪些词汇和句型,你使用了哪些词汇和句型,然后对照学习范文中词汇和句型的多样性。

相信通过不断练习,你的写作水平会在不知不觉中有所提高。

模仿
所谓模仿指的就是模仿范文,套用范文的精彩词汇、句型、句子和框架。

最初套用时可能比较生硬,但只要不断积累和练习,套用起来会越来越顺手。

临场注意事项印象原则和阅卷老师的“三眼”
在人际交往过程中,第一印象至关重要,四、六级写作也不例外。

阅卷老师要在短时间内批阅上千份试卷,目光在每份试卷上平均停留的时间只有几分钟甚至几十秒钟,要想在这么短的时间里抓住其眼球,给其留下良好的印象,难度可想而知。

所以考生应该进行换位思考,为阅卷老师,也为自己的分数着想,首先要把字写工整。

通常,阅卷老师看“三眼”即可打分。

以2007年12月四级作文“选修课”为例:
第一眼看你是否把字数写够,不够则会扣分;同时看文章是否是三段(四级写作一般以三段为宜),是否“两头小中间大”(第一、三段较短,第二段较长)。

第二眼看第一段是否进行现状说明,第一句是否有“各大学开设了各种各样的选修课”之类的话;第二段是否进行原因列举,第一句是否有“学生由于各种原因选择了不同的选修课”之类的话;第三段是否进行举例论证,是否有“以我自己为例”之类的话。

如果文章符合上述要求,则证明没有跑题。

第三眼是扫描和查看,主要是看文章中是否有明显的错误。

同时,老师会随意读一两句,敲定最后分数,因而使用得当的经典句型,会给阅卷老师留下极好的印象,有助于考生取得高分。

语言第一位
四、六级写作重点考查考生的英语表达能力。

阅卷老师最重视的是语言,考生最需要提高的也是语言能力。

有的考生以为使用一些高难词汇就能取得高分,其实不然。

中英文写作都讲究“简洁就是美”、“绚烂之极,归于平淡”。

美国作家海明威经常使用小学词汇,但他是诺贝尔文学奖的得主,可见语言的好坏不在词藻的华丽与否,而在于使用是否得当。

中学词汇用好了,也可以取得各种英语写作考试的高分。

当然,基础较好的考生,恰当使用高难词汇的确有助于提高分数,但是不要盲目追求难度,与其写一个错误的复杂句,不如写一个正确的简单句。

四、六级考试对写作的话题、观点和字数都有严格限制,它是一个展示考生英语书面表达能力的平台。

考生应该把构思的时间减到最少,把主要精力放在推敲语言上,力争将语法、拼写、标点类的低级错误降至最低,力求遣词用句准确恰当,表达地道。

这样,即便没有使用高难词汇和句型,也可以保证稳得及格分数。

切记作文不是口语,语言永远第一,它决定了得分高低。

阅卷老师在语言方面主要从两个方面进行评判:
1.基本正确
四、六级考生写作的最大问题不是写得太简单,而是文章中错误太多。

考生最常犯的语言错误有三类:语法、拼写、标点。

最常犯的语法错误包括:时态、冠词、主谓一致、名词单复数等。

2.丰富多变
基础较好的考生,要想取得四、六级写作高分,应做到语言上的丰富多变。

丰富多变主要体现在词汇和句型两方面。

同一词语在一句话、一个段落乃至一篇文章中最好不要重复出现,应尽量使用同、近义词替换(无法替换的关键词除外)。

例如:think可以替换为reckon, assume, argue等词。

此外,句型也应富于变化,不要拘泥于“主谓宾”句型,可以使用“主系表”、过去分词和现在分词短语作状语、不定式短语作状语、状语从句等多种句型。

四级作文如果量化成句数,只需写十句左右;六级只需12句左右。

全文应以短句为主,长短句相结合。

所谓短句是指十个词左右的句子,不能全篇都是五六个词的短句。

同时,全文应有一定数量的长句,一般15~20词即可,太长则显冗赘。

有的考生以为只写长句不写短句,就能取得高分,实际上老师看长句会觉得很累,写长句又容易出错,反而不易得高分。

其实一篇好的作文应当是长短句相结合,难易度相适宜。

精炼的短句可以放在段首表示强调;复杂的长句可以进行具体的论证、举例或描述。
